zikora79: @akinjosh, I also wrote d dragnet test on d 8th @ chams city ikeja and jst got a mail frm nestle inviting me for a test on tues 19th at their ilupeju office. Dunno if its d same sales test d oda guy is talking abt.. All I was asked to do is to come along wiv my writing materials.

Please what time is your sales test on the 19th? Confirm if they wrote 19th coz it seems most people got invite for 18th. Thanks

This is sad indeed. Once again parents of Nairaland please try and keep an eye on what your kids are watching, reading and doing. Do what you can to feed their minds with positive things cause whatever they see or hear continuously over time enters their heart and from there it is a matter of time b4 they practicalise it..Music lyrics and videos nowadays is like listening to and watching Porn. Went to a kids party d other day and come and see what a 5yr old girl was doing with her waist and body in d name of dancing to suggestive Nigerian music. I cud tell dat all dey watch in her house is music channels its was simply disgusting d way she dancing like a stripper and guess wot her parents were clapping for her and her foolish dad was so proud he came out and started sticking naira notes in the bum short she wore to d party!!!!!

Sorry mummy. I know exactly what you are going through. Can't count how many times I have taken my kids to d hospital to complain same. As long as they are not sick they just give me multivitamin and send me home. My second will be 2 next month and I have been chasing him around the house with a tiny portion of noodles all afternoon! I guess you should just keep a close eye on him and how much he weighs weekly and report any drastic changes to his pediatrician. I hope you are giving him multivitamins regularly too. Have you tried bananas? Mine will eat like 4 small ones when he is very hungry and that's it for the rest of the day. Also try well cooked spagetti as in very soft and maybe sneak in some shredded chicken. Try fired ripe plantains too. Keep trying my dear it will get better soon.

Does anyone know how to open the upper part of a water dispenser for proper cleaning? I paid someone to do it last year and he taught me how to open it and I remember feeling foolish for paying him to do it in the first place. I vowed to do it myself next time and now I can't remember how the guy opened the darn thing..Please any pointersThanks in advance.

I don't agree with you on this. It depends on the COY and sometimes the position and level. I have been part of interview panels where we actually wanted to know how much each interviewee thought he was worth. We pick people who meet all other criteria as well as those who where bold enough to tell us their current package and the minimum they were willing to take. Those that didn't have a clue we didn't bother with. Desperation is not attractive.

Edited: After stating your ideal pay package you however always finish your answer with something like "A pay increase from what i am currently earning with be great, however this job opportunity is more of a career building move than a quest for higher salary. In other words i am open to hear what you have to offer because its not all about the money to me'

Is it possible she missed taking it for a few in d month and is to scared to tell you. Also did she take d very first pill in the pack on d very first day of her last period?Its possible she is spotting and not the real period. If this is her first time of taking the pills and has been bleedling for over a day and did not miss taking the pills, I suggest she throws away the remaining pills and see what happens. In d meantime keep your thing to yourself if u don't want to be a daddy soonest! She may not be suitable for d type of hormones in daily pills hence it didn't work for her. It is always advised to see a medical practitioner b4 taking any pills even over the counter types.

Well if I were you are these are the things I would do: thank God my wife didn't die giving birth to "my" child, thank God d child is alive and healthy, thank her for putting her self through hell and back to give me a child, buy her correct Amala and Ewedu soup from d best joint in town, make sure there nothing wrong with my precious baby, start looking up how best to take care of my wonderfully made child.
