Hello nairalanders, pls join me and celebrate. I just got a job to work as a PA to a CEO of 5 different companies ranging from IT,construction, hospitality, oil and Finance. The job comes with an attractive salary as well. Though I don't have experience in that position, I surely will give my best. Now my challenge is that I will resign in my present place of work today(so I can resume @ my new job on monday) but I m yet to collect my salary for the month of january. If I tell my boss I m resigning today, it means I will get half of my salary cos that is part of the agreement I sign in my appointment letter. I believe there is more to this story than meets the eye. From the picture it seems like the policeman was shot from the back (No blood stains in the front of his shirt). Can one commit suicide by shooting himself in from the back.

Dont ever quit your job because of other people's behaviour. Given the staff turnover rate I am sure he is already under investigation by head office unless you have an incompetent HR head. At about 3pm today while trying to tidy up my desk for the day, one of my office assistant who I employed about 6months ago walked into my office and that he had some things he wants to discuss with me.

Knowing he has not made such demand before I quickly gave him all attention

After settling into the chair, he went on telling me why we should close early this year,that there is so much responsibility for him this period from his church to family he went on to tell me about how his body need rest and that even his birthday is coming up this month and he needs time so he can run around and put things in order before the birthday comes up.

After he left, I called the accountant to verify if his November salary and allowance has been payed of which I got a Yes response. (Needed to be sure if it's money wahala)

Aside this I personally Tip him as he helps me run some outside office errand once in a while.

Since you will like to retain him as an employee, negotiate a few days off for him just to show that you care about his well being and state of mind. Sometimes all some employees need is a few days to sleep off the fatigue and stress of life and they come back to work like warriors ready to kill for you.

That was how some persons took my neighbor's big generator across the fence while it was on. They didn't know that their mighty gen was gone until the criminals disconnected the wire from the other side. My neighbor thought the gen had run out of PMS, came out to refuel and started looking for their 3.8Kva generator. They traced the wire to over the fence and it dawned on him what had happened. Now everybody in my estate is digging iron cast deep into the ground to mount their generators.

And the yeye security people at the estate gate will be questioning people and residents like say you wan go Aso Rock but can't account for what goes on at the backyard.
