The Witcher, Game of Thrones, Westworld, The Man in the High Castle, Carnival Row, Daredevil, and a whole host of others come into focus.

And as for more established actors avoiding superhero films, that's already the case. Most established actors in Hollywood already avoid superhero films. Haven't you noticed?

bros, GOT startd out cheap, the witcher is cheap. Bros, d0n't let picture quality decieve you. How many A lists are in the witcher or in tv series? A feature film budget of a superhero film has a 200mill budget, but that sum wouldn't be worked on a tv series. I may be wr0ng but thinking like a studio head, why spend that m0ney 0n s0mething that wouldn't get a worldwide release in theatres and that can be bo0tlegged?

i doubt it. It was m0re like surveying interest by having snyder publicize it. It wasn't planned, they just wanted to see if there was an audience. I kept w0ndering why snyder would go against wb and be slandering jl bk then. Alot of u folks were insulting the guy. Then gadot and affleck. I knew no one would be bold to risk their career to voice out for a cut against studio idea. But it was all abt trying to build an audience and interest. They were all working for wb in the l0ng run. Cos the way they were talking of the cut, ayer couldn't talk abt his, neither could margot robbie on suicide squad. Wb had a nefarious interest but it wasn't definitive till a hype was creatd. Remember they kept denying a cut ever existed. So it was all abt getting interest and seeing public opini0n.

I just watched Star-girl, and i can absolutely say that the series has all the making of a wonderfully made and executed TV series.

From the introduction of Starman to the introduction of Star-girl, everything was just perfectly arranged in a wonderful symmetry. The story just developed on its own, and that final scene of the first episode...lol.
I love that Stripsey guy already... Should have known DC's intention of making him tell that story about his dad being a mechanic, I didn't see that final scene of episode coming ah swear!

Now, that's how you make a series... Another win for DC Universe!!!

If you ask me, I will tell you that All Superhero films should be reduced to series cuz of Character development before being pushed to the big screen. That is, most of the build ups will be done in the small screen while the big events happen on the big Screen. More like a combo.

bad idea. Series are t0o cheap bro. And it would give studios the opportunity to cut cost. Plus, each epis0de has many writers and different directors. M0re over established actors would avoid superhero films going by ur logic cos working on series is a load of workload than feature films.

i doubt that supergirl idea. D0n't think it was part of it. Plus it hasn't been decided if it'd be a miniseries. I'd rather a 6 hour film than a mini series.

There will be minimal reshoots, that's why the main actors are called back

reshoots as in resh0ots? What abt the sets? What i heard was ADR oh n0t resh0ots. It's been like 3 years, i doubt wb will waste m0ney rearranging sets. Plus actors will have to get back into shape, you got to pay them big bucks. You can't do all that with the stipulated 30mill wb are dishing out. I doubt there'd be resho0ts, just voice recording cos i can't imagine affleck, cavill or gadot returning to film scenes. They'd have to sign c0ntracts cos their c0ntracts have expired. And these guys aren't exactly cw actors. Plus, vfx is even costly. So for resho0ts to be possible, wb will have to dish out 50 milla. D0n't forget scheduling c0nflicts for the witcher.
