INNJOO FIRE: UI APP DRAWER I wasn’t so impressed with this, despite the Kit Kat OS, It had a lackluster UI – I felt the Inn UI was bland. For example, the InnJoo Fire doesn’t come with an app drawer, this makes all your icons stay on the home screen – even though this can be easily solved by installing a launcher, I can’t help but ask why the app drawer isn’t there in the first place LOCK SCREEN: I liked the lock screen UI, it has a “long press to unlock” feature that made it feel like It was a fingerprint unlock (don’t be fazed by my comparison, please ). MUSIC PLAYER: … *yawns* I was quite bored with the music UI, very bored to be frank – the only thing that made me feel good was the song that was playing. Why? THE MUSIC UI WAS TOO PLAIN – Okay I would admit that my HTC’s music UI probably clouded my judgement but all the same, I just felt InnJoo could have done more – However, we should all bear in mind that this is a N17,000+ phone, so the cost makes up for this. The screenshot below is the only fine part of the Music UI

Last week, MissTechy unboxed the InnJoo fire – if you didn’t see that you can click here. I promised a more detailed review after I have put the device to strenuous activities. This week, I decided to ditch my phone (HTC one) to use the InnJoo Fire – I’ve been using the InnJoo Fire exclusively for the past 5 days, running Android 4.4.2 and during this period , I didn’t receive any software update or upgrades (Not sure if it would come later on). With that said, let’s begin! INNJOO FIRE: DESIGN The first, and the most evident thing you get to notice when you see the InnJoo Fire is its two-toned design that combines a metal framed and plastic backed design. It comes with a 5.0-inch capacity touch screen and has slightly curved edges, Even though it is plastic, it doesn’t look so cheap. However, I must admit that the InnJoo Fire felt quite bulky compared to other smartphones within its price range. Did I tell you it comes with notification light? well it does!

spoilerx:As written in the article NPR conducted the research themselves. - the link is here : www.npr.org/sections/money/2015/05/21/408234543/will-your-job-be-done-by-a-machine |
chuks87:That is what I asked myself |
We all know that it would take a while before this can be possible in Nigeria, but I'd want to make an appeal to everyone to try and equip themselves with whatever tech skills they can latch onto - seeing that the world is already moving into the technology phase

|

2. MECHANICAL ENGINEERS I don’t know why this job has a low chance of being replaced by a Robot but Mechanical Engineers you are in luck, you won’t be replaced soon.

Hello Everyone - Name is tobi ayeni aka MissTechy and this post was gotten from MissTechy dot com What if we wake up to discover that someone has invented a Robot that can help companies save cost and get the best at the same time? What happens when technology advances so far ahead that Machines can perform all human labor? We can already see the signs with the rise of automated cars and Robots chefs. To answer these questions, NPR created a helpful tool that examines the chances of you losing your job to a Robot. The data used was gotten from an automation prospects from an Oxford University study called “The Future of Employment: How Susceptible Are Jobs to Computerisation?” It took into consideration these questions: Do you need to come up with clever solutions in your organization? Are you required to personally help others? Does your job require you to squeeze into small spaces? Does your job require negotiation? It used these questions and other algorithms to finalize on its assessment. I took the liberty of picking 16 popular jobs in the country, Are we’re going to experience the greatest unemployment crisis in human history? probably not anytime soon, but don’t be caught unawares when it eventually happens. 1. ACCOUNTANTS AND AUDITORS I’ve been a firm believer that someday Robots would replace accountants – According to the quiz, Accountants and auditors have a 93.5% of being replaced by Robots.

practitioner:Let me be frank - I couldnt't decipher what was going on in the blog, I know it is a legal blog but I couldn't clearly define which is a post and what the categories are as on the homepage you have, interview of the week and quote of the day ( could not tell if these were categories or ...) All in all, try to make your posts stand out, a new reader that doesn't know you would probably be confused as to what is going on in the blog. I also noticed you don't have comments enabled - is this intentional? I think that is all for now . |
Aspireahead:Upon viewing Ogbonge page source, i discovered he uses blogger with the following theme: Blogger Template Style Name: Awesome Inc. Designer: Tina Chen URL: tinachen.org |

lexking10:See what I told you about @RobinHez |

GodMode:I believe FB likes that are paid for is virtually useless (note my opinion) - this is because Facebook forces the ads in your faces till you click and like - so these audiences don't like it because of their own free will - more like a forced will - at the end of the day it would be harder for them to engage with your contents |
GodMode:Hmmn, for you to figure out the 9-5 part, you are really smart - anyways that is my little way of trying to make people be interested in tech |
GodMode:As a result of the nature of my work, I have to read about brands online |
