So I finally watched Wonder Woman and I won't lie it was just there. Excellent performances by Gal Gadot and Chris Pine but I found myself dozing off at some point. What's a movie without stakes or tension? WW was never in trouble at any point in the movie, and like someone said, it was hella generic.

The most enjoyable DC movie to me thus far remains BvS ultimate edition. Now, that was a movie. This one is all fluff and frankly I don't get the hype. And Aries was so disappointing and one note.

Now they are pushing a WW sequel release date. Why are they not talking about Batfleck's debut biko?

i don't see the craze for that m0vie on a serious n0te. I didn't want to talk abt it bt, WW didn't nail it for me. Perhaps the craze is fr0m marvel fans and feminists. Can't wait for JL though. And n0te, zack snyder haterz are writing their reviews n0w. I predict 18% as its RT rating lol. Expect JL to be trashed.

The hype is because WB thinks they have now found their formula: make the movie more happy-go-lucky and remove all the philosophy lessons there is. Unfortunately, at the rate they are going, I am certain I might lose interest in DCEU movies sooner or later. I will just hope the rumours about downgrading Snyder aren't true....

i don't think its cos it took a happy go lucky t0ne bt cos it had this feminist thing going for it. And am sure disney t0ok part in its success as when the m0vie came out several MCU staff [actors and all] were happy for it and l0oking forward to 'captain marvel' thus, WW success was needed to prove captain marvel could make en0ugh at the B. O when the time came. If zack snyder doesn't direct flashpoint, i would be angry...that storyline is for snyder. And if i have my way, it needs an R rating.

This guy was the true definition of a villain you would like to hate. Why should a villain be lovable anyway? Jesse Eisenberg is on point with his crazy and inconsistent acting as Lex Luthor. I have a feeling that he will claim insanity for his roles in Doomsday's creation, afterall, there is not enough evidence to sentence him.

That's why I prefer Snyder's style, which is "show, not tell". This directorial principle means less banters and unnecessary conversation. The images, scenic compositions and facial actions tell the story. This is more realistic. A lot of directors use "Tell, not show", which is very boring. It's as good as listening to a radio drama instead.

zack snyder is a genius. No one would believe it. Had snyder directd WW the way Patty did, it would've been bashed to dust. WW was a generic film that s0me sites mist0ok as a marvel film.

Yeah, there is a scene of Batman overlooking a city. That part of the city looks like ground zero of Metropolis. But I would rather think that Batman is spending more time on the recruitment of Justice League members. The last warning from Lex Luthor in BvS must have placed him on high alert.

yea recruiting the JL should be a priority bt that doesn't mean he shouldn't fill out for metropolis' fallen hero in the event of a crisis. As it is metropolis has no heroes since supes death and the city used to stand as a beac0n for heroes.

hmm thats the question bro. Where will marvel's storyline go fr0m phase 4 upwards? I feel like they should just end avengers after part 4. Focus on the defenders. Infinity war would be box office smashing if marvel is ready to go past their formula. Kill off thor, loki, cripple black widow, kill off ir0n man, paralyse captain rogers, kill hawkeye, gamora, rocket racoon, and many others. Make the film have an impact on the Mcu. End the avengers story for once. You'd be shocked if the film doesn't win multiple academy awards if they do this. But Disney wouldn't do that. You'd be surprised if at the end of infinity war the only character they'd end up killing off is 'Uncle Ben'.

I think the actor and actress to appear as Green Lantern and Supergirl are being kept secret. It will be revealed just before the movie premieres probably. But I believe my analysis spot on, it has to be supergirl.

My money is on Supes, and I don't think WB would want to force any other characters into JL for now. Green Lantern(s) is the only new hero joining them. Moreover, Supergirl steps can't shake that building except from a powerful being who probably is regaining lost strength. That's dragging him/herself.
We shouldn't forget that Shazam might be doing some cameo(s) too just to give us a tip of him

My favorite Kryptonian is back. Pun intended lol. Shazam making an entrance would be awesome. Imagyn if it was the big cheese Alfred was talking to? Maybe thats what the reshoots included.

The fact is I love DC and Marvel. But I'm slightly skewed in favour of DC as I love its heroes more. They are more iconic in the real sense of the word. Dark themes, mature writing (talking about the comics and animation, not movies). It's no wonder that Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman are the most popular heroes of all time. If they can get their movies right (and they are already), they stand a chance of ousting the competition. On the other hand, Marvel sef no wan relax. They got the do.pe ass Thor trailer and Infinity War teasers out. Nna mehn!

But infinity war is g0nna be dope if marvel doesn't cheapen the film. I want to see real stakes like the JL trailer just hinted. Stakes have been missing in marvel films since The Winter Soldier film.

That could only be supergirl, guys!!! Bruce Wayne somehow got access to Kryptonian technology and somehow got the information that Supergirl was on earth. Remember, Man of steel already gave us a hint that Supergirl exists in this Universe. Now to tie it all up, Bruce already told Alfred that Supergirl exists and must have found a way to communicate with her. I don't Supergirl's appearance will muddle up things, it will be a surprise appearance. There is no need of a backstory for now.

and here i was thinking that was a flag. Be that as it may, there's no actress cast to play supergirl in JL.

The guy is shaping up to be the definitive Flash. So far he seems to have got Flash's upbeat personality locked down, which is the parallel opposite of Grant Gustin's Flash and a breath of fresh air.

True, but F&F has been growing steadily since F5. Unlike the Transformers franchise, the sheep still go, but the complaints have risen and folks are actually voting with their wallets. Transformers has already been removed from my cinema, didn't last up to a month. I kept postponing my viewing sotay when I was finally ready, it was taken away (same with The Mummy). The fact remains that Bay refuses to change the status quo - refuses to listen to the complaints and improve. Unlike F&F that has really played to its strengths, if I remember correctly, F8 got just over $1b box office without the help of the US BO (it earned over 220m in US, if you were wondering). Which obviously, had nothing to do with Walker, but more to do with a franchise that keeps playing to its strengths. It's one of the film's I regret not watching again, because I had so much fun watching it. I know I actually told the film to "take me now" at least twice. The guy, next to me at the cinema, kept laughing at me.

every scene that featured Mr. Nobody was gold. Even little n0body was hillarious. Can The Rock do any harm in being featured in any m0vie? I doubt it. Pissed he won't appear as Black Adam in the Captain Marvel film.
