Ruby458: Good evening. Please, is the Telegram group still available? I am very interested in learning videography, video editing, everything that has to do with video production. Also, how can I get in contact with you?
No it isnt. But I might try working on it this year. I however still do one on one trainings.
I am trying to pay for something online but figured GTbank has started becoming a pain in my neck. I cant seem to pay in dollars with my naira card any longer. Please guys what platform offers the best dollar virtual cards in Nigeria now?
habsydiamond: I smell inside job here... It can be anybody.. U insisted to be removed from the prepaid meter.. Do you think ur landlord would be happy am not sure about that. The other tenant too won't because as u have been cutoff from the light his or her bill will increase. This can be a way to bring u back into the mix of Reconnection.
So yesterday I posted about my generator and some people thought I was lying and trying to pull attention and saying baseless things like the gen is too dusty. Well, I have decided to create a video for you all to debunk all these unnecessary speculations. But before I do, let me clarify that,
1. I do not use my gen often, maybe once or twice a week and there is harmattan, hence the dust. 2. The person who did this is most likely an engineer who really knows his onions and has probably scouted my residence on several occasions before making his move. 3. It's a flat, this guy could have done this in daylight right before the eyes of my neighbors while I and my family were away. So anyone who saw him would think I probably called him to repair the gen. 4. This gen is my only source of power now, because I asked the landlord to cut my light. He was charging me some crazy bills to recharge a prepaid meter, which he, a neighbor and I share. I have asked for mine and he has been adamant and so I asked him to cut it and I will manage the gen.
It's a painful experience in this economy and I pray no one falls victim, I just feel terrible that I am not buoyant enough to get a new gen or even get my Nepa light reconnected. I stay in Iyana- Ejigbo area, if anyone has a link on how I can get a prepaid meter for my flat, that would be very helpful. Thank you all for your comments.
Bebetter: Everyone... Listen. This exact thing happened to me 2 months ago. My gen was chained in my veranda. Heavy rain fell that morning. I went to on gen in the morning and met the skeleton of the gen still chained. It pained me to my bone. Because i no sleep my room that night. Omo the whole compound hear am for my hand. I scatter everybody, landlord gat to add blocks and broken bottles to the short fence that day. It was devastating to say the least.
It is quite easy to loose for a generator repairer, they are not going to loose the whole thing. They will just loose the 4 bolts of the tank and the 4 bolts of the engine foot attached to the frame.. They took the engine and left the tank for me. E pain me , e pain me.
Leave these people arguing stupidly because my gen is dusty
hardon1: Fake story... Thieves work with time. It will take a thief 10 to 15 mins to dismember the engine from the tank... Coupled with noise it might generate (gen cannot be loosened in utter silence, spanner must make noise and I wonder why poster no hear)
A wise thief would rather go with the whole gen since it isn't chained, rather than take all the risks of decoupling just the engine.
The poster just want attention and the mods definitely fell do it
That's why I feel more pain bro. Because this guy took the time to do this.
Bro think what you want. It is my generator and this happened at my backyard.
sokera: no matter how dusty it is , so the dust can go under engine seat , d dust get power to lift Gen Engine and get the base of the engine dusty… guy think am naw
Bro think what you want. It is my generator and this happened at my backyard. 1. I don't use it all the time 2. I barely get the chance to clean it 3. Its harmattan season for crying out loud.
If you don't believe me, I will send my location in ejigbo so you can come and see for yourself.
This topic has entered frontpage and i cant modify it anymore, if not o would have taken more pics.
My pain is this is my only source of power since I told the landlord to cut my light because of the exorbitant fees he is charging me to load prepaid meter that I am sharing with him and another neighbor.
I am done explaining, if you guys like believe it or not.
If this operation was carried out in the Night.. it would be pretty difficult to remove complete engine..
From the Picture Angle ...where you place generator is too tight to perform this kind of operation...
If this is true ...then i duff my cap for this Technical expertise ...in a short hour and leaving no trace behide...
Clapping
In as much as I am the victim here, I agree with u on this. The guy knows his onions when it comes to gens, for him to have pulled this off with no trace. He even covered back the gen with the nylon
aktolly54: by January those idiot will finished the money they see for the gen ,back to square one. Just leave them to God. Try get another one and becareful this time. In the afternoon if you are not using the gen ,carry it enter your house
Justme13: I can refer you to my village. You will only need to give them between 1k-2K and leave the rest to them. It is called 'Aganju'. The person that did it and any other person that touched the engine after it was stolen will surely die within 7 days. They will swell till they finally die. The problem there is that you can't use(not even touch) the engine if you happen to find it later.
hope4nigeria: oga na lie, to loose coil, loose Engine is no joke. You are lying
Thats the reason this is painful to me, that the person actually took his time to do this and I could not apprehend him, I know it sounds like film but this happened in my place in Ejigbo
oloriooko: This does not look like gen that was worked on to remove such huge and heavy part of it, no engine nor fuel spills, broz your lie pass buhari own
sokera: stop lying … look at the base of the engine seat very dusty , if it’s recent the engine seat will either be clean or black of engine oil … we are not Mumu here abeg pack well
ipobarethieves: U dnt any babalawo. The thieves behind this are within ur neighborhood.Put leg for street,(if u are popular with boys around) u go catch the Baztardz
I no popular for street bro, I dey waka enter my house come out and I moved in February
aktolly54: if you consult those people that worship sango , you won't give them up to 10k before they invoke the sango to find the thief but it has its own effect too. You better let its slide, God will provide money buy another one and always carry it enter your house anytime you are not using it
Hmmm atom of truth in what you have said but maaan this is painful
