I got this plot of 60×120 land last year and I need to start developing it in order to avoid omo onile wahala.

I've decided to start by developing just a third, 60×40, of the land because of cash constraint. This decision I've taken against the idea of erecting perimeter fence on the land.

I must admit I'm a novice when it comes to building/properties. So I'd welcome great ideas.

I've contracted an engineer and he sent in this quote and a sketch of what I want to build on this portion of the land. I want the properties gurus to please take a critical look at this two and please offer me advice and directions. I'll also welcome ideas outside this propositions.

My name is Nonso from Anambra state. I, as a matter of fact, sat for this year's JAMB UTME with the aspiration to study Elect-Elect in UNIPORT. Yesterday, the 2nd of March, I'd completed my exams and after a long wait I got what I consider the biggest shock I'd ever received in the history of examinations. JAMB released my results as thus; Use of English - 60, Maths - 58, Physics - 75 and Chemistry - 67 Aggregate:260

If I'm not certain about others, I can swear it that I would never score below 90% in any Maths exam. I've gotten so acquainted with Mathematics that it has become my life and almost my everything. I don't know how JAMB marking scheme is like but if common sense is anything to go by, each questions should carry 2 marks. I practised the past questions and the least score I'd ever gotten in any test within a time interval of 50 minutes was 45/50 and I'm even so sensitive to errors on the past questions that I could easily spot one at anytime. What I can't seem to figure my head around is how JAMB do come about with this dubious marking system. Why must I be punished for an unfounded suspicion? I protest this result and I challenge the organization called JAMB to summon me anywhere, anytime and I'll prove that this score I was awarded with is a scam. My target to score 320 or above that can't be relinquished in this manner without a protest.

guy relax. I am "precious" by name and back in 2013 my jamb score was also 260. I felt bad because I deserved more than that considering my abilities. Little wonder why I'm called miscellaneous. By HIS grace I took uniben postume & was admitted to study civil engineering.....and today, I am almost rounding up. You see, it's a matter of time before you realize you are still living in the past. The school is now becoming competitive and just so u know, don't be surprised that someone who scored 210 in jamb will top your class when you finally gain admission to uniport. Though, this has never happened in my class, I only want to tell you that we should thank God for where we are fortunate to be/have. Many read more than you but, jamb bleeped them up. Just be happy at all times, it helps. 260 in jamb is by far what is needed to study engineering last I checked..... God bless your jamb score bro.... the struggle continues....

Luckily if u tall as well we make a perfect couple, if u short we bend to kiss u, you cant put your hands around our shoulders to intimidate us, it's actually very romantic when we put our hands around your shoulder and plant a peck on your cheeks! Short girls ndo, u girls can never do that.

5) We are good on bed: forget the portability of short ladies, tall girls with long legs are ready to hang that leg anywhere! Our legs can comfortably go round your waist. Angle 69 is awesome and easy and above all tall girls have really deep cunts,they can take any size of dick very well without feeling any pain duuuh to dem short girls.

We compliment your genes: it's hard to see a tall woman give birth to a dwarf kid. Even if her hubby is short, her kids come out average. So if u a short guy and u dating a short babe, have a rethink! You sure don't want a pygmy for a kid.

9) tall girls are hardly hot tempered: what's there to be angry about? I mean we have it all, guys always wanna associate with us so why have high BP on trivial issues? We laugh a lot and allow things slide.

10) If u ain't dating a tall lady, you need to step up your game

The plot is 72m x 72m and we are planning to have 16 units on it.
The building is designed to be for low income income families.

Each of the building will sit on a 16m x 18m each. The layout is designed in a way to allow a six meters width road.

The pics; Is that called a site plan or wat is the name?

This are cracks that occur in your concrete but are within reasonable limits and would not lead to collapse of your structure.

Is there a head beam in all the displayed 3D ?

and does headbeam span along the wall or along a roof ?

I am really happy with this. But honestly, the only error I could find is the nonrealistic cars and humans. The purpose of rendering I believe is to make it realistic like in a real life situation. But the cars spoilt the fun..... Overall is 8/10 from my perspective tho' nice camera angles and unique design.. love the factory

Nice sir... I am very familiar with oyenuga ( the Yaba tech, doctor). In that reinforced concrete design book you spoke about, the man was referring to load bearing partition wall and in structures, a load bearing wall must carry a reasonable load like slab, heavy roof, canopy beams etc.

The bungalow we are building here will only carry a head beam of 225mm x 225mm and also very light wood truss. Having say that it is still important to build according to some standard. We bought the block from a trusted supplier that uses stone dust to produce block and he get between 30- 35 for every one back of cement, properly vibrated and cure for some days before the work. We use this method because it will not be economical to mould ourself with the vibrated machine for such a low quantity of block we want to buy.

Bearing capacity only affect the width of the strip footings that will carry the load bearing wall but this affect heavily loaded portion wall. Thanks

Formwork is a is a platform use to enclose concrete in a civil engineering/building construction. it is a temporary structure that serve the above listed purpose a d it is removed (striking) after the concrete as set.

For this foundation, the Formwork is that wood that is nailed to the edges round to get a reasonable height, level and to hold back the concrete.

Dpc is an oversite concrete that is part of foundation but place at an height above ground level.

Casting of dpc. The dpc is 5'' thick at maximum and 3'' minimum. The mix ratio is 1.3.6
Summary of materials used 45bags of cemented 1 trip of 30tonnes aand

Pls wat is a formwork ? & can we say dpc is part of a foundation even though is kind of a floor ?

Also, u said you are gonna use 225mm headcourse and went further to say the headcourse simply means the concrete beam holding rafters and ties. I am in disarray, so u mean the headcourse is on the lintel ? Or the lintel is the head course ?
