I'D allow Your mum DIE in order for Your fiancè to live.

For her to have attempted taking someone's life or satisfying her interest at someone else's expense is enough reason to set her ablaze.

BlackBerry, car, house, cow, thong - Forgeraboutdem!!

Do sum'n' meaningful [might even be small/simple ] that will last long in her memory.
Cook her sum'n', have a walk with her, spend that day appreciating her and making her feel special, give her sum'n' simple not necessarily some big gaudy 'nonsense'.

Except she's the 'Give-me' girlfriend, she'D appreciate better, how You treat her to what You give her.

One can never know what the 'other world' is like, unless he's been there.

I have always likened death to sleep.
When asleep, You lose consciousness of what's happening around You and You don't even know You're asleep until You wake up. . . .same goes for death.

To answer Your question  . . .I believe death isn't the end but what happens after that, I don't know, because I've never given it a serious thought 'cause I'D never know, anyway.

MRbrownJAY:
marriage is a whole: destiny AND choice.
there is someone out there for EVERYONE,
Sorry but  marriage cannot be a thing of choice and destiny at same time and what do You mean by ''there's someone out there for everyone''.
Forgive me, prolly I posed ma first question wrongly. I'll rephrase in a way that even a neophyte to easy comprehension would understand without difficulty -
Do You think, the selection of one's spouse is totally based on choice
[any man can marry any woman and his criterion for choosing her doesn't count here and now] or a certain man was made for  certain woman [ to each man, there's a destined woman and whether he finds/accepts her does not count, here and now]?

MRbrownJAY:
if the right person happens to have "wrong issues" then he obviously aint the right one. . . . .
I'll come to this part but before then, let's tackle this . . . .

MRbrownJAY:
everything has to be RIGHT and only then will you KNOW that they are the one. a person ought to know it in their guts/mind.
What does 'Right,' imply here?
Do You mean, when one has an inner conviction that they are with the 'Right' person, then, they certainly are with the right person?
Example : X is convinced Y is the right one for him, therefore, Y is the right one for X?

If yes, then, I disagree totally.
The actual reason for ma numerous questions was to question Your comment, talking about ability to Know that one is with the right one.
This, is ma stance - You can never KNOW if You're with the right or wrong one . . . .We can only think we Know

MRbrownJAY:
everything has to be RIGHT and only then will you KNOW that they are the one.
Quoting this part of Your comment, again . . . .Everything can never be right. Hence, the reason for the existence of the famous quote - ''Nuffin/ No one is perfect''. Just 'cause there are faults doesn't make the person the wrong one and just 'cause everything seems 'Right'/smooth, doesn't make the person the Right one.

You still want us to carry this further?
Start by expounding what it means to be the ''Right'' one.

Some questions for You, MrbrownJay . . .

MRbrownJAY:
they dont and thats why they shouldnt get married at the first place. marrying any guy/gal out there that is as good as any other is a waste of time and that marriage will always be tested!
Do You think marriage is a thing of choice or destiny? I.e - Is there a certain woman made for a certain man or any man just chooses any woman [the benchmark for choosing her is irrelevant, here].

MRbrownJAY:
its not about marrying someone because you think they are the right one  but its about marrying someone because you KNOW that they are the one.
How do You know someone is the right one for You?

UPDATE!!!

Why I Fought Patience Ozuokwor - Mercy Johnson

Actress Mercy Johnson who was reportedly in a showdown with her older colleague, Patience Ozokwor on location in Asaba few weeks back, has blamed her uncontrollable outburst on Ozokwor’s repeated utterances referring to her as an ‘ashawo’- a hoochie.

In a telephone interview, Mercy recounted her side of the story. She noted that Patience Ozokwor was given a revealing clothe to wear on that location, apparently to depict a character in the movie that was in the making and Patience allegedly refused the outfit, stating that she is not Mercy Johnson, not an ‘ashawo’.

“I’m not a love-peddler. I don’t like the name. I told her I didn’t like it”. According to her, the faceoff was escalated when Mama Gee refused to stop calling her by unpleasant name.

By last week, there were unconfirmed reports that the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) might take a disciplinary action against Mercy Johnson and Patience Ozokwor but when we contacted the AGN president, Segun Arinze via SMS, he simply stated that the issue has been sorted out in-house.

The text message read “Hello sir, I just want to know if the AGN is taking any disciplinary action against Mercy Johnson and Patience Ozokwor”.

“No it’s sorted out. Thanks”, he replied. Arinze would not comment further.

Arinze, sources said, has instructed both parties not to make any further comments on the matter.

EntertainmentRe: There Is Nothing Like Hellfire by MissyB1(m): 1:57pm On May 30, 2010
Ikibeh:
@ Missy B,  and all y'all unbelievers,  Please read and don't be deceived,

"And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever." (Revelation 20:10)

How many times have I heard someone say, "A loving God wouldn't put His creatures in hell." Well I have news for you, friend, God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (II Peter 3:9). Know ye not that hell was not created for man? Hell was created for the devil and his angels--

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, PREPARED FOR THE DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS. (Matthew 25:41)

Think about this, God, out of profound love for you--a vile sinner who has transgressed His commandments--let His own beautiful, dear Son be sacrificed for YOUR sins! Jesus wasn't a sinner. He didn't sin one time. He didn't die for Himself. He died for you. To save YOU. That's why He is called the Saviour. Because He SAVES from hell! If you reject His sacrifice and trod it underfoot it should not be too hard for you to understand that the same God who sacrificed His beloved Son will expeditiously cast your rebellious hind parts into hell and the lake of fire. NOTHING unclean will ever enter God's heaven--and all unregenerate people are unclean. I too was once dead in trespasses and sins, but one lovely day I turned my face to Jesus and got washed in the blood. You can too--no matter what you've done.

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18
Mr, I appreciate Your effort to make us see the light in this issue. However, need I make it clear, that I am a Christain, a believer of the God of the Bible and I believe the reality of Heaven and hell. Whoever fails to believe this, will eat his doubts back on that day. The only issue I wanted clarified is ''Hell is not eternal but lasts for just 1000 years'' , according to 'Adebo4all'. . . .I disagree with that part until it's verified with a Bible verse. Christ will reign on earth with us for 1000 years not sinners being in hell for just 1000 years.

In fact, he said sum'n' honorable - ''I apologize in advance if its later  dispelled''.
NL is a big forum and everything is meant to be discussed - from Lies to rumours to facts to truths to belief to fiction to knwledge- and that's where the fun lies.
