This isn't the first time actors have been recast in sequels, from major role actors to very minor role actors and it won't be the last either.. IMO continuity is only officially affected by how the storyline not by recasts cos if you recast a character for some reason and still have them do the same the the other actor would have still done continuity remains the same...

It's just mentality that is different

again, my problem isn't the recast. It is assumed, they are going with a young batman in a past setting, yea u would recast or cgi. But u recasting a role originated by a caucasian actor to be played by a black actor in a story of same c0ntinuity, is stretching far. It's only d0ne if the story is different fr0m the original. Here is a perfect example, the role of batw0man is to be recast right? Okay, let's have a black w0man replace ruby rose as kate kane for seas0n 2.

yea, they are white in c0mics but the narrative had them black at the start, so u can't change their race in the middle of the story. Had it been gord0n wasn't introduced, it w0n't be a problem.

dude, it already is a problem with a black gordon. U d0n't do a recast of a role by having a colored pers0n take over a role originated by a white pers0n. It's like having a white man start playing Joe West or a white girl play Iris in the flash. If reeves cared abt c0ntinuity, he wouldn't have cast a black man in that role. Alfred gets a pass, but gord0n? He isn't anyhow min0r character bro. Okay, let's have a white man play perry white in MOS 2 or a black guy play lex luthor then.

N0w, to the issue of matt ryan playing c0nstantine again in jl dark. It could work, but seeing how producerz like to do their things differently, they'd opt for a recast. Cos trust me, using matt ryan would in a way restrict how they may want to go with the character, and in other terms, they may feel it could create c0nfusi0n with viewers. it is produced and owned by Dc universe, and later aired on televisi0n by the cw. It is like project fame for example. It is owned and produced by mtn but aired by multiple channels.

Jl is a big budget stuff, to carry out resh0ots 3 yearz after its original release, u need m0re than 30mill. It's n0t like u are asking just one actor to c0me and act al0ne in just öne r0om. The thing is, snyder shot alot of scenes in a producti0n that t0ok close to 5 m0nths. There was a script and zack said he'd finished filming and even sent his film to wb to assess. Reports said, he wantd to add new scenes, but HBO said they were unnecessary and that the budget for those scenes would sky rocket.

All i want to say is, #YNWA IT's inevitable!

bros, if the batman is to be included in the dceu, it would cause m0re harm than g0od. By the way, reports say Reeves wants to separate it. The way i see that reeves guy, he isn't a fan of c0nnectd universes, why force him to do what he has no intenti0ns of. The signs are there: the initial idea was to have him direct ben affleck bt when affleck dropped out, things changed. He startd to do unnecessary recast i.e Alfred, a black c0mmissi0ner gord0n when these characters have actors who appear way differently in the dceu. It's a sign Reeves has no interest in the dceu. If n0t, why do a recast?

I don't think Cavill will appear in SS or The Batman. But additional scenes to play Supes in SnyderCut is imminent. Negotiations still ongoing for appearance in other films.
The Batman is separate and different from the DCEU. It's just like Joker.

I'm hearing if MOS2 is the most likely candidate. If SnyderCut is massive, then assuredly a sequel with Cavill is definitely coming.

cavill did menti0n b4, prior to BvS that he could appear in a SS sequel. MOS 2 is dpendent on snyder cut. And it's obvious it would have zack at the helm. HC won't return for JL resho0ts. Resho0ts aren't happening, cos to do that, u need alot of things like set design and c0ntract. Plus, it's n0t like only Cavill will film scenes.
