Pls stop it. If your baby is a girl, and you want her to have soft bouncy hair with the curls retained, then don't wash everyday. Washing strips the hair of its natural oils and all...that's why it's better to use a conditioner set.

What I do for my daughter is condition once a week, and apply Shea butter + olive oil/coconut oil every other day....and her hair is obviously better than her brother's hair that I used to wash everyday that it got so hard.

Can I condition my 8 weeks old baby's hair?

Ok, I bought avent but noticed that it doesn't close tightly. It keeps leaking.

colic most likely...burp her well after each feed, if you are using bottle try to buy anti colic bottles, u can lie her on her tummy (supervised) because of SIDS, but don't worry, it passes at about 3 months

Please recommend any of the anti colic bottles you've used. I want to introduce formula to my baby since she will be starting creche by the end of may when I resume work.

My experienced mamas in the house I don come again o! My prince is a month old today, and I noticed he sweats a lot while feeding,also when he is sleeping he breaths fasts for awhile then breaths normal,moves his eyes and smile. Even when he is awake he smiles a lot (I learnt frm my Mil that he too young to be smiling ). let me stop here for now.

My 7 weeks baby smiles too. In fact she's been smiling since 3 or 4 weeks old

With vaseline i inserted my little finger in her bum and she pooed an hour later. She's already pooed 3 times today.

My baby is yet to poop oh. This is day 8 and she's 7 weeks today. Am taking more of protein and fruits, giving her warm bath and doing the bicycle kicks but it has refused to come. She keeps farting and her fart smells a lot now.

We're suppose to share helpful tips and our experiences here and not force our opinions on others please. I don't think any woman will embark on 9 months journey, sleepless nights and financial sacrifices only to do what is not good for her baby. Besides not all fingers/health conditions are the same for everyone. If a woman is comfortable doing as she pleases with hker baby, please, please, advice her, share your thoughts and opinions by all means but don't berate her like you love her kid more than she does. Nobody is an authority on this motherhood thingy. We all learn everyday.

That said, please let's give our views and 'jump and pass' the one we don't agree with.

There are women who give birth and throw the child away oh. Infants are being picked up every day in gutters.

Place her on fruit fast...dat is make her eat lots if fruits especially oranges and bananas. Stop carbohydrates for now.

And then does she drink enough water? If not, give her lots of water alongside the fruits....hope this helps. Subsequently let her drink enough water with meals.

My daughter has not poo pooed for 3 days now. She's struggling and trying hard to bring it out but it's not coming. Aside inserting soap in her anus, what else can I do please?

*Learnt I can't do hot-water massage cos of d internal injury, how do I get my tummy down, some people advised that I should take dry gin n eat lots of spicy stuff, drink hot water.
*, I was told I can wear girdle or tie d tummy with cloth.

Are all these true? Did u try any of d methods and did it work or what worked for ur tummy? Am 4 wks post CS and I can't see a difference in my tummy size.
*Also, how many months did it take to resume sex.

I was also told not to do hot water massage and I didn't. But I took hot water which am still taking. I also took spicy food with Uda. My tummy has reduced reasonably but not as it was before pregnancy. I want to buy a post partum tummy belt to complete the reduction. As for sex, av not resumed oh. Until I think of a good family planning to do, no sex for now.

My baby is 14 days today. I noticed an in curving of her left index finger. While she opens others - this particular finger is always curved in. I don't think is normal. Please what do you mamas think? Thank you.
