I think you should look for how to get info abt her so you can get her back to her parents before they kill her.

Sometimes I hear my neighbour's maid screaming and saying "sir please na, please na, don't flog me with wire"

I don't know why people are so wicked. If you can't stand another person's child, send her back. It's simple.

Thanks. She doesn't speak English. My friends uses sign language to communicate with her. The lady doesn't talk to me friend and avoids her. She is the only one that knows were the girl is from. I will tell her to try and get the name of the girls village and family name if possible.

My sister, i and my friend shed tears over the poor child's situation every day but we know we just have to do something cause God will not come from heaven but use humans to save the poor girl. I have tried to use Google but nothing useful is coming up. I am hoping someone on Nairaland has more reliable information. Not people that will only go and make noise and still leave her with the evil lady.

The lady has a raz brother that comes to stay there frequently, i am scared for her sexual safety.... sad sad

My friend has been telling me about the woes of her neighbours maid. The maid is less than 10years old and has one deformed hand. The neighbour beats her mercilessly and leaves her home alone with her 3year old son for days without food. The last time she beat her up so bad that someone saw the maid outside and called police (terrible gaping wounds all over the poor child's body). She not only beats but starves the little girl!! The neighbour spent 2 nights in jail and guess what when she came out they gave the maid back to her (Nigerian Police sucks). The beating has gotten worse and my friend sees the little girl shedding tears staring into space daily. She tries to sneak her food from time to time but the girl is so scared sometimes she refuses that her aunty will beat her. My friend is very disturbed and is scared for the girls life. She is so small she cannot defend herself and now she has been molested to the point that when my friend asked her 'does she still beat you?' She said the girl quickly stepped back and said 'no no no oh' ...Meanwhile my friend heard her screaming the whole of the day before. The girl is from the East and cant speak good english. The most my friend has gotten out of her is her parents are in the village.

Please does anyone know any organisation or anyone my friend can call that will rescue the poor soul before she is killed or totally scared for life cry cry cry cry cry cry

Actually deres sense in dis nonsense.NOT!!! So he is holding bck on proposal cus he hasn't seen her real hair? Silly dude!

He is not silly at all. People can stand some things that others cannot. What if its really not a pretty picture under the weaves and he is a very vain and squeamish kidda guy.....Marriage wont last 2days after she finally agrees to reveal her secret. There should not be any secrets in a relationship.

Family / Re: Husband Taking Meat From The Pot Of Soup/stew: Whats Ur Take On This? by missojugo(f): 7:38am On Nov 14, 2014
SUV:
my husband is fond of taking meat from the pot of soup/stew after everyone had finished eating.

i asked him why he does that he said his moth is feeling somehow sad

when we were growing up, my mum used to beat our house help for taking meat from the pot, she said its a bad habit. now my hubby is doing the same thin.

The annoying part is that sometimes we may not have surplus meat, we will only hv enof to go round everybody for the meal times, and when he finishes eating the meat in the pot, the real meal time, if there is no meat left to serve the food, he will complain that u are serving food without meat, that it is not proper.

wives in the house, please is anyone feeling or experiencing same thing?

Hubby's in the house, pls what do u guys think i shld do?

pls don't abuse me ohhhhh! i am only saying my mind

Tell him if he likes meat so much he should increase meat allowance by 50% so he can eat enough during meals and his mouth will stop feeling "somehow"

BreezyRita:
When couples get married, who follows who where??
Does the woman have to attend the husband's church?? Can it ever be the other way round?

The norm is the woman following her husband, but what if you love a man but you're not okay with his denomination??

This is a question to ask before the wedding not after....If you chose to marry him despite knowing that you don't like his church it means you automatically agreed to 'follow him were ever he goes and his God shall be your God'

Had one for my first. Didn't feel a thing not even when my sons mighty head came out. Decided to go all natural for the second one. Omo see pain that I never new existed. Was proud of myself...Difference between the 2 after the birth? Pain was worse after the first one, codine and co didn't help much! If it ever happens that I am to give birth again I will use epidural cause I have had a natural birth therefore, nothing left to prove to myself kiss

baby let me be your MANAGER

op I remember the story of Job's wife who would rather curse him and suggest he curse God than weather the storm

however i like where you head is at. Thats a good place to be. A helper to your man.

But some strong men detest this because a woman will now want to be wearing trouser with me in the house

and as a strong man in any economy, you should earn ten times your wife...or at least double....

Women are not meant to be providers, so their earning power should mostly pale in comparison to their spouse

but in rare occasions where the woman is earning more, good luck to the man

You are indeed a correct MAN.....All these small small boys here don't know anything. And yes I am a working mom !

Donfamous: One of the oldest wasys of grinding pepper,
Its so cool and adds some flavour to ur stew, but it seems people are lazy to try this step now, and most of our new generation wife don't even know anything about this, or consider it rather stressful, and primitive.
So have u ever tried it, and when last was it?

Why bring up the nightmares of the past. This nasty thing used to make me go into hiding once I found out its rice and stew on the menu. Na house help dey suffer am pass that year oh!

Family / Re: How Soon After The Death Of A Spouse To Start A New Relationship? by missojugo(f): 3:06pm On Sep 13, 2014
coogar:

men generally move on quicker. no time for recrimination or mourning for a year. what's done is done. within 4 weeks, a man is ready to put the incident behind him.
Sadly you are correct and the reason is that to men a spouse is a cook, bed mate, nanny to kids and house keeper and so what is there to really mourn when she dies...To him she is highly replacable. On the other hand to the wife her husband is her everything her lover, her friend, companion, better half etc. Hence she is ready to remain single 10years after his death....Bottom line is most men are self centered selfish asses!

P.S. OP if you like marry the day after your spouse passes on just remember you self will die one day undecided and since beds of the same feather flock together your fresh bride will come and ask people on NL if 2days is too soon to marry..Enjoy
