The core idea behind child and spousal support is to continue to provide the children and ex the lifestyle they are “accustomed” to after taking into account age, ability to earn what level of income, etc. I want to assume this is what guides decisions in the Nigerian court system too but who knows ![]() |
"About to crash my marriage" Your choice of words shows you are already halfway fallen. Wise men say " run from temptation " It's not about fighting temptation, the failure rate is high when you choose that strategy. In this situation, you have to ask yourself if you can truly stop yourself from going after her even when you stop seeing her half naked. If you can't stop yourself, carefully and respectfully inform your wife that the girl has to leave. She's not worth risking your marriage. |

This pains me, he was one of the more reasonable fellows on this site. May God's comfort envelope his family. Only 44, so young. He sowed a lot of generosity. One thing I know for sure is that God is not mocked, we reap what we sow. May his wife and kids always find help in time of need and may the harvest of his sowing continually overwhelm them and their descendants with goodness, mercy and prosperity all their days. . . .amen! |
