After 120 mins, and PK in the semis, cope with playing with a know, he was smoked,
If e easy go try am thats the more reason why he was smoked, he was used and worn out in that final…Adingra turn am inside out at that afcon final |

BankyGee: Penalties na penalties. "near catch" na save?
Salah and Marmoush played good "far catch" PKs, how far na? Make Egyptians dey drag them say them play rubbish PKs? Who go miss go miss.
Expected goal for a PK is 0.87... Open net o with just one person standing to stop you. Anyhow you play am, there's that 0.13 possiblity of miss, ALWAYS. Baba that thing Salah play na catchable…u see that type lookman and that last egypt guy scored…those are classy penalty…hanging the ball in a top corner of the net…i never see keeper wey catch that one |

Nigeria is now smelling around the afcon trophy, we we will lift that trophy either 2027 or 2028
same way we romanced around the trophy from 2000 to 2010 before winning it in 2013 2000 2nd place 2002 3rd place 2004 3rd place 2006 3rd place 2010 3rd place 2013 WINNER
we are coming again 2019 3rd place 2023 2nd place 2025 3rd place |

SymphonyRad: Hopefully Chelle builds on this cause we are finally solid in defence and goal keeping, Arthur Okonkwo will join soon as #2 to Nwabali and Benjamin will miss his defensive best friend (Bassey), Ajayi is in his best prime and will provide effective leadership till he retires with a gold trophy in AFCON 27/28 insha Allah.
The foundation already looks good, the only few tweaks needed will be for Chelle to inject new prospects (as he promised) like Durosinmi who will be the next big #9 for us to understudy Osimhen and build a partnership with Akor (who is learning a lot from Osimhen already). We need them as reliable strikers who can hold it down when Osimhen is injured etc
Lastly the North curse seems to be broken under Chelle, we beat every North African team in this tournament except Morocco (arguably the best and most complete team in Africa at the moment) we didn't lose to them in regulation time, it took PKs with all the dodgy officiatings and Chukwueze's gaffe for them to beat us.
I make bold to say that right now, no African team can talk to us on the pitch except for Morocco, Senegal and maybe Ivory Coast. baba you see this one, dem go collect beating for our hand if we meet again…i can only fear Senegal and Morocco as the number 1 and number 2 teams….Egypt was very lucky our second 11 started this 3rd place match….if this game was a semifinal serious match, we for don tear Egypt apart |

FiveFootNinja: On a more playful note, we need to shelve the white jersey for now. Na the green jersey dey give us good luck. But last Afcon we use white Jersey beat CIV for group stage, dem catch us for Final with our green jersey, Adingra smoked Aina like tilapia fish😂😂😂🤣 |

BigManDesigns1: God bless you for stating the facts... As far as I'm concerned, if bono had dived in the opposite direction, chukwueze's pk would have been considered a very good one. In fact, Alex and Simon were even more non chalant with theirs Yes naaa bro…it was just the pain for losing that spot kick and losing the semifinal after world cup heart break, that made people blew Chukwueze’s agenda out of proportion….Chukwueze wan calm down place that keeper just as Simon and Iwobi did, but he was so so so so unlucky Bono read his body movement….if Chukwueze had played those roof hanging penalty even with that his body gesture, dem no born Bono well to catch am…our Penalties are just too cheap and catchable… It either you learn the roof hanging penalty or the Ekong/Taiye Taiwo/Nsofor centre level ferocious shot penalty….. That thing Kenneth Omeruo played last afcon na comedic rubbish…God save am say Ronwen Williams jah the opposite side go buy crayfish |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by minfelix(m): 7:23pm On Jan 17 |
Use your striking options yo play penalty, u carry defenders and skillful wingers dey play penalty….even against DRC, i was expecting Lookman Akor Iwobi Osimhen (Though injured) Ndidi to take penalties….. one more thing i observed, our penalties are catchable if keepers dive towards the ball…our boys should learn to play those classy European/South American style penalties…all this grass ball will always put us in trouble….. we are just blaming Chukwueze, calm down and watch Iwobi,Simon penalties, they should just thank God the keeper did not their direction.
Now see the kinda penalty that Egypt guy played that beat Nwabali, despite following the ball…you can never catch those types
Only Lookman played the best Penalty this night |

Chelle bring in your strong 11 jare…win this 3rd place and keep our record intact abeg….History has it that almost all our strong starting 11 in past afcon are always use to execute afcon 3rd place match…especially your strong frontline…. Ayegbeni scored against Mali in 2002 3rd place Okocha and Osaze scored against Mali in 2004 3rd place match Garba Lawal scored against Senegal in 2006 3rd place Nsofor scored against Algeria in the 2010 3rd place Ighalo score against Tunisia in 2019
abeg abeg carry Osimhen,Lookman and Iwobi enter for second half abeg |

mrwilliams9: One bad game does not invalidate a player’s qualities.
Onyedika is not SE midfield material….ok then, who is?
This is the same thing people said about Iwobi last AFCON…. Iwobi is Onyeka is Bashiru is(wont even be losing balls anyhow the way this Onyedika is losing balls and too much backward passes) Ndidi is and so on and so forth🤣 one bad game against Morocco, this one against Egypt is now looking like 2bad games |

When person don dey get hope to lift afcon, mean fixtures will just decide to come and rubbish us…with our invincibility, Egypt was the best opponent to face…not Ojorocco….even Peseiro defensive super eagles was so unlucky to face a re-invigorating host CIV, it should have been DRC in that final…Peseiro would have used his defensive pattern to lift that afcon… Thank God B/faso ousted Ghana in the semifinal of afcon 2013, else Ghana for use past head to head ach-rivalry to edge us that year |

Chelle to be blamed...yes Semi and Bassey lost against Congo but i will force one of them to play especially Bassey cuz nobody will blame Bassey for anything in this tournament. you see am |
