Abeg which one is natural family planning? I react to condoms. I want a FP asap but I'm scared of the hormonal method based on some reviews I've heard. Auntyflow just showed up after 10 months post delivery, lemme quickly fasten my seatbelt before I return here n start peeping lol

Natural Family Planning is billings method. Where you monitor your cycle to know when you are fertile or not. That billings method no go work for me oooo. I have irregular menses. 10days sometimes 8 days how i want take monitor this one. I just use condom or abstain from kpekus completely. I no want stories that touch.

I Google the iud thats copper T that's what my twin is using and it's working for her.

Do sitz bath(sit in warm water(not hot o, comfortable enough for you to tolerate ) add salt and dettol/savlon.

Stay off trousers, wash your pants with disinfectant/change them and iron them
Ensure cotton pants

I will advise you use disposal pants till the infection is gone

My baby is 7days old, kindly recommend a good bathing set(soap and cream) she is fair for now and currently using ASDA baby soap but it's giving her rashes.

Use Johnson no.more tears liquid soap. That is what am using for my baby. If your baby has rash, apply baby tribotan on it and mix nycil prickly heat with a normal powder and apply on his body. The rash will stop. That is what am using for my baby's rash and it has disappeared

@Agbgift please if you giving your baby formula kindly give him water to help reduce constipation. It happen to my baby too. I gave her water since the breast milk was not flowing well and i cant leave my baby hungry. I gave her water and the strong poo stopped. I do give her breast and formula now. Her poo was yellow and strong and she didn't poo for a day and half and i was worried. Whenever she tried to poo she ends up crying and nothing was coming out because it was strong for her. I Google and oga google said i should use vaseline. I took one cotton bod insert inside vaseline and put inside her anus not deep ooo just at the entrance and moved it in circular motion and see your baby will try to push the poo out.

Also take lots of water as it helps your baby's poo. I don't give her water often so her poo is like eguisi now or sometimes paste. Its not hard anymore as my breast milk flow is better than before.

Nne i can relate ooooo. Me i dey fear too since my own na cs and i no wan hear say something enter there until 2021. Make my body recover from this one wey I just do.

@kaffy4bill please i need your advise. Kpekus ministry dey on hold but the hold no strong as DH is not comfy. My problem is what kind of contraceptive can i use. Me am scared cos i removed large fibroids in 2017 before my miracle baby came in 2018 and i dont want any stuff that will cause the fibriods to rear ita ugly head again. Abeg what can i use biko nu?

Mama kaffy4bill please hope baby weight of 2.7kg @ 39weeks is OK? Nd can there be a mistake in scan weight? Tho I av always wanted a small baby, but upon all my chop chop nd cravings I was marveled at my last scan result for his weight..

The scan fit no lie ooo. My last scan at 35weeks said my baby weight 1.8kg and it was right because i started eating like kilode. Ah baby must be big but in the end baby was 2.6kg. Baby no big oooo so no fear 2.7kg no big if you dont want a big baby since it's virgina delivery. Don't worry baby will not give you weight you cannot push e hear!!!!

It will definitely end in praise!!!!!!

Good morning everyone, I just put to bed close to two weeks now though initially I was using coconut oil for my bibty but just few days I switched to funbact a and ori (mixed together) (advice from experienced mother that it helps maintain baby's skin as am a ftm) . Just this morning I came across post online saying funbact a as cream for new born is bad and can cause irritation and the likes. Pls Sabi mamas how true is that

Please stop using funbat a for your baby its harsh na. Funbat a wey dey make me fair, that thing dey bleach skin na. What i use for my baby is native palm kernel oil,baby tribotan for her bum to aviod or remove any rash. Baby wey go fair, go fair and the baby wey go dark go dark oooo. Please stop using that cream for my baby abeg

@primadonnachika firstly the househelp is under age, dont put your family into problems with the law, child labour. Please get a help that is above 18 years and not from. Anyone, from a reliable agent that has done background checks
Also you need to do your own checks too to aviod stories that touch.

Abeg take am easy. His was born with it. Na from belle the boy no like food at all. My twin when she was pregnant, she will stay for hours without eating and she wont feel hungry. Na she dey force self to eat. As the boy when he came out nko suck breast na problem, time for pap nko, if you give him he will. Throw up,. My twin got tired.. When he was 4 years old, the boy dey sick and he refused to eat, after eating the little one wey manage enter, my guy threw it up, my twin carry cane, na be born you, you cabt kill me oooo. Mama's with picky eaters, any improvement? Biko I'm tired, even her teachers are complaining. If it's possible she'll give her food to her brother who'll gladly take it to either eat or play with it, she'll do it. Like who packs food in her mouth for long until you tell her to chew it bikonu.

See my nephew wife oooo. Hes 6 and still holds food in his mouth. Give him his breakfast, if you dont threaten him with cane, he will eat till 2pm ie time to. Eat lunch oooo. His teachers too where complaining so his mum instructed that the threaten or flog him to eat his food. He dey fear cane... But hes improving sha!!!

Good morning mommies. Happy new month. Na so team july geepee tank take catch me. It ll end with praise. Amin. I came back frm the clinic last night after spending a night. I went for antenatal on saturday and after conducting VE on me. They told me to come back in the evening with my bag cos i was 2cm. I started feeling contraction but they were far apart and nt painful. I slept till around 3am yesterday, then the contraction became stronger but still far apart. Another VE was conducted but i wasnt progessing tho cervix has soften. I was there till yesterday evening, no contraction and was sent back home. No strong contraction but nt comfortable. what do i do? i am tired o

Start walking, long distance walk sometimes helps the contraction to progress

Congratulations mama!!!! Please take fruits, vegatables and lots of fluid to aviod constipation. You need to rest and aviod lifting any heavy stuff untik after 8 weeks or more!!!

This is the part I actually don’t look forward to. If you have a breast pump and you have assistance you can make good use of it now. Maybe pump down for midnight and keep it in the refrigerator etc , that was my pattern then so I didn’t really have sleepless nights

I tried to pump at night nothing came out my baby was crying for food, i was so angry and pissed. What can i do? The milk flow is not fast at all. It drops like drip!!! and the babe is not patient again oooo. Once its not rushing like feeder she will start screaming not crying ooo. I have to give her formula.

Now na this migraine i no understand. I will go to the clinic oooo cos the left side of my head feels heavy when i bend it. I don almost finish a sachet of paracetamol yet i don't think ita working at all!!!!

Will send BS o pregnancy is the first stage,taking care of baby is another one, I can't say I slept for straight 4 hours both in morning and at night.

My own i think i have insomnia wey cause one bad migraine for me now. From 8pm my baby does not sleep after feeding, she will be looking at you woth her eyes wide open till 10pm she start screaming for attention or food. Even after the food at 10pm, till 1am before she go sleep oooo. Then shes awake at 2am crying for food... I will feed her and she will sleep and wake at 3:30am or 4am then i will breast feed her till 7am and the feeding is not enough, i will give her formula and she will sleep till 10am etc etc etc no time to rest except during the day

Abeg i dey wan bad headache wey paracetamol no cure am oooo if i bend my head, it pains me a lot and na the left side of my head ooo. Shey na migraine i go call am ni. Please help oooooo

Yea I'm giving him formula too, though people will not allow me to rest with exclusive breast feeding not knowing what I'm passing through

My plan is exclusive breast feeding but how na when the milk flow is very slow. My baby tire to suck. I don try tire. When she's hungry she dey use my breast sleep fake sleep. Once you drop her, shes awake and screaming. And she will do it all day when do you have time to rest. This night i pump 60ml only from both big breast. When my daughter dey finish 120ml of aptamil . So how do i compete with that, do what you can leave the rest.

How do I recover after CS ?
The dos and don'ts.

You need to rest, do not lift any heavy thing for at least 8 weeks or more. Take plenty of fluid, fruits and vegetables to aviod constipation( this was my problem) i took everything to make my stool soft for where. Recently i discovered that garden egg makes my stool soft so that's what i take now.

Rest ooo. For me i never dey bath yet na rub shine i dey do pending when the cut heals completely. Although doc said i can start to bath weeks ago but after i removed the plaster and saw flesh wound and blood. Those part need to dry up and heal. Because if i bath and get it wet it wilk take a long time to heal.

Take hot water like tea, not the one that will burn your mouth ooo. Stay away from cold drinks for now. If your tommy is still big, you can place hot dry towel on your stomach from time to time and sit on sitz bath when you can. My tommy don reduce ooo. In four months time na flat tommy i dey aim. That's what am doing presently.

Abeg add baby milk to the breast milk. You cannot stress yourself and you don't need stress but rest for adequate milk production.

I don tire oooo i still give her breast first when she cries i know the beast milk is not enough so i give her aptamil. Abeg take am easy oooo.
I hope the milk production will increase over time.

Great!!! After 12days post cs i was still in pain. Had to call a friend that delivered her babies twice through cs. She advise that i sit on sitz bath with hot water, place a hot dry towel on my tommy. I did for two days and the pain disappeared and it helped to bring my tommy into shape. Chunk of dark cloted blood was just coming out after i did it. My tommy no big again oooo. As in i was shocked. Am yet to take my bath cos some part of the stitch is not dry. Na rub and shine until it heals completely.

Am still taking things easy oooo
