This is bad move for C Ronaldo, money isn't everything, this will damage his reputation

He's already a millionaire with so many achievements to be proud of.

If I were him, I would consider quitting football now, he's already 37.
He has gotten most honours now it's time to play for money

PoliticsRe: My Take On The Tinubu/sabinus Skit by Minjim: 9:59am On Dec 26, 2022
Kennyprince:
I watched the full skit made by comedian sabinus which seemed to mimick APC candidate Tinubu.

While some people are bashing Mr Sabinus for what they considered " a too expensive joke", I wish to differ on this.

1. Sabinus only said the very words and body language of Tinubu

2. By getting angry, are the APC supporters telling us that Mr Tinubu has been messing up all these while?

3. If you have been supporting him for what he do tell u that usually convinces u, then why did u find this painful?

4. If you had a conglomerate, a big one at that up to the size and capacity of Nigeria, will you in all honesty give it out for an ailing and mentally derailed man like Tinubu to manage?

5. Do u love this country? If yes, then why are u bent on handing it over to someone who is not fit in all ramifications to manage it.

Lastly, election is in two months today, Nigerians must go for the best this time. And the best in this case is LP man, Peter Gregory Obi.

A new Nigeria is possible!!!

Compliments of the season
I'm sure you have elders in your family. Do you go around mimicking their old age deficiency for fun.

It's all Tinubu's fault. He should just endorsed a younger or fitter person

Sections 60 and 62 (1) of the Electoral Act 2022, election and declaration of results starts and ends at each polling units where forms EC8As were signed by all parties agents.

The commission affirmed that over voting cannot be proven except through diligent comparison between form EC8A and the physical BVAS machine.

PoliticsTribunal: Oyetola Closes Case, Panel Admits Adeleke’s Results by Minjim(op): 2:41pm On Dec 03, 2022
Former Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, and his party, All Progressives Congress, the petitioners before the Election Petition Tribunal hearing matters emanating from last July 16 Osun governorship election on Saturday closed their case.

The panel also at Saturday’s hearing admitted original copies of Form CF001 and all its attachments used by Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke, to contest the 2018 governorship elections.

The documents presented to the panel by the Independent National Electoral Commission, through a Deputy Director, Joan Arabs, after counselling the petitioners, Mr Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, had checked through them, were admitted as exhibits.

Earlier, counsel to INEC, the 1st respondent in the matter, Mr Henry Akunebo, informed the panel that an original file of Adeleke’s GCE results, testimonial as contained in Form CF001 he used to contest the 2018 election, had been brought by his client in compliance with the order of the Tribunal.

At last Thursday’s sitting, INEC on subpoena by the panel had presented the documents, but Adeleke’s GCE results and testimonial obtained from Ede Muslim Grammar School, Ede, were noted to be blurry and the Commission was ordered to bring a clearer copy at the next sitting.

Counsel to Adeleke, the second respondent in the matter, Mr Niyi Owolade, and that of PDP, the 3rd respondent, Dr Alex Izinyon, SAN, said they had gone through original copies brought by the 1st respondent, noting that the documents were more legible than the previous ones presented.

After going through the documents, Mr Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, who represented the petitioners, said they were legible enough and applied to tender them before the panel.

PoliticsAppeal Court Affirms Oyetola, Running Mate As APC Candidates by Minjim(op): 2:27pm On Dec 03, 2022
The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has on Friday affirmed Gboyega Oyetola and his running mate, Benedict Alabi, as the authentic candidates of the All Progressives Congress in the July 16, 2022 governorship election in Osun State.

The appeal with no: CA/ABJ/CV/1099/2022 was between Adegboyega Oyetola & Anor v PDP & Ors.

The Appeal Court held that the outcome of a governorship primary was a collective decision of a party, through its congress, that could not be rendered illegal by constitutional challenge or deformity of any officer of the party.

Following, the court upheld that the defects in the letter notwithstanding, forwarding the nomination and sponsorship of Oyetola and his deputy to the Independent National Electoral Commission, the fact that they emerged from a valid primary could not be ruled out.

The Court of Appeal also awarded the cost of N200,000 to the appellant.

Earlier, The Peoples Democratic Party had sued Governor Buni and four others challenging the nomination of Oyetola and his running mate as the duly nominated candidates of the APC.

On September 30, 2022, the Federal High Court, Abuja, nullified the nomination of Oyetola and his deputy governorship candidate, Benedict Alabi.

Justice Emeka Nwite agreeing with the submissions of the plaintiff’s counsel had declared as null and void the nomination of Oyetola and Alabi by the APC.

The judgment was predicated on the ground that Governor Buni who submitted their names to INEC violated the provisions of Section 183 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Section 82 (3) of the Electoral Act, 2022.

Going by the ruling, the judgment of the Federal High Court, Abuja nullifying the nomination of Oyetola and Alabi as the APC candidates in the governorship election has been set aside.

PoliticsRe: Tribunal: INEC Presents Blurry Adeleke’s Testimonial, Oyetola Kicks by Minjim(op): 8:22pm On Dec 01, 2022
fergie001:
This is what I think happened.

Adeleke finished from Ede Grammar School whether 81 or so.
In a Court of Appeal suit in 2018, WAEC confirmed and testified that Adeleke sat for the exam but he sat for only one subject which is English and scored F9. This is ok in Court and by our laws.

However, I think Adeleke before that suit, had allegedly tampered with the scores in other subjects. APC been the ruling Govt in the State must have found out from the school register but have no water-tight prrof. (This is my thought)...

There is no gainsaying the fact that the PDP and INEC do know what happened, the reason they provided a blank paper. They have said they cannot give what they don't have but can bring the original file. The original file has the right one but it is obviously not what he submitted in 2018.

So, can the Court compel INEC to present what they don't have?
The Defence will definitely call WAEC to testify and push it to the petitioners to prove and once that is done it will be difficult.

My bro, person wey hold the one wey Adeleke submit fit dey Belize now inside one room.

© garfield1
Summoning Waec will have to be in the appeal. The tribunal may not have the power to do that.
