Education / Re: UK Education Scam by MIZIEYA: 3:15pm On Oct 02, 2006
[b]Blaster - Perhaps its a cultural thing? But I find it useful reading from top to bottom what is required of me as an individual if I need to fill in an application form whether it be a job application or joining some crazy Occult Group like christianity: i always read the fine print. There is so much disinformation about rules and regulations regarding education and visa- its high time some one set the record straight-

I advise everyone to check things properly before making mistakes: regarding money- there is always, always information regarding finances and of course it is going to be non refundable. Its simply a case of either being lazy and not reading the documents sent you or being diligent and clued up on what is actually what.

Read the links below- they are from my own City's University - fabulous Cardiff.

Advice about filling in form VAF1:

- In Section 1 of the form, you are asked to tick to indicate what type of entry clearance you applying for. You should tick the box that says "student"

- Q 5.6 asks you to give the addresses and telephone numbers of all the places where you will be staying whilst you are in the UK. If you do not know exactly where you will be staying yet, do not worry. Students do not have to show that they have accommodation booked before being issued with entry clearance. Students simply have to show that they have enough money to meet likely accommodation costs.

Are you sure you applied to a REAL university?

Religion / Re: Godmen Predating 'jesus' by MIZIEYA: 1:17pm On Oct 02, 2006
[b]There are many dozens of events in the gospels that are very similar, or identical, to incidents which appeared centuries before, in the stories of Pagan hero/saviors. These "god-men" were worshiped by the priesthood and laity of Mediterranean and Middle East religions. This linkage was known by many early Christian writers. They attributed the parallels to Satan. They figured that the devil had influenced the creation of Pagan religions in the centuries before Jesus' birth. The devil had caused those religions to worship saviors whose lives were nearly identical to Jesus'. Satan's purpose was to make a pre-emptive strike against the gospel stories centuries before Jesus was born. The devil would thereby discredit them, using the technique of "diabolical mimicry." Other Christian theologians have taught that Pagan myths were simply "pre-echoes" of Jesus' life -- a form of prophecy or premonition. There are other possible reasons for the linkages.

Modern-day conservative Christians either discount the similarities of gospel and pagan stories, or agree with the assessments of early Christians. Some of the most radical of liberal Christians see Jesus as simply the Jewish equivalent of a Pagan savior, such as the Egyptian Osiris or Greek Dionysus. They view Jesus' biography in the gospels as having been largely lifted from Paganism.

Pagan saviors of humanity:

Pagan spirituality in ancient times from the Mediterranean region was composed of two components:
The Outer Mysteries consisted of Pagan beliefs and practices which were widely disseminated and taught to the general public. Knowledge of these has been preserved in historical records.
The Inner Mysteries were revealed only to those who had been initiated into the Pagan religions. The initiates learned that Osiris-Dionysus was not a historical person. His legends were simple "spiritual allegories encoding spiritual teachings." 1 Late in the 4th century CE, Christianity was established as the state religion. Pagans were given the choice of converting to Christianity, being exterminated or being exiled. Their temples were either stolen for use as Christian churches, or destroyed. Eventually, detailed knowledge of the inner mysteries was lost.

The core of the Outer and Inner mysteries was a mythical, male entity who was part god and part human -- often referred to as a "god-man." The biographies of these god-men were consistent from religion to religion. The main difference among the faiths was his name:
Alexandria: Aion
Asia Minor: Attis
Babylonia: Antiochus
Egypt: Osiris
Greece: Dionysus, Asclepius
Syria: Adonis
Italy: Bacchus
Persia: Mithras

These were viewed as mythical characters. There were also some self-proclaimed god-men -- humans who actually lived on earth. Two are:
Samos, Italy: Pythagoras (569 to circa 475 BCE)
Sicily: Empedocles (circa 450 to 390 BCE)

Osiris in Egypt may have been the first god-man. His story has been found recorded in pyramid texts which were written prior to 2,500 BCE.

These saviors were truly interchangeable. Coins have been found with Dionysus on one side and Mithras on the other. A person who was initiated into one of the mysteries had no difficulty switching to another Pagan mystery religion.

In the 3rd century CE, these godmen were referred to by the composite name "Osiris-Dionysus." Authors Timothy Freke and Peter Gandy have used this term in their book "The Jesus Mysteries." 1

[b]SPECIFIC SIMILARITIES BETWEEN THE LIVES OF JESUS AND KRISHNA

Correspondences between events in Jesus' and Krishna's life:

Author Kersey Graves (1813-1883), a Quaker from Indiana, compared Yeshua's and Krishna's life. He found 346 elements in common within Christiana and Hindu writings. 1 Some selected events are:
#6 & 45: Yeshua and Krishna were called both a God and the Son of God.
7: Both was sent from heaven to earth in the form of a man.
8 & 46: Both were called Savior, and the second person of the Trinity.
13, 15, 16 & 23: Their mothers were holy virgins, who had similar names: Miriam (Mary) and Maia. His adoptive human father was a carpenter.
18: A spirit or ghost was their actual father.
21: Krishna and Jesus were of royal descent.
27 & 28: Both were visited at birth by wise men and shepherds, guided by a star.
30 to 34: An angel issued a warning that the local dictator planned to kill the baby and had issued a decree for his assassination. The parents fled. Mary and Joseph stayed in Muturea; Krishna's parents stayed in Mathura.
41 & 42: Both Yeshua and Krishna withdrew to the wilderness as adults, and fasted.
56: Both were identified as "the seed of the woman bruising the serpent's head."
58: Jesus was called "the lion of the tribe of Judah." Krishna was called "the lion of the tribe of Saki."
60: Both claimed: "I am the Resurrection."
64: Both referred to themselves having existed before their birth on earth.
66: Both were "without sin."
72: Both were god-men: being considered both human and divine.
76, 77, & 78: They were both considered omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent.
83, 84, & 85: Both performed many miracles, including the healing of disease. One of the first miracles that both performed was to make a leper whole. Each cured "all manner of diseases."
86 & 87: Both cast out indwelling demons, and raised the dead.
101: Both selected disciples to spread his teachings.
109 to 112: Both were meek, and merciful. Both were criticized for associating with sinners.
115: Both encountered a Gentile woman at a well.
121 to 127: Both celebrated a last supper. Both forgave his enemies.
128 to 131: Both descended into Hell, and were resurrected. Many people witnessed their ascensions into heaven.

Graves stated that both Krishna and Yeshua were born on December 25. He was in error on this: Krishna is traditionally believed to have been born during August. The festival Janmashtami is held in honor of this birth. The birth day of Jesus is unknown, but is believed by many to have also been about August. December 25th was chosen for Christmas because of a pre-existent Pagan Roman holiday, Saturnalia. December 25th was also recognized in ancient times as the birth day of various other god-men such as Attis and Mithra.

In addition, there are other points of similarity between Krishna and Yeshua:
"The object of Krishna's birth was to bring about a victory of good over evil." 2
Krishna "came onto earth to cleanse the sins of the human beings." 2
"Krishna was born while his foster-father Nanda was in the city to pay his tax to the king." 3 Yeshua was born while his foster-father, Joseph, was in the city to be enumerated in a census so that "all the world could be taxed."
Jesus is recorded as saying: "if you had faith as a mustard seed you would say to the mountain uproot yourself and be cast into the ocean" Krishna is reported as having uprooted a small mountain. 4

Were Krishna and Yeshua both crucified and later risen to heaven?

In addition to the above points of correspondence between Yeshua and Krishna, there may be one more similarity: they may have both been crucified.

In his book, Graves stated flatly that both Yeshua and Krishna were crucified between two thieves, at the age of about 30 to 36 by "wicked hands." However, this may have been wishful thinking. The "common, orthodox depiction of Krishna's death relates that he was shot in the foot with an arrow while under a tree." 5 But:
The author Jacolliot, referring to the "Bagaveda-Gita and Brahminical traditions," states that the body of Krishna: "was suspended to the branches of a tree by his murderer, that it might become the prey of the vultures, [Later] the mortal frame of the Redeemer had disappeared--no doubt it had regained the celestial abodes, " 6
M. Guigniaut's Religion de l'Antiquité, which states: "The death of Crishna is very differently related. One remarkable and convincing tradition makes him perish on a tree, to which he was nailed by the stroke of an arrow." 7
There are other references to Krishna being crucified, and being shown with holes in his feet, hands and side. 5

In the Christian Scriptures (New Testament) Yeshua's crucifixion on a cross or stake is often referred to as being "hung on a tree:"
Acts 5:30: "The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, hanging him on a tree.
Acts 10:39: ", hanging him on a tree."
Acts 13:29: ", they took him down from the tree, "
Galatians 3:13: "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree."
1 Peter 2:24: ", who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, " (All ASV)

Correspondences between beliefs in Hinduism and Christianity:
A future reward in heaven or punishment in Hell.
Hinduism and Catholicism share the concept of Purgatory.
A day of judgment.
A general resurrection.
The need for repentance for sin.
Salvation requires faith in the Savior.
A belief in angels and of evil spirits.
A belief that disease and sickness is caused by evil spirits.
A past war in heaven between good and bad angels.
Free will.
God is considered the "Word of Logos."
Their religious texts talk of "the blind leading the blind," "a new heaven and a new earth, "living water," "all scripture is given by inspiration of God," "all scripture is profitable for doctrine," "to die is great gain," etc.
Fasting forms a part of both religions.
The act of being born again is present in both religions.

Points of similarity between Hinduism and Christianity:
Symbols: The trident -- traditionally carried by the Hindu Goddess Shiva, is somewhat similar to the Christian cross. Adding a vertical horn at both ends of the horizontal bar of a cross will convert it into a trident with three prongs. This actually was done to a Christian cross erected by a Baptist community of 1,200 in Ranalia, India. For decades, the Baptists had annually whitewashed a cross symbol on a large rock in a hill above the town. In early 1999, someone added two horns, turning the cross into a trident. When the smoke cleared (literally) more than 150 mud huts owned by Christians had been gutted by arson. Some named the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party as perpetrators. However, that was denied by the local head of the party. This is a very unusual event, because Hindus in India are known for their unusually high level of religious tolerance. Many Hindus believe that all religion can lead their members to god. 8
The role of water: Most Christians baptize either mature members or infants in the congregation. Sometime this is done by total immersion in water; sometimes by sprinkling water over the individual's head. In the Roman Catholic Church, baptism is a sacrament that washes away the person's original sin. Immersion in water by Hindus is also an important ritual. "Water in Hinduism has a special place because it is believed to have spiritually cleansing powers, In the sacred water distinctions of caste are supposed to count for nothing, as all sins fall away, Every temple has a pond near it and devotees are supposed to take a bath before entering the temple." 9

Religion / Godmen Predating 'jesus' by MIZIEYA: 1:12pm On Oct 02, 2006
[b]Background:

Dionysus, a Greek God, and Osiris, an Egyptian God were viewed as mythical characters. Osiris may have been the first godman. His story has been found recorded in pyramid texts which were written prior to 2,500 BCE. These and other saviors were truly interchangeable.

Life events shared by Osiris, Dionysus and Jesus
The following stories appear both in the Gospels and in the myths of many of the godmen:
Conception:
God was his father. This was believed to be literally true in the case of Osiris-Dionysus; their God came to earth and engaged in sexual intercourse with a human. The father of Jesus is God in the form of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:18).
A human woman, a virgin, was his mother.
Birth:
He was born in a cave or cowshed. Luke 2:7 mentions that Jesus was placed in a manger - an eating trough for animals. An early Christian tradition said that the manger was in a cave.
His birth was prophesized by a star in the heavens.
Ministry:
At a marriage ceremony, he performed the miracle of converting water into wine.
He was powerless to perform miracles in his home town.
His followers were born-again through baptism in water.
He rode triumphantly into a city on a donkey. Tradition records that the inhabitants waved palm leaves.
He had 12 disciples.
He was accused of licentious behavior.
Execution, resurrection, etc:
He was killed near the time of the Vernal Equinox, about MAR-21.
He died "as a sacrifice for the sins of the world." 1
He was hung on a tree, stake, or cross.
After death, he descended into hell.
On the third day after his death, he returned to life.
The cave where he was laid was visited by three of his female followers
He later ascended to heaven.
His titles:
God made flesh.
Savior of the world.
Son of God.
Beliefs about the God-man:
He is "God made man," and equal to the Father.
He will return in the last days.
He will judge the human race at that time.
Humans are separated from God by original sin. The godman's sacrificial death reunites the believer with God and atones for the original sin.

All of the Pagan myths had been circulating for centuries before Jesus birth (circa 4 to 7 BCE). It is obvious that if any copying occurred, it was the followers of Jesus incorporating into his biography the myths and legends of Osiris-Dionysus, not vice-versa.

Religion / Jesus And Christian Symbology by MIZIEYA: 12:54pm On Oct 02, 2006
[b]by Mizieya

ATTENTION:
The following article references female Instruments and female reproductive functions and correlates them with the allegorical life of Jesus and Christian symbolism. If any of this offends you, please leave now and do not read the following piece.

Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
let me hide myself in thee;
let the water and the blood,
from thy wounded side which flowed,
be of sin the double cure;
save from wrath and make me pure.

This beautiful hymn was written in 1776 by Augustus M. Toplady as he sheltered himself during a storm amidst the rocks of Cheddar Gorge in England. He penned the hymn on a deck of playing cards.

In Galatians 3:28 Paul states that in Christ there is no male nor female. And, as with Adam, the gender of Jesus was dual. Adam gave birth to Eve and all humankind through a gash in his side, just as Jesus gave birth to the church through his wound. While beginning life as males both Adam and Jesus were/are intersexual, or hermaphroditic, by function. They represent the range, from female to male, of the sexuality of God.

When the disciple Thomas was confronted by Jesus he would not believe it was Him until he placed his finger within the wound in Jesus' side. The rupture that took place between Jesus and his followers would be healed when they became born again. The imagined unity and wholeness which is shattered when the child realizes that her/his mother is a separate person can now be mended by a second birth that restores this necessary fiction. Woman caused the break with oneness by her very being, Jesus now heals this breach through His wound. Thomas was literally climbing back into the womb.

When the side of Jesus was pierced at the crucifixion the gospels report that blood and water flowed forth. This echoes the water and the blood that issues with the birth of a child. A contemporary Catholic meditation on the passion of Christ is quoted:

From the side of Christ comes the life-giving grace we need to return safely to the Father. In times of temptation and danger, we can hide ourselves in the Side of Jesus, finding strength in the sacraments which flow from that place of salvific grace.

An intercession in the same work:

Jesus, your side was opened by a lance and poured forth blood and water to symbolize the birth of your spouse, the church.

From the movie 'God Told Me To' directed by Larry Cohen

Many Christian theologians believe that it was the piercing of Christ's side that actually killed him, not the crucifixion per se. These attribute more symbolism to that particular wound. Others believe that Jesus was dead already and that it was water that had gathered near his heart that flowed from the wound. This belief allows the believer to maintain anti-Semitic prejudices of Jews as the killers of Christ. (1)

In the same way that women do, Jesus bleeds yet does not die. His blood and water are represented in the sacraments of baptism and communion. While you are born once of woman, you must be born again of Jesus. You are washed by the blood of Jesus.

She's My Sister, She's My Daughter,
The 18th century Moravians of Germany worshipped the side wound of Jesus ('seitenhohlchen,' or 'little side cave'). Within this sect copulation was raised to the status of communion with God, and Jesus was considered the husband of all people, as all souls were considered to be female. Highly sexualized rituals were performed and hymns written in the community. The wounds were described as, "worthy, beloved, miraculous, powerful, secret, clear, sparkling, holy, purple, juicy, close, long-suffering, dainty, warm, soft, hot, and eternal."

The followers were described as those "who feel at home in the Sidehole and crawl in deep." The church was born from the side wound of Christ and at the same time was his bride and wife. (2)

The Christian Fish Symbol
Even today, ordinary Christians routinely make use of the fish symbol, not fully understanding its origin. As with many religious symbols it was coopted from Pagan sources. The symbol of the fish can be found in ancient Chinese, Indian, Egyptian, Greek, Roman and Scandinavian goddess religions. One Greek fish goddess, Aphrodite Salacia, was worshipped on Fridays by followers who ate fish and engaged in sexual activities. This practice, sans the sex, was later appropriated into the Catholic tradition.

The fish symbol consists of two facing crescent moons, representing the waxing and waning of the moon. While the sun generally represented the god, the moon is traditionally a goddess symbol. Additionally it mimics the shape of the vulva, or 'mons veneris.' 'Veneris' comes from 'Venus,' meaning both love and worship. The words 'venereal', 'venerate' and 'reverend' all share this common root. In French, Friday is 'Vendredi', in English Friday, from the Scandinavian name 'Freya', the goddess honored by the eating of fish. (3)

Additionally, the original eucharist included not only bread and wine, but also fish. When Jesus fed the masses he served them bread and fish.

The Lance that Wounded Christ
Cults grew around the relic of the lance that pierced the side of Christ. Several lances competed for the honor of being considered the true lance. One of these, the Spear of Longinus, could be traced to the time of Constantine and had led the charge into many bloody Christian battles. Adolph Hitler believed in the power of this true spear to guarantee the battles of anyone who held it in possession and seized it from the House of Hapsburg. Hitler committed suicide within 80 minutes of its seizure by the United States. (4)

From 'Videodrome' directed by David Cronenberg

The Wound in Contemporary Cinema
Two contemporary movies explore the theme of a generative side wound, Larry Cohen's 'God Told Me To' and David Cronenberg's 'Videodrome.' In 'God Told Me To' an alien Christ figure asks his brother to impregnate him through his wound so that they can generate a super race. For more on this see Lights, Camera, Blasphemy. In Cronenberg's 'Videodrome' the Christ figure Max Wren, played by James Woods, develops a wound which allows him to act as a human VCR, the 'video-word made flesh.' "Long live the new flesh," he cries as he stalks the proprietress of the "Mission of the Cathode Ray Tube." These two movies illustrate the horror associated with depicting a fully female spirituality through the bodies of men.

The Cleansing Wave

Oh, now I see the cleansing wave!
The fountain deep and wide;
Jesus, my Lord, mighty to save,
Points to His wounded side
The cleansing stream I see! I see!
I plunge, and oh, it cleanseth me!
Oh, praise the Lord! It cleanseth me!
It cleanseth me - yes, cleanseth me. (5)

Summary
Patriarchal Christianity met great resistance by peoples who had for millennia worshipped the goddess and female generative powers. In the end Christianity subsumed the powerful symbols of these religions within its own. Jesus showed great compassion to women in his ministry, and in fact his ministry was financed by the women that followed him. It is unlikely that early Christianity was as hostile to women as legalistic churches are today. While contemporary patriarchal dogmas threaten to drown out the voice of Jesus we have but to put our finger in His wound, and believe.

[b]Fact is - its impossible fo the judeo christian god to physically enter this realm of existence- in fact the only Deity who keps making regular appearances in our Realmand who is seen by countless of millions all over the world is Mary- The Mother Goddess, She is known as Ceriddwen, Yemaya, Mut, Inanna, Pessinuntica,

The 'rapture' is controversial: many schools of thought claim that it has already happened circa shortly after jesus exited this world, or they believe that it is a made up doctrine similar to that of the trinity which is not mentioned in the bible, or it will happen pre tribulation or post tribulation, all this speculation by christians negates the bibles words that only christians can understand the bible because they are men and women of god imbued witht he 'holy spirit' - clearly if this were the case- there would be only one (1) theory as opposed to half a dozen theories propogated by christians drinking from the Wishing Well.

Rapture itself is escapism and only lends the believer delusions because reality is too much for them to bear. In saying that: have you written your patronsing Rapture Letter for your loved one? - if not do so then I can add it to my website http://www.ieya.info

Religion / Re: Sex And Violence In The Bible by MIZIEYA: 10:32am On Oct 02, 2006
[b]Genesis 4:1-2 1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord. 2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

The word translated here as "knew" is the Hebrew verb yada which, in this context, could best be rendered in modern English as "had sexual relations with." The next passage relating that Cain "knew" his wife is the one from which we can infer incest, for he would have had to cohabit either with his own mother Eve or with one of his unnamed sisters.

Genesis 4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch. It is only an inference, of course, for it is possible that there existed another couple in the creation fable, but that they were simply omitted from the narrative. Under this hypothesis, Cain would have married one of their daughters.

The fundamentalist explanation is that Jehovah did not see fit to create more than one couple and that the usual eugenic objections to incest simply do not apply here because of the pristine purity of the race at that time. To be sure, incestuous liaisons were to become quite commonplace throughout the Bible. Moses, the great leader of Israel, was himself a son of incest.

Exodus 6:20 And Amram took him Joch'ebed his father's sister to wife: and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of life of Amram were a hundred and thirty and seven years. Surely an omnipotent deity could have avoided even the suggestion of incest by including at least two couples in his plan of special creation and thus precluding any speculation about what has since become the strongest universal taboo.

Many Biblical interpreters of the modern school also see sexual overtones in the expulsion of Adam and Eve from Eden. They insist that their original sin was not just in partaking of the forbidden apple but rather the story of forbidden fruit is simply an allegory for sexual intercourse.

Theologians who oppose this theory of sexual original sin make a persuasive case for their argument by stating that if Jehovah had indeed given the edict to be fruitful and multiply, he would hardly have condemned Adam and Eve for obeying his explicit instructions.

At any rate, the fragmentary and ambiguous narrative leaves room for speculation about incest having occurred either on a mother and son basis (Eve and Cain) or on a brother and sister basis (Cain and his sister). It cannot be ruled out as unlikely since other episodes in the Holy Writ reinforce the notion that there's nothing wrong with incest as long as it's kept in the family,

Leviticus 20:17 And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her unclothedness, and she see his unclothedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's unclothedness; he shall bear his iniquity.

Deuteronomy 27:22 Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother; and all the people shall say, Amen.

Clearly incest is the foundation of the judeo christian religion,

Romance / Re: Virginity-a Crown Of Value Or Old Fashioned Idea by MIZIEYA: 10:24am On Oct 02, 2006
Being a virgin is only applicable to the female of the species- the double standards is quite clear: women are virtuous if their hymen is intact. Men however can dally with a prostitute or any other woman but will expect their wife to be chaste and pure upon marriage.

The bible however is not a good example for moral high ground since it is rife with extra marital affairs and other sexual content related to extra marital activities. Virginity is a new trend circa the church and other patriarchal religions that sought and seek sexual autonomy over our bodies.

[b]More sex and violence in the Bleep rated bible - the phrase: 'knew and entered" means that sexual intercourse took place. in Davids case where he was impotent- it meant he couldn't quite get it up,

Solomon's Song 4:5, 7:3,7 Thy two breast are like, "two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies, , two young roes that are twins, , clusters of grapes."

II Kings 6:28,29 "And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, This woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him to day, and we will eat my son to morrow. So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and I said unto her on the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him: and she hath hid her son."

CASTRATION
Matthew 19:12 "For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it."

CHILD ABUSE
Genesis 22:9&10 "And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son."

EXHIBITIONISM

And he did so, walking naked and barefoot. And the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder upon Egypt and Ethiopia; So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt."

FLAT-CHESTED WOMEN
Solomon's Song 8:8 "We have a little sister, and she hath no breasts: what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken for? If she be a wall, we will build upon her a palace of silver: and if she be a door, we will inclose her with boards of cedar."
GANG-RAPE
Judges 19:24-29 "Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing. But the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth unto them; and they knew her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go. Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man's house where her lord was, till it was light. And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshold. And he said unto her, Up, and let us be going. But none answered. Then the man took her up upon an ass, and the man rose up, and gat him unto his place. And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and sent her into all the coasts of Israel."

HUMAN SACRIFICE
Genesis 22:9,10 "And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son."

IMPOTENCE
I Kings 1:1-4 "Now king David was old and stricken in years; and they covered him with clothes, but he gat no heat. Wherefore his servants said unto him, Let there be sought for my lord the king a young virgin: and let her stand before the king, and let her cherish him, and let her lie in thy bosom, that my lord the king may get heat. So they sought for a fair damsel throughout all the coasts of Israel, and found Abishag a Shunammite, and brought her to the king. And the damsel was very fair, and cherished the king, and ministered to him: but the king knew her not."

MASTURBATION
Genesis 38:8-10 "And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother's wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother. And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. And the thing which he did displeased the Lord: wherefore he slew him also."

1 Thessalonians 4:4,5 "That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:"

MURDER FOR SEX

And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die. And it came to pass, when Joab observed the city that he assigned Uriah unto a place where he knew that valiant men were. And the men of the city went out, and fought with Joab: and there fell some of the people of the servants of David; and Uriah the Hittite died also.

PEDOPHILIA
Numbers 31:18 (Moses to his soldiers) "But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves."

PROSTITUTION

Esther was given by her uncle, Mordecai to the king, Ahasuerus, for his favors to the Jewish people.
Proverbs 31:18 "She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night."

Matthew 1:1-16 Four women are mentioned by name in the geneology of Jesus - Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, and Bathsheeba. Tamar [Genesis 38] disguised herself as a prostitute, and took payment from her father-in-law for sex. Rahab [Joshua 2] was a prostitute who sheltered two Israelite spies.

Luke 7:37-50 "Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little." Though Luke describes the woman as a "sinner," she is commonly treated as a prostitute, as is Mary Magdalene who was also not a prostitute.

Esther 2:12,14 "Now when every maid's turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women, (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours, and with other things for the purifiying of the womenwink In the evening she went, and on the morrow she returned into the second house of the women, to the custody of Shaashgaz, the king's chamberlain, which kept the concubines: she came in unto the king no more, except the king delighted in her, and that she were called by name."

SIZE QUEENS
2 Chronicles 10:10 "And the young men that were brought up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou answer the people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it somewhat lighter for us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My little finger shall be thicker than my father's loins."

Ezekiel 16:26 "Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians thy neighbours, great of flesh; and hast increased thy whoredoms, to provoke me to anger."

Religion / Re: Sex And Violence In The Bible by MIZIEYA: 9:59am On Oct 02, 2006
Backslider: have you not read the bible? Denial is not healthy.

Sex in the Bible

Genesis
1. "And Adam knew his wife; and she conceived." This is the first sexual intercourse mentioned in the Bible. Of course it resulted in a baby boy. 4:1
2. "And Cain knew his wife." That's nice, but where the hell did she come from? The Bible doesn't mention any of Cain's sisters. Well, maybe he married his mom. In any case, Cain and the mysterious Mrs. Cain have a son (another blue cigar!). His name is Enoch and he builds a city (population 3). 4:17
3. "And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son." Way to go Adam! 4:25
4. "There were giants in the earth in those days." And they had sex with "the daughters of men." 6:4
5. The "just and righteous" Noah (6:9, 7:1) plants a vineyard, gets drunk, and lies around naked in his tent. His son, Ham, happens to see his father in this condition and has sex with him. When Noah sobers up and hears "what his young son had done unto him" he curses not Ham, who "saw the unclothedness of his father," but Ham's son, Canaan. "A servant of servants shall he [Canaan] be unto his brethren." 9:20-25
6. Poor Pharaoh couldn't resist the "very fair" Sarai, and he takes her into his harem. (She must have been well preserved, since she was about seventy years old at the time.) 12:15
7. Sarai is the first of a long line of barren women who were desperate for children. (In the Bible, it is the women who are barren, never the men.) She sends Abram into her handmaid, Hagar, so that she can "obtain children by her." Abram gladly complies. 16:1-4
8. God establishes his covenant with Abram: "This is my covenant , every man child among you shall be circumcised. And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin." It seems that joysticks are supremely important to god. 17:10-11
9. Lot refuses to give up his angels to the perverted mob, offering his two "virgin daughters" instead. He tells the bunch of angel rapers to "do unto them [his daughters] as is good in your eyes." This is the same man that is called "just" and "righteous" in 2 Pet.2:7-8. 19:8
10. Lot and his daughters camp out in a cave for a while. The daughters get their "just and righteous" father drunk, and have sexual intercourse with him, and each conceives and bears a son (wouldn't you know it!). Just another wholesome family values Bible story. 19:30-38
11. "The Lord visited Sarah" and he "did unto Sarah as he had spoken." And "Sarah conceived and bare Abraham a son." 21:1-2
12. Abraham makes his servant put his hand under his thigh while swearing to God. Weird. Of course "putting his hand under his thigh" is just a polite euphemism for "holding his testicles in his hand." Come to think of it, maybe it isn't so weird at all -- coming as it does from a god that is completely obsessed with male Instruments. (See Ex.4:25, Lev.15:16-18, 32, and Dt.23:1) for just a few examples.) I guess it's sort of like swearing on the bible. 24:2, 24:9
13. "And the damsel was fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her." (Oh boy!) 24:16
14. Unfortunately the king "looked out a window, and saw, behold, Isaac was sporting with Rebekah his wife." But Isaac grew rich from the lie anyway, just as his father had. 26:8
15. Jacob is tricked by Laban, the father of Rachel and Leah. Jacob asks for Rachel so that he can "go in unto her." But Laban gives him Leah instead, and Jacob "went in unto her [Leah]" by mistake. Jacob was fooled until morning -- apparently he didn't know who he was going in unto. Finally they worked things out and Jacob got to "go in unto" Rachel, too. 29:21-30
16. "Give me children or else I die." Rachel considers herself worthless if she cannot produce children for her husband. But luckily she has an idea. She says to Jacob, "Behold my maid Bilhah, go in unto her." She solved the problem the same way as did Sarah (16:2). "And Jacob went in unto her. And Bilhah coneived, and bare Jacob a son." (These arrangements never seem to produce daughters.) 30:1-4
17. Rachel trades her husband's favors for some mandrakes. And so, when Jacob cam home, Leah said: "Thou must come in unto me, for surely I have hired thee with my son's mandrakes. And he lay with her that night." Presumably God, by telling us this edifying story, is teaching us something about sexual ethics. 30:15-16
18. Dinah, the daughter of Jacob, is "defiled" by a man who seems to love her dearly. Her brothers trick all of the men of the town and kill them (after first having them all circumcised), and then take their wives and children captive. 34:1-31
19. "Reuben went and lay with his father's concubine." I wonder why God wants to tell us about it. Maybe he figures that "inquiring minds want to know." 35:22
20. "And Judah saw there a daughter of a certain Canaanite , and he took her, and went in unto her. And she conceived, and bare a son; and she called his name Er. And she conceived again [I guess Judah must have went in unto her again] and bare a son; and she called hi name Onan." (It seems that the probability of having a biblical daughter is considerably less than 50%.) 38:2-4
21. After God killed Er, Judah tells Onan to "go in unto they brother's wife." But "Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and , when he went in unto his brother's wife , he spilled it on the ground, And the thing which he did displeased the Lord; wherefore he slew him also." This lovely Bible story is seldom read in Sunday School, but it is the basis of many Christian doctrines, including the condemnation of both masturbation and birth control. 38:8-10
22. Tamar (the widow of Er and Onan, who were killed by God) dresses up as a prostitute and Judah (her father-in-law) propositions her, saying: "Let me come in unto thee , And he , came in unto her, and she conceived by him." From this incestuous union, twins (38:27-28) were born (both were boys of course). One of these was Pharez -- an ancestor of Jesus (Lk.3:33). 38:13-18
23. After Judah pays Tamar for her services, he is told that she "played the harlot" and "is with child by whoredom." When Judah hears this, he says, "Bring her forth, and let her be burnt." 38:24
24. Joseph is seduced by Potiphar's wife. He rejects her advances, but she claims he "came in unto" her. 39:7-18
25. God promised to bring Jacob safely back from Egypt (Gen.46:3-4), but God doesn't keep his promise and Jacob dies in Egypt. 49:27
26. Jacob says that Reuben will "not excel" because he "went up to [his] father's couch [had sex with his father's wife]." (see Gen.35:22) 49:4

Exodus
27. God decides to kill Moses because his son had not yet been circumcised. Luckily for Moses, his Egyptian wife Zipporah "took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me. So he [God] let him go." This story shows the importance of joysticks to God, and his hatred of foreskins. 4:24
28. Moses, like a coach giving instructions to the team before the big game, tells the men to "come not at your wives" before he goes up to Mt. Sinai. 19:15
29. God tells the priests not to go up the steps to the altar "that thy unclothedness not be discovered thereon." (Skirts on stairs are a problem.) 20:26
30. "Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death." Is it really necessary to kill such people? Couldn't we just send them to counseling or something? 22:19
31. Aaron makes a golden calf and tells the people to take off their clothes and dance around naked. God then punishes them mercilessly for following their divinely appointed religious leader. 32:1-35
32. "Their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods." God always blames the women; it is they who "go a whoring" and then "make" the men "go a whoring." 34:16

Leviticus
33. Long, tiresome, and disgusting instructions regarding the treatment of men who have a "running issue" out of their "flesh." Very enlightening. "And if he that hath the issue spit upon him that is clean , " 15:2-15
34. This passage tells you what to do if you get your "seed of copulation" on yourself, your clothes, or your partner. Thank God this is in the Bible. 15:16-18, 32
35. Don't "uncover the unclothedness" of any of your relatives or neighbors. Just ask them to keep their clothes on while you are around. 18:6-18, 20
36. "Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her unclothedness, as long as she is apart for her uncleanness," Don't even look at a menstruating woman. 18:19
37. Don't "lie with any beast." You probably weren't planning on doing this, but now you know just in case you get the urge sometime. 18:23
38. Don't "go a whoring" after Molech or "commit adultery with him." (Don't you love it when God talks dirty?) 20:5
39. Stay away from people with familiar spirits and don't "go a whoring" after them either. 20:6
40. If you "lie" with your wife and your mother-in-law (now that sounds fun!), then all three of your must be burned to death. 20:14
41. If a man or woman "lie with a beast" both the person and the poor animal are to be killed. 20:15
42. Don't have sex with your sister, uncle's wife, or your brother's wife -- and tell them to wear clothes whenever you're around. 20:17, 19-21
43. "Neither shall he [the priest] profane his seed among his people." (His seed is holy.) 21:15
44. A man with damaged testicles must not "come nigh to offer the bread of his God." 21:20
45. A man who has a "running issue" or "whose seed goeth from him" , "shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean." 22:3-5 -->

Deuteronomy
46. If you see a pretty woman among the captives and would like her for a wife, then just bring her home and "go in unto her." Later, if you decide you don't like her, you can "let her go." 21:11-14
47. If a man marries, then decides that he hates his wife, he can claim she wasn't a virgin when they were married. If her father can't produce the "tokens of her virginity" (bloody sheets), then the woman is to be stoned to death at her father's doorstep. 22:13-21
48. "If a man be found lying with a woman married to a husband, then they shall both of them die." 22:22
49. If a betrothed virgin is raped in the city and doesn't cry out loud enough, then "the men of the city shall stone her to death." 22:23-24
50. If a man rapes an unbetrothed virgin, he must pay her father 50 shekels of silver and then marry her. 22:28
51. "A man shall not take his father's wife, nor discover his father's skirt." 22:29
52. You can't go to church if your testicles are damaged or your penis has been cut off. 23:1
53. God lays down the law regarding wet dreams. "If there be among you any man that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night , " 23:10
54. If a man dies without having a child, his brother shall "go in unto" his dead brother's wife. If he refuses, the dead man's wife is to loosen his shoe and spit in his face. 25:5-10
55. If two men fight and the wife of one grabs the "secrets" of the other, "then thou shalt cut off her hand" and "thy eye shall not pity her." 25:11-12
56. "Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife, because he uncovereth his father's skirt." (Why?) 27:20
57. "Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast: and all the people shall say, Amen." 27:21
58. "Cursed be he that lieth with his sister , And all the people shall say, Amen." 27:22
59. "Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law: and all the people shall say, Amen." 27:23

63. "Then went Samson to Gaza, and saw there an harlot, and went in unto her." 16:1
64. After taking in a traveling Levite, the host offers his virgin daughter and his guest's concubine to a mob of perverts (who want to have sex with his guest). The mob refuses the daughter, but accepts the concubine and they "abuse her all night." The next morning she crawls back to the doorstep and dies. The Levite puts her dead body on an ass and takes her home. Then he chops her body up into twelve pieces and sends them to each of the twelve tribes of Israel. 19:22-30

69. Boaz "goes in unto" Ruth and she conceives a son (King David's grandfather). Ru.4:13

1 Samuel
70. "And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the Lord remembered her [he probably said something like, "Oh yeah, she's the one whose womb I shut up."]. And Hannah conceived and "bare a son [Oh boy, another boy!], and called his name Samuel." 1:19-20
71. "And the Lord visited Hannah [again], so that she conceived." Did he get her pregnant in the usual way? 2:21
72. The sons of Eli had sex with women "at the door of the tabernacle." 2:22
73. David kills 200 Philistines and brings their foreskins to Saul to buy his first wife (Saul's daughter Michal). Saul had only asked for 100 foreskins, but David was feeling generous. 18:25-27
74. Saul gets a bit carried away with his prophesying "and he stripped off his clothes , and lay down naked all that day and night. Wherefore they say, Is Saul also among the prophets?" (But see 1 Sam.10:11-12 for another story explaining the origin of this famous proverb.) 19:24
75. The priest tells David that he and his men can eat the "hallowed" bread if "they have kept themselves at least from women." David assures the priest that they have and that "the vessels of the young men are holy." So it'd be OK for them to eat the holy bread. 21:4-5

Are you sure that's the resume of Jesus? It sounds like the resume of Osiris, Mithras and other male god men,
You may wish to change the references of Ephesisans and other books since jesus wasn't alive after the four gospels and he certainly wasn't alive or a twinkle in his sky daddy's eyes in the old testament: for further reading try the Hebrew Tanach and Torah for confirmation. In fact there is no proof that jesus existed at all excep for hearsay and need I remind you that because of the Council Of Nicea jesus was barely voted as a god,

Strange to have to have a vote on whether jesus or john doe is a god
Computers / Re: Where To Get Software For A Macintosh? by MIZIEYA: 9:40am On Oct 02, 2006
[b]Gamine: Welcome to the iMAC Universe.

There should be an Apple Store in your vincinity or in a major city, failing that: your apple computer has a silver '@' icon (with springs ) in the dock on your desktop- click that icon and it will take you to the mac download page.

http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/

I would not bother with any other webpage unless it is specifically for the imac - stores like PC world and so on have very little mac software and even less ability to handle software/hardware and computer technical support. The link I gave you gives you ways and means to contact technical support via email or phone- the mac itself is simple to operate: but even though the new version of Leopard has the ability to use pc software- I would be wary of it since pc software ultimately will make your mac vulnerable to viruses and so on.

I use an apple G4 and am still debating whether to upgrade and buy the New Model - I might well do it next year once there are more compatible software available: my advice re-browsers- get rid of safari- its actually quite useless Mozilla Firefox or Camino are better browsers - you will find a lot of websites may work well with Safari but theres a lot of functions that simply won't appear because Safari is not equipped with up to date functions: for instance if you use aol black voices forums - you won't be able to use the edit tool because it doesn't show on Safari- whereas with Camino or Firefox- its there. A lot of webpages just don't acknolwedge Safari period.

Hope this has been useful.[/b]
Religion / Sex And Violence In The Bible by MIZIEYA: 9:14am On Oct 02, 2006
[b]Hello.

The Bible is inundated with sexual and violent imagery from the book of Genesis to Revelation. Christian pornography has a long and illustrious history. During the "burning times" church-commissioned depictions of Hell included blatantly pornographic images, naked men and women for instance, staked to the ground writhing in agony while wild animals devoured their genitals. These images surely mirrored the psycho-sexual tortures perpetrated against the citizenry by the church inquisitors. Graphic visions of Hell continue to dominate the Christian sexual imagination today. The love and grace of Christ is too tame for the jaded, sex-obsessed minds of most Christians.

Beginning in the 70s garish blood-soaked posters extended the Christian pornographic repertoire. Existing as the sole articulation of many Christians' "pro-life" sentiments, their more verbose counterparts managed to describe in gore-saturated detail the atrocities of "partial birth" abortion, Chinese fetus-eating, and abortion-mobiles roaming the countrysides of the Orient brutally ravishing the privates of helpless protesting women. Meticulously detailed violence substitutes for sex, satisfying an ever prurient, yet repressed, audience.

There are no better porn writers than the authors of the Bible. Consider the unbridled eroticism of the Song of Solomon. Or if you want hardcore smut, incest, rape, sexual mutilation, voyeurism, watersports, fornication, adultery, etc., look no further than your family Bible. Christians justify the sex therein as "contextualized" with a "moral message." Wrapping porn in a morality tale is the oldest ploy of smut peddlers. No one reads the endings anyway, but including a moral message salves the conscience of the pious. It's one way to have your, shall we say "cake," and eat it, too.

[b]Hi German Lady

I totally agree with your sentiments.

What I find interesting is that a lot of Nigerians come online into the Chatrooms specifically for finding any one who will invite them over to Europe or America or similar - either out of 'love' with the Greencard Agenda in mind or purely as a means to slip unnoticed into the system and become an illegal alien.

It is interesting as well that these guys n girls are all over the internet from Myspace.com to Mixposure.com - a website for musicans - I was contacted out of the blue by a guy called Oyairo Osayi - who asked me to 'befriend' him because he ''likes music' he can't play an instrument but he likes music, I asked him what he was doing on Mixposure.com and he confessed after I had told him that Mixposure is not a dating site but purely for musicians: he said that he was hoping to meet people so they would invite him to their country, and then lose himself in the crowd. Would I be his friend?

Laughable.

I also find it amusing that within moments of a declaration of friendship or love that there is a disaster that has happened: their mobile was stolen, a family member is in hospital and they need your help to pay the bill, they were robbed, can you help them out with buying a new wardrobe? they have no money to buy food or pay for a credit top up on the mobile (even though they are online), my favourite is "I'm a refugee in Accra",

When they are confronted over their lies - it is all denial and then they play the victim - which makes me want to give out Oscars to each and everyone: to see adults squirm and try and turn the tables - cracks me up.

Suffice it to say hardly anyone in the Yahoo Chatrooms takes anyone from Nigeria seriously because everyone is aware of 419 scams, and the love scams for a green card and the 'love scams' to escape their situation. If someone tries it on- they are immediately exposed - we simply don't tolerate it.

My friends and I plan on combining our general knowledge base of these poor men and women who seek to escape their life in Nigeria, Ghana, and Gambia and write a book about it - we have their names, photos and addresses - more importantly their mobile numbers.

[b]Blue2 hi,

1 - IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is one of many oral, written and listening exams required by the Visa Standards. It is actually high on the list. It would be insane for an applicant to apply to Germany or China without being able to speak the language,

2 - With every rejection letter there are reasons stating why an applicant failed. A right to appeal is optional it is not always granted. I never go on second hand stories - i prefer first hand in order to ascertain the truth of a matter. Your 'friend/acquaintance' should come online and state what happened to him

3 - Psychological damage a rejection does?, people need to grow up- life is filled with positive and negative aspects- life is about managing problems and over coming them - not demanding a free pass. Without pain - the individual doesn't grow- Imagine if you can how many applicants The visa People examine per day, imagine again how many times each individual application goes through an inspection process to determine whether or not it is Genuine or creates Reasonable Doubt,

4 - There are myriad ways to obtain a visa, fake qualifications, a British mobile phone number that can be redirected to a Nigerian number etc etc- naturally it all costs money. But if there is determination- there is always a way.

5 - The entire process is on the shoulders of the applicant. Bear in mind one can apply to any university and be rejected: are you suggesting that Universities offer counselling services for every single applicant that was rejected all because YOU want the 'Human Approach'? Similarly with the Visa Process, do you want every officer to send through the post a lollipop to every failed application? Again, perhaps a counselling service or candy should be offered to every failed applicant who applies for a job- because YOU want every applican to be mollycoddled, pampered and mothered. That my dear is just not reality.

6 - Bribes: there have been cases where those with money have actually succeeded in bribing their way into a university: think Diplomats,

7 - A quota per year or month or week - that's something to ask the Home Office- I suspect the answer is no, but that is something you yourself need to find out.

8 - You also need to remember that no one owes anyone anything: applications for visa, a job, a visit and so on to another country is fair game for anyone to apply - if it means having to re-apply without a refund then so be it. My motto is: if you want something THAT badly- you won't give up regardless of how many knocks you come across. With all the 419 Scams going on- if I were an official I'd go through every document and chase every lead with a fine tooth comb.

9 - I'm not familiar with the term "abi" - kindly explain it.

10 - Smile and the world smiles with you,

[b]Ignorance is bliss?

Actually I don't perceive it AS a scam.

What I might agree with is that the system is a little discriminating- but then on the other hand I wonder is it?

Education visas are no different from any other visa- the main reason why applicants are refused is because they don't have the qualifications: the English is poor for instance; or they don't have a strong case this includes financial. I was born and bred in Britain, Wales and am quite thankful that there are rules and regulations regarding visas of any description: there is a large proportion of men and women who apply for education visas who don't actually attend the university- they simply slip into the UK system and go underground and become illegals.

This actually annoys me.

The real scam here is people applying for a visa and getting it and residing in the UK and doing illegal things. I know a few men from Nigeria who have managed to slip into the UK through one means or another and landed themselves cash in hand jobs and then have tried to con some one via the internet to marry them so that they can stay.

My neighbour who is a lecturer at Cardiff University told me that he knows that foreign students not just African ones Will attend a few classes - and then never be seen again - this is not unique for Cardiff University- this happens all across Britain and elsewhere in other countries.

There are good reasons why rules and regulations and legislation are in place.

Suave: the answer is 'yes' - the christian god apparently knows who is going to 'Heaven' or 'Hell' because of such a thing called prescience - however- thats only according to judeo christian doctrine, and only according if you're a subscriber to a patriarchal religion.

Religion / Re: Christians And Moslems Can Be Friends! by MIZIEYA: 11:39pm On Sep 30, 2006
I see your point Don but lets be fair- christians in africa and elsewhere do and say exactly the same thing- the difference here is that there are tribal undercurrents going on- using the name of christianity or islam to make a point and more often than not make that point by continuing blood feuds: basically any old excuse will do by both parties.

Because I am a Celtic Pagan, means that I'm not a fan of either religion: to me they are both empty and soulless - if god resides in a 'holy book' then said god really needs a new place of residence.

I feel that any religion that promotes love and then does the opposite of its sales pitch: dogma and love doctrine then it is clearly not worthy of membership. However it is worthy of Critique lol.

Lets face it: if god had to kill his son to prove some bizarre point, then it stands to reason that love is clearly not on the agenda but self righteousness and lawlessness is.
