[b]Clearly when it comes to making god out to be a liar one needn't look any further than the bible or its subscribers: christians including affiliates. for instance. Although the bible states that god is unchangeable- ie jesus is the same today yesterday and forever or the spirit of god is not one of confusion- we plainly see that the exact opposite is the case. Similiarly god is a spirit of love: and by ones fruits 'we' (the non believers) shall know them, Well, once again god is made out to be a liar because what christians say indeed what the bible states is once again the opposite. Love is apparently patient and kind and so on- and yet one has to ask if thats the case why is it nigh on impossible for christians to demonstrate it- even jesus had a hard time of demonstrating it what with temper tantrums in synogogues and weddings and instead of showing contrition when he got himself lost as a child after a days outing in the big apple he was quite precocious with his attitude to his concerned biological mother. Love is longsuffering- uhuh- My favourite lie in the bible concerning jesus (aside from his prophecies that never came true) and god is regarding the poor. jesus said the poor will always be here and yet it is the very poor that christians want to make unpoor - once again making jesus and god out to be a liar. In this day and age when lying is a christian virtue let alone a full time money making ministry scam one has to ponder what is it about this religion that attracts liars to it like a moth to a flame or a killing jar, ? OLAADEGBU Please note- the title of this thread is not a question. Your blather ignores a lot of facts: the term christian was originally a euphemism used for derision- a put down- an insult- very akin to how muslims, jews and 419ers are percieved in global society today. In short there is nothing good about the label. A christian is supposed to be a follower of god- yet a christian doesn't know gods mind - they only know words written by man that is stemmed from oral and written tradition handed down from judaism and incorporated by catholicism and later protestantism. Christians are basically hypocrites- after all how can they not be hypocrites when their own god and bible admits that the religion- everything about christianity is based upon a lie. If you're going to write - write something that cannot be refuted. Christianity is nothing but the equivalent of Aids. Fortunately there are several cures: Atheism, Agnosticism, World Religions including Paganism. |

Because I've been 'blessed' to dialogue with christians who are the epitome of their mascot- I was wondering what salvation really means to them. And with that in mind I thought it would be appropriate to send jesus a ^5 as well as christendom. I have been summarily moved- nay inspired to write about Jesus. This song (recently uploaded to the following sites below) is my first Praise and Worship entitled "Salvation". Why, I couldn't even kill a fly- the very thought wrenches my heart and at time of writing tears are welling up, are you serious about the black jesus movement- are they based strictly in london or are everywhere? I havent heard of them in cardiff but then i don't keep my ears peeled for anything christian unless it hits the headlines or the new scientist mag. |

The first page has biblical quotes, references and so on that I deliverered (courtesy of the kjv bible), examples of sex and violence. It should be noted at this juncture that, if sex and violence is in one version of the bible- it will also be in all other versions of the bible, you may note at this point that for all your bluster- I am the only one who has brought biblical quotes and references to the table- whilst everyone else has simply done nothing but make obtuse and crass statements- a bit like yours actually, My advice is to actually check before you type something. Just because you're black and uneducated does not mean that it is perfectly acceptable for you or indeed anyone else to let the side down by acting the ignoramus. Image is everything. There is nothing misrepresented in any of my posts: I have done as required and posted biblical verses to prove my point as well as online references: I can quite easily produce bibliography from scholars if so required. If it comes down to it I can upload my Desktop Library to this forum as long as the bandwidth can manage the file size. No doubt you are influenced by Amphetamine Logic after all- anyone who writes verbiage as stunningly as yours, as well as presumes to know my state of mind, not to mention claim they have a higher IQ than I - clearly must be on some thing.
