Good day sir,
Am having am issue here....I applied for a tourist visa cos i like to take my child for vacation come April but as i was trying to print out my interview confirmation i discover that i was booked for C-1 instead of B-1 my interview is in 48hrs pls what do I do.

Have been reading through all posts here.
My question,is it compulsory to have invitation letter if you are going for tourism

Just has I said earlier, I intend to travel for just 10days cos my wedding is coming up soon.
Am a single mother, I want to go on vacation with my child before my wedding just to fulfill my promise to her.have been saving towards this mission. since I gave birth to her have not had any contact with her father since he said he does not want to have any thing to do with the pregnancy. I have an affidavit of fact and affidavit of single motherhood will there be any challenge.will this pose as a problem in acquiring a visa for her.she jokingly asked me that won't they ask that we don't have same surname and since then have been disturbed.

For now all I need is a good accommodation.

The truth is that there is really no laid down procedure. Take your IV. Maybe you should consider going alone. Pray you meet a patient officer who will really listen to you

Not it's not Trump's fault for the very strict scrutiny of US visa approvals.

Blame it on the very high increase in US visa abusers who have overstayed there legal presence in the US and has increase the number of illegal(undocumented) immigrant residing in the US.

Anyways, to answer your question about your chances of getting the US visa now that's a 50/50 and it will depend on how convincing your ties are and will be believed by the US visa officer.

My wedding is coming up by may.have only travel to Ghana for 4days.
1.do I need to provide my wedding iv
2.is my job enough prove for my home ties

Just give suggestions, what your take on this

The issue here is that U.S Embassy do not issue visa like they used to do... (i.e. 100 per day has turned to 10 per day) If your reason for traveling to U.S is not strong ( mostly tourism and visiting) they will denied you flatly especially if you don't have good travel history.
I will advise you to travel to places like Dubai, Southeast Asia and Europe.

Are u saying tourism and visit is not a cogent reason.

1.i intended traveling for just (10days)Easter celebration so my intend arrival date was in April but my appointment falls in may which automatically cancelled my original traveling plans.the issue now I don't have any arrival date or traveling plan.can I use the initial one staying that all traveling plans has been moved to latter date.

2.me and my partner agree on common union which in Nigeria is referred to as cohabitating, which documents can I provide to support this.

In Lagos/Ogun centre tinz went well no hassles, they call out the names according to the serial number.... when you hear Ur name,u take the serial number to the screening point....where u take measurements of Ur height,u proceed to where Ur medical fitness certificate is verified (the woman just Sidon dey find stamp)... from that point u proceed to where you have u original documents verified..... from there u go to your house to come back on weds for the test..... finish.

Anyone at Calabar center should please update us on what's happening. Are they allowing those without invitation letter but got the mail?

In Lagos they didn't even ask for the invitation letter

Even if u can't find Ur application I.D go to the venue....the call names and u can use your number to print out Ur invitation

From Independence layout, Take a public bus that is heading to imt/new market and stop at Ogui Junction bus stop(N50), you will see National Museum,From National Museum, take another bus that is going to New market,(50-N70) from new market, charter a cab or keke (cheaper)to Ngwo Cave/pine forest.

1,is awhum waterfall open to public now cos I learnt it was closed at a particular period.
2, this my movement plan can you help with idea of how much it will cost to get there:
Thurs: I intend to go to ezeagu waterfall
Fri:awhum waterfall,udi hill and Milken hill
Sat:my flight is for 3pm so I intend to go to the museum and ngwo cave...

For the other places like Ezeagu waterfall, awhum etc.. You will have to board a taxi.

Like how much will it cost to board a taxi.

Apart from Nike lake the other ones are in the same local govt I guess. First go to Udi hill, then the awhum waterfalls I don't think u can go there now because the last time I checked it was closed unless by special arrangement but u gotta be careful too, it's a lonely path n deep inside d forest. The Ngwo pine crest is almost along the Milken hill road after which u will enter a bus down to new market,from their pick a cab to Nike resort if u are loaded.

Most of those places you listed are almost in the same local Government .
