Talk to your baby and sing to her. The first few days of babies lives is not easy for both mother and child.

For her navel, at hospital we were told to clean it with spirit until it falls. That's what I did and after it fell off I continue to clean with spirit until it healed completely.

For the rash, I use baby tribotan, I don't put it in her virginal ooooo. I apply on her bumbun and around her veejay. When my mum bath my baby she doesn't use ori in the veejay, the veejay cleans itself, just ensure you clean around the clotis and my mum usually use her finger to press the around down because it's swollen. It is better now. You can apply some of it on her face where the rash is. And it will clear. That's what I do whenever I see rash on her face.

I wish my milk flow is as good as yours I won't buy formula. My baby is 10weeks today and she has finished 5 Aptamil formula, we are on the sixth one now. Just express and store in storage bottles, if you have fridge, keep in the fridge. You need to invest in storage bottles. As your baby is still adjusting to flow of the breast milk. If it rushes too much, just pump and feed her. This stage too shall pass. It is well mama. My girl too didn't use to sleep at night but now she sleeps as long she has eaten.

Babies make faces when they want to poop, or mess. Imagine my girl makes sounds whenever she passes out gas and to poop too. If the poop is strong, I help her by giving her water and apply vasline inside her anus using cotton bud and immediately you see her making the face to push the poop out. Mama you are doing a great a job.!!!

Please don't touch it and dont press it. It will go down on its own. Just give baby pcm for the pain. That's what i did. Wear baby light clothes as she or he is in pain. Kplele

Mamas please help me, I gave my one month old baby Similac and she has been vomiting and stooling, we took her to hospital yesterday, the doctor said shes reacting to the food that she will be fine once the food is no longer in her system. He doesn't want to prescribe any drugs because shes too small to be given all these antibiotics. We should go home and monitor her, that she's going to be fine as long as she's not running temperature. Now she's still stooling and looking weak, I don't know what to do.

So sorry mama, did you change her milk brand? Or this is the first time shes taking formula aside from breast milk? Please if you did, go and look for the old brand and give to your baby and the stooling will stop. Babies react to change of fomula. And if its not, her system doesn't like the formula.

We’ve never used anything on her skin apart from her normal Baby products we’re currently using nycil products after trying seabamed and aveno thinking she was reacting to the products but it’s obvious it isn’t a case of reaction she’s on exclusive and mother even placed herself on diet just to see if it was what she was eating but yet it keeps going and coming she’s currently using only coconut oil now but the yeye rashes keeps going and coming back

Whenever i notice rash on my baby's body that means two things, the covering is causing her to sweat and she needs to wear light clothes during the day. I never use baby cream on my baby. What my mum always use is udaki... Palm kernel oil. Her skin is smooth.
The baby product i bought ia johnson liquid soap no more tears, nycil lavender (dusting powder) and nycil normal powder, johnson baby oil for babys hair.

For heat rash use baby tribotan and i mix the nycil dusting powder with normal nycil powder so that it won't be hot on baby's skin. It works like magic.

Hello mummies, my 3 months plus DD has been having this rashes on her chest and upper left arm few weeks after birth. It will clear off at some point and return on that exact spots few days after. At this moment we are on it again and her face has joined this time around.
Apart from these areas, her skin is very smooth and shiny and she’s never had diaper rash even though we change brands every now and then. Please, help me out. I need permanent solution. She uses Sebamed baby body wash and body milk

Go buy baby tribotan apply it in the affected area, and apply nycil powder. It will clear in few days. That's what i use for baby rash and its gone

I really wish I could do exclusive, but baby is a really chop chop baby, maybe it's because of her weight o, I don't know. Some say baby will adjust to d amount of breast milk I can produce, while others say, including my mum says breast milk isn't enough. What do I do now?

How is the night watch going?

Finally my night watch is over as chairman don sleep. Una good morning 2:23 am

Na wa ooo. Nne my own starr by 10pm till 1am. Baby just dey cry and complain. My mum and hubby sing tire, for where, na me she dey find. I just carry arrange her beside me and give her breast.
There's this soothing songs for babies my hubby played it for her when she was crying na so the babe just shut up, before we knew na sleep level.

Please where is our BS!!!!

I don't think the coconut therapy is for sleeping but colic on babies. Bobo sleeps well at afternoon and keep wake mostly at night , he will be shinning eye looking at your face.

See my daughter boy friend e be like say them plan am oooo. Na so for night she go dey look you after eating 120ml. Sleep na problem. Once i lay her down and off the light. She will start shouting so i go just jejely on the light back dey look her too.

Welcome to Moherhood!!!! It is a thing of joy ooooo. Na the vigil be that oooo. My baby did same for 1week i didnt sleep the migraine wey come dey do me no be small. Nne as she's sleeping, you too start to sleep your own too. My DD when its 9pm even after taking formula, she will not sleep until I put my nipple in her mouth. She will. Sleep with it. So what i do is arrange her beside me, place a high cloth on place my breast on it to face her mouth as shes sucking me am. Sleeping, when shes done, ahe remove her mouth from my nipple!!!! This is every night oooo so imagine. Dont worry we will get use to it!!!

Abeg leave that baby alone. Don't give any drug is your baby's nose is not dulling with catah and breaths with his nose. Your baby is fine. It will stop in due time. My baby started the nosy breathing stuff at 12 days went to the clinic for 6weeks appointment, doc said i should leave it alone and oga google said same thing

Mixed feeding i assume is formula and breast milk. Please give your baby water to aviod constipation.

1. i thought during immunization, they suppose to check my baby weight? when we went for six weeks, i noticed they didn't check. After dismissal, i insisted i want to know my DS weight and the nurse reluctantly did it for me. Then last week i went for 10weeks, that same nurse flared up oo, that is it because he checked for me last time i came? that i should nt ask her that again. Not that i sleep with my nipple in her mouth, am half asleep and awake. Once the nipple is out of her mouth and she's sleeping. I will pick her and lay her inside the cot on the bed.

It's official! I am now a nocturnal human being all thanks to bobo. He sleeps well for hours at daytime but keeps watch at night. The annoying thing with this watch is that i must keep it with him if not na shouting straight.

My baby too will sleep for hours during the day when it's 8pm na so her eye go shine like touch. I discovered whenever shes sucking breast na sleep mode activated and since me am sleepy and make she no fall. From my hand, i arrange and lay her beside me and give her breast. It works for me. I get little sleep

Count your self lucky. It's not a wonderful experience. I didn't experience it except for headaches and painful boobs.

I wore gown and used disposal panties and the pant line was below my incision. Don't wear tight clothes for now. Allow the cut to heal. You should be able to breastfeed after the first day. I tried breastfeeding a day after delivery, its not easy with the cut and pains etc but you will be able to manage. Since i heard that women with cs delivery it takes times for their milk to flow, i bought aptamil as part of hospital items went there with flask and feeding bottle. Make my baby no starve. Since all bodies are not the same, your breast milk may flow faster than mine.

Abeg make una help me. Oooo. See my lo dey always poo after every feed whether breast milk or formula. The poo is like egusis. My mum don tire sef.

@Habbeyoluwa dont worry your baby is so close!!!! You will hold lo very soon. My twin said kpekus help her get contraction and hasten the contraction sef. But the one that one worked when she was tired of being pregnant she walked from Lawanson to Ijesha. When she got home she started having contraction. Na long distance walk she do oooo not easy but e work wella.

Mumsie gave her formula 120ml at 9pm she finish am ooo. Aunty sleep na, for where she just dey look. I say ok make i sleep since you never dey sleep, the babe begin cry ooo i had to lie her beside me and give her breast so that i can sleep too cos if i sit up to breast feed her, she fit fall from my hand and i don't want that. Na my nipple the babe hold for hwr mouth from 9pm to 1:30am. If i remove the nipple see shout. Now she's awake again crying for my breast.

@Preeteejoe mh doctor said the more you give her to suck the more breast milk flow. My flow is better than before and baby is still on aptamil. If you have big boobs like mine lactating is not easy compared to small boobs. Drink more warm water, take pap, rest and make baby to suck the breast. You will see change. My baby sucks at night so i give my breast at from 10pm till 2am, aptamil then from 4am to 10am na breast. And i give her breast first when she's not satisfied i give her aptamil. The more she sucks the breast, the more milk production
