i knew GL wasn't going to be in JL part 1, it seems the JL would feature an aquaman villain with darkseid.

You might be right. In one of the old rumours, it was said that a virus would be unleashed on the superheroes prompting the formation of Justice league to fight darkseid's.

In some other news, I heard that BvS ticket sales have climbed to over $150 million already.

I could call it a TV spot but it is more like an advert for the jeep used in that scene. Just like the Turkish airline spots for Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor. On a good note, the Turkish airline ads have received over 14 million views. A report said that Turkish airline has receiving phone calls and mails from people asking for flight reservation to Metropolis or Gotham...lol

I feel the rumours about BvS is because some guys are trying to discredit it in order to pave way for CA:CW. More over, I personally don't follow the ratings because most Michael Bay films will be rated well, yet a lot of guys have ish with his movies. In fact because of what he did with TMNT, I really wish his next five movies will generate a gross income of $1k(lol).

Let's just wait and see how it pans out. As for Deadpool, I felt a bit disappointed with it, though its not as bad as some people are painting it.

Yeah, the good news is that the shooting for Justice league: Part 1 will begin by April 11, 2016. This will be directed by Zack Synder with the script written by Chris Terrio. I believe the solo batman movie with Ben Affleck will happen in early 2018, most likely. I feel 2018 is too long for a batman movie, I want it in 2017!!

yea that'll put the marvel guys to sleep. As 4 a batman film, 2018 at best. If 2017 it'll hurt JL box office. I'd prefer a supes film.

It is official...Dawn of Justice runtime is 2 hours 31 minutes. Tickets will go on sale from 29th of February!

If were to analyse Drew McWeeny's statement, I would say it's 80% speculation. The only part that seem true is that he knows people who have seen the movie inhouse. Also, it could be very likely that people had mixed response to the movie. However, the other part of his statement is speculative. He wrote an article yesterday after the thorough insults he had received from all over the world. He is actually uneasy now from his article because he was further criticised in the comments. My point is this: why make conjectures and conclusions about a movie you haven't seen? His statement hurt a lot of people, but did make some marvel extremists happy.

ofcourse why n0t. They would be happy. I want BvS to do well bey0nd expectati0ns to redeem snyder's image.

That McWeeny guy is impossible. His rumours have turned into news. Almost every website is flashing that crazy news while citing McWeeny as a source. Some plunkheads really want to discredit this movie even before its release on March 25.

I don't know why guys are so biased against BvS. Superheroes kill in Marvel movies, no one complains. But superman does it, everybody screams. Age of Ultron had nearly 40 TV slots with a trailer of hulk fighting, nobody says anything. DC does it, everybody screams! Just this morning, some random research group sponsored by I don't know who, came up and said their AI predicted that BvS has a 32% likelihood of making profit. Why didn't they include Civil War and other superhero movies in their useless list? Why only BvS? Are some people afraid of BvS succeeding at the box office? I just don't get it at all..

i guess its a disney pr0paganda or becos people hate snyder.

Man of Steel wasn't a flop because it was dark, Zach Snyder is just terrible thats all cos DareDevil and Jessica Jones were darker and they were both a huge success. DC are just terrible @ production cos the trailers of Batman vs Superman gave away so many spoilers that the movie itself will just be a re-cap of the trailers

Also, WB execs want the film to have more Batman scenes than Superman. We're likely to see Batman for at least the first 15 minutes of the movie. This suggests that WB has more confidence in this new Batman franchise, and might want to switch 2017 JL movie with a solo Batman movie directed by Affleck and another person. Zack Synder will still most probably direct Justice League 1 and 2, that's all. The biggest question would be if fans would be disposed to this new idea. I think a solo Batman isn't a bad idea, I heard it's going to be about Jason Todd (Redhood).

i hope WB doesn't go that directi0n i want JL to m0ve forward, bats can go next.

I think the story written by Terrio is the main source of worry. WB execs feel it is too mature and serious compared to 'other' comic movies. You should read this...
