I doubt the authenticity of this "so called" interview. Aisha should know better even though I know she is very ambitious and an opportunist but she should know better than expose her husband's linen.

I very much doubt it too. Aisha is a very intelligent woman. All these stories seemed cooked up. Believing or not is your perogative, but then people will believe whatever they want to. It is sad but it is the truth

Lol see format.

Leave our girls on Nairaland alone with this COME and MARRY format.

What is the difference between the girls in Nigeria and the UK?since the UK is an extention of Nigeria anyway.

And you think 1 month is enough to meet a girl, develop a relationship and then marry her?

Story is not adding up.

You want a Nigeria girl?then go to Nigeria in the UK to look for them. Nigeria in the UK is the South East part of London.

I lived there for almost 10 years, and I can authoritatively tell you that all the kinds of girls you want from your village, then some, is there.

Exactly! Most of them are just joking. In the last 2months I've worked two weddings of couples who met in the UK. Op is probably looking for who to mess around with or all this 'yes sir' girls. But he's in for a shock in both cases

Has it stopped Aso rock from having light, no
Has it reduced the benefits of any Govenor, no
Has it made oil company workers, most of whom are of southern extraction retrenched.yes.
Has it affected the locals and the localities more than the nations .yes
Izonpikin deal with it, this guys are criminals like their southern governors, with no thought of the masses in their minds.Let them be offers packages too good to refuse and see what will happen.
For how long will we continue worshiping criminality in this country and keep on going to church on Sundays.
May the Good Lord ,open our eyes to that which is right.

This is what I keep saying. Take the fight to Abuja,to your government houses. Bombing your own lands and thereby polluting it because you're angry does not make a lot of sense. At the end of the day,you lose more

Car Talk / Re: Share Your First Car Bashing Experience. by MizTyna(f): 10:23am On Sep 26, 2016
I've lightly brushed people's bumpers a few times. But this time (2014) I almost hit the car to Maryland. I had just come down from the Ikeja bridge facing Mobolaji bank Anthony to Maryland. I was on speed,a blue golf 2 was in front of me. He was trying to turn and face Ikeja, didn't see him on time but even when I did,I could've calmly braked. I had just started driving big time and I was alone,I panicked and hit the accelerator instead of the brake. Next thing was gbosa!!! The guy and his friend just came down,I parked too. The guy was like 'madam, wetin happen na?' I was just sober, begging seriously. Luckily, his bumper didn't come off,my car just took half the colour of his car on my bumper.

JuanDeDios:

Go with the lazy guy. Lazy guys rock. Besides, it's not easy to find half-Oyinbos these days. Since he's comfortable placing his hands between his legs while a woman picks his bills, I think he will transform into a hardworking person once he sets foot in America. He won't find another mugu girl there. He will send for you and you two will get married. You will hold hands and walk off into the sunset, into Happily-Ever-After where he will take good care of you.

Like they say, in every decision there are two choices: What is, and what you want; that is, what is good for you and what your emotions crave.

The sarcasm is out of this world! Damn! :*

This sadly is nothing but the truth. I'm Urhobo, born and raised in Lagos. I'm lucky to be able to speak Urhobo,Yoruba and English Languages fluently. But most people I've met are not like that and surprisingly seemed proud about it like I'm local to speak. Very annoying to say the least. Nothing cool about being unable to speak your Language

That is God will continue to punish those girls sleeping with married men. At 24! Which guy will hear a story like hers and still wanna wife her sef

And what about the man? If we're assigning fault individually the man has the major part. The girl is single, she's not the one breaking her vows,he is. Let's learn to hold these men to higher standards then maybe we'll have more responsible men.

I don't know how Saudi deals men beating women .let me tell u when we were small my mum used to be very arrogant and rude to my dad cos he is a quiet man not until my mums mother I mean her own mum told my dad to beat her .After my dad gave her a better beating peace ,love respect came to our house since 1984 till now my mum has never raise her voice against my dad. Am not advocating women battery but a times small spanking does the magic

Yes you just advocated women battery. Because your dad beat your mum now you're going to continue the trend. This is why fathers should be role models to their children. If your mother changed, believe me it wasn't due to the beating.

Nameerfhtennek, please do not listen to anybody asking you to beat or leave your wife. Truth is she messed up royally. You also said mean things to her. Any sincere person will tell you the first few years of marriage is a pain in the ass. Dating is very different from actually living together, pls don't have her go back. Talk to her, tell her about your hopes, fears and dreams for the marriage. And why all what happened must never happen again. There's nothing scary in what happened to you,if you talk to any married person they'll just laugh it off. Talk about it. Communicate better. I wish you all the best!

Had a similar experience sad

I woke up on a Saturday morning to wash my car only to see scratches on the bonnet. The kid wrote his name and the rest of his family's name. Had to call the kid and explain why that act was wrong and what not. Felt terrible sad

Used to do this when I was a child. Especially at the redemption camp where you have lots of abandoned vehicles

From where Im standing you are a control freak and you display over domineering tendencies.

Your husband married you, you didnt marry him. He married you, and not your father and mother.
By African traditions, your family should respect him and his family and not the other way around.

From where i am standing he may be igbo whie you are yoruba, so cultural differences are expected. Every marriage is full of odd controversies here n there.

I feel sad for you with this mentality. Even though someone talked about the average nairaland user being between the ages of 13-19 it is still not an excuse for this manner of mediocrity

Hi Innovestor, first,I'll like to know, what does your wife do? How many kids do you have? How old are they? Does she have any help? Even if she's a fulltime mum it is still a daunting task. I have just one daughter and sometimes after spending a full day with her I'm so tired sex is so far from my mind even if I see Idris Elba swinging a 10inch pipe. Also, have you thought maybe she has a low libido? If yes, there are natural stuff she can take to help out, majorly fruits. And lastly, pls don't threaten to go out, that is just wrong. I don't know the kind of person your wife is but if my man tells me that,I'm zeroing off him completely. Let her know how much you love and desire her, send one or two messages throughout the day, help with dinner and the kids when you can if no help and see what happens

There is no wisdom in saving thousands of houses thereby resulting in the project cost running into hundreds of billions!!
As a Civil Engineer, I understand that when you alter the alignment of the highway leading to the bridge, you automatically increase of decrease the cost of construction. In this case, I could advise the state government to reduce the length of this bridge! There are certain points of closest proximity whereby the 4th Mainland bridge could be the shortest. It is called line of best fit.

I just want to be sure contractor or financier is short-changing the government. My M.Sc project was on the Extension of the Structural Lifespan of the 3rd Mainland bridge. I discovered several troubling issues that both my professors or the professionals representing the FG on the project did not know. Truth is that the 4th Mainland doesn't have any business being that long or that costly. I am entitled to my views. No govt person should call my number!

God help Nigeria.

Why don't you try write to the ministry of works? You never can tell!

And I'm a government person,calling you right now :p

pls wether they dated is inconsequential what's appropriate for now is counsel on solutions, the way forward.

It is very consequential. If it started before marriage that means that is his kind of person and she knew that and still went ahead hoping to 'change' him. You really can't change someone if he doesn't agree to change. If it started after marriage then there is still much hope
