pickabeau1: Story for the Marines

You saw a well dressed man looking responsible middle aged and assumed he was single

Your naïveté is astounding
For you a woman in her mid to late 20s to be believing a man in his late 30s or early 40s not married or at best a divorcee or widower is comical

At best you are an exception ...

Girls know.... Why do girls want some other woman's 'useless' husband

Why coco why?
i have always wanted to ask,pls are you M or F. I realy do wana know!

cuteyspy: I wish I knew how to quote. Bt anyway the idea is not in the cheating itself. Its d mindset. Thy were young! Nd that was d best his friend could do. If It were sometin more life threatning,Yussuf wouldn't have behaved any less. He stood up for his friend! Dts rare!(A young lad for that matter). To me,he's such a good friend! This s not a criticism thred. Its a fun and appreciative one. Learn to see what's worth appreciated in each person. Jesus s still Lord! Acept him today.
Smiles. You didnt seee what i saw!
RomanceRe: Does Love After Marriage Really Works? by Mintayo(m): 7:08am On Oct 02, 2014
marieolae: This is actually what happened to my uncle. He met this girl which he had no interest in marrying. Just a fling. They were having sexx regularly and eventually she got pregnant. He insisted that she should abort the pregnancy but she refused. So in this situation, he was " forced" to marry. Her. And now I believe he is madly in love with her, not only because she is the mother of his child, but its something from within. I guess love after marriage is possible, but its not advisable to rush into things. The story doesn't always end in a glorious way. "And they lived happily ever after" may not be the case.
Your Uncle must have made a very hard decision, but I believe everything depends on the two artner involve.
Even if you fell in love before marriage,if you don't make a conscious effort eevryday to love your spouse, the marriage may hit the rocks!
For a marriage to be successful, the partners must makr a conscious effort to love each other everyday.

Oltabaks: It was 2007.I was in JSS 2.It was a public school. It was the third term examination, and i was about to cheat. My friend Yusuf was seated two seats behind me.As soon as the invigilator turned away from me,i asked Yusuf for the answer to the third question.Apparently, the answer was a long one so he decided to write it out on a paper. He threw the paper to me,but it fell halfway between us.The invigilator turned, looked me in the eye,and walked straight to me.She picked the paper and told me to get up.Yusuf stood up and said he wrote it.The woman told him to sit but he didn't.He said she should compare the handwritings on the script with the one on his answer sheet. She did and told him to follow her to the principal's office.I couldn't let it go so i stood up too,and i told her i asked him to write it for me.She took the both of us to the principal's,we got 15 strokes of his thick cane each and we've been laughing about that incident ever since. We wrote that paper again and he still taught me question number 3.
Don't be shy:Share the best thing a friend has ever done for you.
You called this best? Cheating in an examination is the best?thing a friend did for you? Classic!
So if i refused to help a friendcheat with a friend in an examination,i am not a friend?
This kind friendship na wah!

RomanceRe: Dating A Broke Guy(my Experience); Is It Worth It? by Mintayo(m): 11:39pm On Sep 30, 2014
obongproff: Am not a prophet of doom. But I see u breaking up with him by dis time next year. Cos ur already starting d process by dis post above.

Why are u comparing him with odas? Why do u use ur friends and oda ppl as a standard ur boyfriend must attain to?

Its obvious ur unhappy with ur relationship.

Does he hav a dream or a goal dat will improve his financial condition within 5yrs? Does he hav a plan to actualize dat dream? If he does, 5 yrs from now, u wd either regret u left him or be happy u stayed.

U ladies must undastand dat being broke and being poor are not d same. Broke is temporarily not having cash but having d capacity or potential to make a lot of money in d future. Poor is having no cash and lacking d mental capacity or human potential to make more money in d future.

Its ur choice shawink
I love this post, there i wisdom in this post!
The op relationship will not last, for her to be comparing him to someone else is a shame! It is people like her that end up cheating on their spouse later in life.
I love your analysis on being broke and being poor.
the problem of so many ladies today is that they are short-sighted,they only base their life on the present, they don't know that things can change in twinkling of an eye. The fact that someone is broke today doesnt mean he won't be rich tomorrow. Ladies and contentment,na real wah! IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN SOMEONE OR IN HIS FUTURE,STOP WASTING YOUR TIME WITH THAT PERSON,JUST MOVE ON!
FamilyRe: What Will You Do If Your Fiance Says No Make Up On Your Wedding Day ? by Mintayo(m): 4:36pm On Sep 30, 2014
Godmystrength: That is not the point...
If you as a man don't like/want a woman with make up, there are lots of single ladies out there who have never used make up in their entire life..... why go and date a woman who makes up, you refuse to discuss your concerns about make up with her and then on the wedding day, you come up with the no make up rule?? not fair on the woman. If it has been discussed and agreed, then the woman won't be caught unawares. It might look like make up ish is so trival but it is the action behind it that makes it serious....

It is just like a man going to date a deeper life lady and everything seems fine until the wedding day when you now present the make up kit and jewelry box you bought and tell her that she MUST paint her face, use earrings, fix her nails, fix her hair etc. Imagine the kind of shock it will be to the lady especially when you never gave her a hint all through the courtship period......and imagine how she will feel when some people tell her to obey for her to have a happy home.....

and what kind of happy home do you intend to make with an unhappy bride? I used to think a happy home is where both parties ARE HAPPY and not ONE party happy with turning things around to his/her favour while the OTHER party is unhappy and doing things just to have peace.....
I understand what you are saying, but is that enough reason to stop the wedding? Nobody even talked about talking things out with the husband, the next thing is "we gotta stop the wedding"?

Smh... Some women sha, choosing vanity over a happy home.
I remembered a story a friend told me about a lady who wanted to cancel her introduction because the husband could not give her the required 12k to make her hair! The husband gave her 6k and she went gaga!
Smh again!
