Politics › NIMASA N13billion Fraud : Controversy As Itsekiri Moves To Petition EFCC by Miscellaneous(op): 7:26am On Dec 17, 2015 |
Tompolo, NIMASA N13billion Land Fraud: Controversy as Itsekiri community moves to petition EFCC over land claim The last may not have been heard regarding the ongoing investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC over the 13 billion naira allegedly paid to some leaders of Gbaramatu community by NIMASA for the acquisition of land for Nigeria Maritime University, NMU, as leaders of an Itsekiri community (Omadino) in Warri South Local Government Area were said to be making frantic move to petition the Anti Graft Agency over claim of being “true owners” of the contentious community where the NMU is sited. Fresh Angle International gathered from Chairman of Omadino Elders’ Council, Elder O.D. Edukugho and President of Omadino Employment and Development Association, OEDA, Prince Metsese Diden that people of the oil rich Omadino community were shocked by the 13 billion naira reportedly paid by NIMASA to some leaders of Gbaramatu for a land “that the Supreme Court early 2015 decided in a case that the true owner is Omadino”. While urging the “EFCC to unravel the mystery surrounding the acquisition of the parcel of land”, Elder O.D. Edukugho noted, “Omadino community did not receive a dime for the transaction even when it is known to the Federal Government that the entire land space is a property of Omadino community, with its real name called Okerenghigho”. He wondered why some people would “take undue advantage of having their kinsmen in government to perpetuate the evil grabbing and illegal appropriation of other peoples’ land without the express permission of the true owners of such land”. President of Omadino Employment and Development Association, OEDA, the umbrella body of youths of Omadino, commended President Muhammadu Buhari’s fight against corruption and enjoined the Federal government to investigate the 13 billion naira land acquisition fraud to a logical conclusion. It would be recalled that the Anti Graft Agency last week invited Ex-Militant, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo AKA Tompolo to appear at its office tomorrow, December 17, 2015 regarding the 13 billion payment or face being declared wanted. source: http://freshangleng.com/mobile/news/2552-nimasa_n13billion_land_fraud__controversy_as_itsekiri_community_moves_to_petition_efcc_over_land_claim CC lalasticlala ishilove seun obinoscopy |

Favolly: Typical nairaland behaviour... resorting to name-calling when you don't know what else to say.
Your blood was so hot that you didn't see that I said 'size' of my shoe.
I even said 'touche'.. acknowledging that you may have won the argument. But you didn't even try to understand it. Except of course you actually believe that Seun will go to Warri, in which case, my shoe size wins
You're telling me to be constructive.... Lol! I can't do this okay na u don win....... where u dey stay lemme marry u instead of seun. favorite-holy |

Favolly: I'm from Warri too, and I actually want biafra to happen so that we can hear word. Also, I think Seun can be a dictator and a tad childish. But unfortunately, I'm with him on this one.
And if you really believe he'll come and marry me just because of this, then I'm tempted to compare your IQ level to the size of my shoe. But if you were being sarcastic, then touche! u see u have proven beyond all reasonable doubt that u are a pig! One that has no bearing, shape and all there is. If u believe he is childish ain't u too? Like I said, say all u can ..... he won't near warri because of u. And for the record, a shoe doesn't av IQ... be constructive in ur words. It helps argument like this you know...... receive sense! |

Seun: Fellow Nairalanders,
Nairaland loves Igbos and Niger Deltans very much. The thought of being separated from them for any reason is unbearable to us, so we have decided that we will reject any attempt by anyone to use Nairaland to promote the idea of removing Igbos and Niger Deltans from Nigeria.
We have updated rule 9 of Nairaland to reflect this decision. It now says:
I'd like to urge all Nairaland members to respect and obey rule 9. Mynd44 is in charge of enforcing it. If you break this rule, you'll be banned.
Thanks, Seun (Founder Of Nairaland). u are a coward just like all other yorubas... I'm ashamed! I'm an itsekiri & we are just like the yorubas but I must tell u that yorubas are cowards & I knew today. I don't want biafra either but this ur move is too childish & uncalled for.... it's like saying ibos shouldn't visit Nairaland. Retrace your steps before you regret it one day……… whoever told u to do this, tell him you have a choice. Don't say buhari is a dictator when you are one. You are only fueling the biafra struggle.... 100 of Mynd44 cannot stop the agitators here cos if u continue banning u will only be seeing the downfall of Nairaland. Seun run as far as you can, grow eyes at the back of ur head if u can cos u can't see what's coming ……… #pitiful. N:B ==> If we continue like this, I see the igbos getting biafra in a short while..... u are only giving them relevance. You are doing more good than harm. The world has been watching………… |

Favolly: Nobody's saying stop the idea. Of course, we know the struggle will continue
All Seun's saying is DON'T do it on Nairaland forum
And if somehow this thing dies down now but later springs up in say, 10 years time because the 'idea' can't be stopped... still DON'T do it on Nairaland forum say all u can.... seun will not marry u. I am proud to be from Warri & I'm not in support of biafra but this seun said is balderdash & it's skewed.... |

4lashyme: Seun you can't fight any ideology with ban, bullets and violence. History is a great teacher. The colonial masters with supperior fire power could not stop the idea of INDEPENDENCE IN AFRICA. You need a better ideology to win. The funny thing is that in the case of Biafra, you have a better ideology. Your tribe had once clamoured for it - TRUE FEDERALISM! That is the ANSWER. If you continue on this weak and foolish path of banning, you will end up making nairalanders fanatic about this biafra issue. Even business wise, it wouldn't help you. In a world where social media use issues like this to attract traffic on their site, you choose to do the opposite in the most irresponsible manner. I hope you don't regret this action. |

Imagine the effrontery to ban free speech because you buy domain name and pay for hosting and code a few python. You are silly Seun. I couldn't believe a social media practisioner is restricting free speech. Absolute rubbish from a nobody. |

Seun u are too short sighted & so foolish…… I am not in support of biafra but I must tell u that Nairaland days are numbered. This is nonsense & one sided! Can't someone discuss about biafra in a forum again? What's the use of a forum? You are a deluded imp ….. such a silly idea! Did you generate it from the brain or your anus? So senseless! We niger deltans don't want to break away with biafra & we want our own..... all u care for is ur wallet size... no wonder! |

Agathabishen: Good day house, I have a younger sister who is almost 17yrs. She gave birth to a baby boy june last year, the boy that inpregnated her denied the pregnancy but we rallied around her as a family and bought everything she need and also take care of her and the baby. But just some months after she gave birth she always argue and exchange words with my mum. She will always carry the baby to the baby daddy & stay till around 10pm. She doesn't want to help my mum in the house, I am a poultry farmer & she always steals egg from my farm & takes it to her baby daddy‘s mum. She disrespects me, my mum & my elder brother always. I have alot of dreams for my sister & i wanted her to have a good future but she is already a drop out. Now my mother wants to send her out of the house but i still want her to make good use of her life but she doesn't see it that way.
House what can i do to put her back on track? Thanks Try all they av said here & u will get no result. It only takes the grace of God. Your sister will not learn the hard way…… she will after going through a trauma, damaged emotion or some sort of. I don't know how but pray to God…… I av witness cases like this. One thing u can help with is maybe ur mum or u cry for her when she does something unthinkable……make it real make her think her life over with a damaged emotion. Make her heart quake like she lost a mother, baby, u or something she has to get that feeling, somehow…… I don't know how. Don't evn use force, u are wasting ur time……… Wats her name, if I may ask? |

Don't know if he was u. When I started writing, it still took d grace of God for me to know that the questions were more than 25. Well, to God be all d glory. My hope is also on God. By d grace of God, we'll be awarded. Yea, it wasn't me though. Even a pen pal who wrote in lag never knew it was up to 30 …… I also heard pipo complained at my centre after I wrote. PrettyHausaGirl: In an industry which is fast becoming saturated with nudity and sexual expressiveness as a mode of trending and gaining widespread acceptance and recognition, it is not surprising that many upcoming artiste albeit, more significantly established artistes now prefer to showcase over the top sexuality through their lyrics and music visuals as a means of carving a niche for themselves in the industry.
From MAHEEDA's Sexy Bad Girl to CYNTHIA MORGAN's German Juice to JHYBO's Lomo and even the infamous OLAMIDE, PHYNO and LIL KESH's Ladi, it is evident that there is a casual vibe about how "dirty" one can make their music and get away with it and even get more "love" from it. However in this genre of lewd music, one name is beginning to stand out. Without resort to his old works, let's talk about the most recent offerings like "TESOJUE" with a lot of sexually driven lyrics and an 18+ video to "SKILASHII" and most recently "KPOMO" which caps it all, it seems REMINISCE is fast taking up the crown as Nigeria's most lewd rapper and musician and this new found love for been "raw" seems to be paying the bills as he is getting more recognition these days and isn't relenting. Is there any other artiste there who is dropping more 'matured content' materials than REMINISCE?
Funny enough, it seems we are the most hypocritical people on earth, as we enjoy more of these songs and videos with 'mature content' rather than the normal hip-hop tunes from REMINISCE. Well as long as it pays and works for him, who are we to judge. But then a certain ease has to be taken with the way such contents keep been released by REMINISCE, it could get effing boring! Or is it getting? Well, I'll drop my pen at this juncture, and I would love to know if you agree with me that REMINISCE is officially Nigeria's most lewd artiste of 2015.
