misspicy: So I was just minding my business this evening when my married friend called me,she got wedded to her husband two months ago and it seems there is trouble in paradise already
(background tears) Spicy, temitibami(am done for),you won't believe that since I married Tola we have not made love? I was suprised and asked why,she said she does not get attracted to him because of his smallish stature, then I asked her if she does not know this before marriage, she said they never made love before marriage because they both agreed on no sex before marriage relationship.
well her problem now is that she don't feel any urge towards her husband and it is almost getting to a point where her husband might force her because they are both frustrated.
Dear nairalanders she asked me for help, and I must confess,I am speechless, what should she do,how does she develop the sexual urge towards her husband?
lalasticlal.a please help me to help my friend,i don't want her to commit adultery ur friend was not prepared for marriage. She rushed into it & she is about to run out. She should just endure…… did u put scales in her eyes not to see the man was tiny? Ur friend must be a joker…… a gold digger, who knows? Don't marry for money ……marry for happiness but also consider if the man is well-to-do. Money shouldn't be ur drivin' force. …… the rich also cry. I pray God help ur friend. |

abdulwastecx: Here are some tips for hip roof. Shape of the roof is govern by shape of the floor plan, size of the plan etc. Rule 1. Your ridges/gutter(valley) must all be parallel and must be at angle 45 degree to the building corners Thanks very much. This statement really helped me think: "Shape of the roof is govern by shape of the floor plan, size of the plan" |

abdulwastecx: Before we could start the roof work, due to the complex nature of the roof, we have to do a simple roof design sketch showing all the "roof tie beams .
here is the roof tie beam sketch hey man. thanks for the sketch. But how do u determine the shape of the roof from a house plan? I was making a house plan in autocad & I wanted to overlay the roof plan but I was stuck cos I don't know how to deterimine the ridges & other components of the roof… In your sketch, how did you come about such design of the roof even? |

esthersolomon00: Hello Nlders,
I'm an ardent reader and follower of this great forum. So,I had to create this acct for personal reasons.
To avoid lengthy episodes permit me to keep it simple by going straight to the point. Thanks
As a young lady who's in her early 20s I find it extremely difficult to love a guy not to talk about being in a relationship with one.
There is this guy who can't just help but to love me passionately. We've been together for 9yrs now but who would believe we had sex just once? YES! Just once after enough fighting and struggling. Sometimes,I had to lock myself inside to weep cuz it's painful and it hurts! Why can't I have normal sex like any other lady out there?
I just detest having sex with a guy and it's as a result of this that I've lost most of my relationships. This stuff is making me sick cuz I want to enjoy sex with a man like any other lady.
THE MAJOR PROBLEM IS THAT AM "BIsexual" but a larger part of me hungers for same sex
And the ladies are not even helping matters cuz they also yearn for me every now and then., , I've tried hanging out with some cool guyz even to the extent of doing stuff with them YET! Nothing positive came out.
Presently,am dating a banker and believe me every other thing is perfectly in order EXCEPT the issue of sex.
Am worried cuz I know exactly what it means for someone you love so dearly to deny you of something.
I've prayed I've also cried my eyes out I've even gone for counselling @least to ameloriate this kind of lifestyle YET! Things are still the same. Someone should pls tell me what else to do...
Lalasticlala Esther, I can understand. It will never be easy…… that moment when you feel you are now starting to like men & shortly you get depressed again thinking you are made for females only. You are not born this way…… I will call it an addiction actually, an inclination i.e your life is tilted to females. It can be solved. Within the first four pages of this thread someone gave what could help about you understabding a guy blah blah……… i don't know the poster name just locate it. You can overcome it…… the feeling of you wanting to be with a guy is all you need. Who has never dealt with an addiction will never understand, in ur case lesbianism( i call it an addiction, a very strong one). Don't give up……… your reticence to deal with it at the infant stage caused u this. To those who believe it's normal, I pray your daughter will not experience 10% of what esthersolomon is going through. |

there are no 'omo onile' issues here at Kaduna. The moment you pay 5% of the cost of the land to the District head to enable them endorse your title documents, you are good to go. The land is 50 X 100, I still have enough space at the back that can accommodate a simple3 bedroom flat but I turned it into a garden to enhance 'green zone'.
I am out of kaduna for the next few weeks and cannot lay my hands on the building plan but I will send it to you whenever am at Kaduna. Kindly note that I have since moved into the house. Though I did not continue with my update again not until I saw this mail. Please I'll also like to get the building plan. Since I'm a student, I want to use it for study purposes. |

safarigirl: at this point, oyibo is the only way wether you people like it or not. Nigerian coaches have proven themselves to be sentimental, biased, petty, arrogant phucks that place self glory over team success. We need a neutral person No. Every1 is all those you listed. It all bores down to the degree displayed. . . . We know they are better than we silly blacks but must you rub it in all spheres of our environment? When do we ever get to try until we bring the best out of ourselves, ehh ? The time is ticking . . . . I still remember when Lars Laggerback brought us back home during that tournament. Pls a foreign coach will help us but for how long do we depend on them? I still believe no coach in the world would have been able to stimulate the 2013 team to win that cup. . .there are better keshi in nigeria, better messi and better all. . . .only if we keep on trying and act like boss to these oyibo folks we will continue to play IInd fiddle. |

EgunMogaji: An Engineer yes but not a building Engineer. I just keep detailed Excel spreadsheet on my building expense.
Whenever I dabble into something that I'm not familiar with, as in this example building a house in Nigeria, I become an expert on the subject. So I have learned a lot on price of materials and labour.
As an example I was quoted N190,000 plus N25,000 delivery charge for a gate. I found the same gate for N140,000 delivered to my site.
I'm enjoying the process With all these in your arsenal you are almost becoming a building engineer……… welldone |

EgunMogaji: Maybe you can reach out to the editors of that magazine.
I am comfortable with up to 6" of flooring. So 4" of poured slab and then up to 2" of flooring is okay with me on my project.
For you maybe, but for me it'll be cheap to bring a USA artisan to Nigeria and family members have done it in the past so I speak from experience.
But it's relative and it depends on what one is expecting to pay for USA style level of finish quality.
PS: In my professional life I am paid well for tackling, resolving and excelling on impossible tasks. I use that training and knowledge to empower myself in my personal life and have managed to accomplish a lot where many have thought there was no way. So I am used to people saying something is impossible and typically take it as a challenge just to prove that it's possible.
The only thing impossible is nothing. You seem knowledgeable about costs…… are u an engineer? |

abouzaid: and now we end up confusing the guy. anyway, what's best for him depends more on what he is trying to achieve, he sounds more like an engineering student than an architecture student. the revit vs archicad war is one that would never end so let's let it slide.@pic, the backside, currently too distracted to finish up the modeling @pic…… sorry to say but why does the design looks like a shadow has been cast on it? It looks shabby & hence, not beautiful. I thought archicad will have better graphics but sadly, it's behind autocad. |

abdulwastecx: Orion is a good structural software... good detailing for slab, beam, column and footings.
RCD ( reinforced concrete design software ) is a good made in Nigeria software for accurate structural design. it was developed by oyenuga.
RCC is a good excel spreadsheet for reinforced concrete design and bending schedules Thanks a bunch man. I appreciate but if I may ask, is this RCD fully efficient such that there would be no need to incoporate Orion into the drawing? Please enlighten me……… Again, someone specifically said the str. design for a duplex & bridge is different, of course; I would like to ask if the RCD can serve both purpose... |
