Which airline are you going with? Some airline will allow you go early while some will want you to provide enrollment letter before boarding.

Please it’s really urgent. I want to find out if it’s the airline or Nigerian Immigration that stop you from boarding if you leave one month before your start date.

My start date is September 6th and I’m meant to travel on the 31st of July. This Saturday. Please I need an urgent response. Because I’m at the airport now and the immigration guys said they have no idea about the early arrival rule.

Please I’ll really appreciate a response.

For your question I have a friend here on Nairaland is Moniker is Blavkmaann also had the same email from IRCC
It is advisable u get another medical done the hospital will upload it for you but incase they don't do that in time take the slip u were given in the hospital along so that at the port of entry if the CBSA officer request it, you will have evidence to prove that you have renewed your medical
2. if you renew it won't affect your issued visa as it remains valid it is just that if the medical is not renewed u might be turned back at the port of entry by the officer there.
3. IRCC will receive the update as soon as the hospital uploads it. Now if u can get a slot for medical at IOM I would advise that because i am aware that IOM sends you results to you via mail if u request. So that can serve as more concrete evidence for the officer to see.
4. WHAT HAPPENS? anyway, I can't say but sincerely it depends on the officer at the port of entry as some might send such applicant back while some might be lenient but it is better done than sorry.

1. I travel in July, do i still need to do it before leaving?
2. If i renew it, would it affect my visa already issued, and the whole process?
3. How long will it take for IRCC to receive it and update it.
4. What happens if i travel without renewing it?

I am so confused and i'll really appreciate all the help and advice i can get

I sent my documents to VFS via DHL on the 30th of October. It got to VFS office in Lekki on the 3rd. My last message from VFS about my passport being ready for collection was on the 24th. VFS dispatch it to DHL on the 25th. DHL didn't receive my passport until the 27th. then my passport came today, the 30th.

Just got my passport delivered to me through DHL.

Its been a nerve-racking experience with VFS to be honest.

Submitted my passport to VFS on the 3rd of November.

I just tracked my documents again on DHL site and discovered that the status has changed. It documents was received from VFS on Friday evening and is being in their office as at Saturday evening. I should get it by Monday.

I submitted my passport on the 2nd and it took 22 days before I got a notification from VFS that my passport was ready for pickup. It took DHL 3 days to acknowledge receipt from VFS.

Hello Euphorbia, I am having the same issue too. VFS said DHL picked up my passport on the 25th and I called DHL customer service after only for them to say they have not picked it up. So who is lying to us? I used my waybill number to check but no record of any parcel picked up from VFS. I am so confused at the same time livid. First thing in the morning i am going to get on a call with them.

Good day house. Biko, I am confused about this VFS operation of returning passport. I sent my passport on 30 October using 2 way courier service by DHL but was received by VFS on 2 November. I have gotten LOI and counterfoil. The last message VFS sent to me was that my envelope has been collected from VFS Lagos on 24 November. However, DHL said they didn't receive any package on my behalf form VFS.... Egbami oooo. What is going on? They never pick their call. Even mails are replied byauto generated machine. You can't go to their office too

The deferral will not affect your PPR in anyway. Submit your passport for stamping.

Hello MissMC,

Since PPR has dropped, there is no need to panic about forwarding the updated LOA to IRCC. Its reasonable if you hold onto it except requested which may not happen.

Choose Nairobi as processing office (if you applied from Nigeria)

Also send them an email (state your UCI, application number and full name as in application) and attach the new LOA

I am new here. I have been a silent reader for a while and I want to commend each and every one of you for the wonderful job done here.

Please I have an urgent question. How do I alert IRCC about my new LOA? I deferred my admission to September 2021 and I recently just got my PPR last week. i didn't upload my new LOA when my application was still under review and now that it has been approved, I'm thinking it's only right for me to tell them that I have a new LOA. Please I am really confused and bothered. I don't know how to go about this, I will appreciate if anyone can assist me with this. Looking forward to a positive response from anyone. Thank you.
