Our democracy is already undermined when politicians and lawyers use the rule of law as a means to Steal rather than using it to protect the masses. The likes of FfK, Gandoje, Fayose, Mama peace, evans etc are all free to an extent because of the so rule of law. Even Dasuki would have been walking feely also if Buhari didn't veto the judgement. And we all know Dasuki rendered so many children useless turning them to Beggars in IDP Camp, made them father less, mother less. All because he looted money meant to buy weapon. He knew about the rule of law before he stole knowing fully well he manipulate it that's why he did it.

Saraki, David mark etc was indicted by the Panama papers... The reason they're still senators is because of the same rule of law... But when Saraki failed to step down as senate president as beign Part of the minority nobody mentioned anything like the rule. He breached it. pdp supporters brag that he cannot be removed knowing fully well he breached the law. Is it not the same law Saraki breached that some people are happy about that the same people are crying for because is the way round.

We're not ready to move forward in Nigeria.
We are not supporting Onnogen and all those culprits you listed. What we are simply saying is that two wrongs cannot make a right.

You think well-meaning Nigerians like me would not also have kicked if Onnogen's case was to be manipulated in court?

Every sensible Nigerian knows that onoghen should have resigned just like Adeosun after admitting to the crime. Stop supporting evil because you hate Buhari or APC. In developed countries this CJN would have honourably resigned.
He should have resigned.
But since he did not want to, why would PMB not follow due process in removing or suspending him after which he can be tried in court and made to face the full wrath of the law since that is what he (Onnogen) wants rather than resign?

PoliticsRe: What The Law stipulates On The Removal Of the CJN by PoliticsNGR.com by MNDY(m): 11:52pm On Jan 25, 2019
RockHard:
Technically, the CJN has only been suspended not removed. He should go defend himself against the corruption allegations levelled against him, and if found not guilty he can get back his erstwhile position. Being CJN is not his father's property.
Before and while defending himself, the law states that he should still be the CJN until proven guilty or otherwise. But no, he has been replaced.

The suspension was even illegal, the CCT which recommended it was halted by a higher court.
PoliticsRe: What The Law stipulates On The Removal Of the CJN by PoliticsNGR.com by MNDY(m): 11:46pm On Jan 25, 2019
But in this case, it is a suspension recommended by CCT, by CCT already halted by a higher court and yet he went ahead to obey CCT and made replacement when Onnoghen should still constitutionally be the CJN until found guilty or otherwise.

PoliticsRe: Saraki Reacts To CJN Onnoghen Suspension, Reveals Next Line Of Action by MNDY(m): 11:26pm On Jan 25, 2019
Why obey CCT halted by a higher court for Christ's sake. Constitutionally, Onoghen should still be the CJN until found guilty or otherwise before the next step is taken.

And come to think of it, the CCT judge also has a bribery case with the EFCC. Why was he not suspended? And one idiot is here saying that the President derived his power to suspend Onoghen from the fact that Onoghen admitted...what nonsense!

This man just pissed on our constitution walai
PoliticsRe: Saraki Reacts To CJN Onnoghen Suspension, Reveals Next Line Of Action by MNDY(m): 11:14pm On Jan 25, 2019
Tetehjewels:
He got the powers the moment the CJN admitted to his "crime of omission" in which ignorance is not an excuse in the face of the law.

In that event he cannot be a judge in his own case. He was given the opportunity to voluntarily step aside pending the outcome of his case but he refused. He therefore had ri be suspended on those grounds.

And regarding your earlier ganduje nonsense, he has immunity now. Such an immunity not enjoyed by the CJN
And Buhari is the embodiment of the law which you think he used to suspend him for admitting to crime of omission abi?
A higher court already asked CCT to halt which it did, to find out if it has the powers to handle the matter. So even the CCT's recommendation of suspension of the CJN should not also have been followed and Onoghen should still be working until found guilty or otherwise.

Kingsley is the right man that can make things work in this country. But how will he get there? Not even Oby Ezekwesili's coalition can ensure that.

APC will soooo rig the forthcoming election ehn. If not for anything, to do 'do me I do you' PDP stayed in power for 16years through looting so APC be like now it's our own turn.

PMB and Atiku are pulling crowds. Zombies think PMB is pulling more crowd. I for one would go to a PMB campaign rally too, not because I like him or will vote him.

The story of Usman Dan Fodio (a bringer of Islam) and how he attacked and conquered emirates killing people as he went, is an integral part of Islam. The wars he fought are known as Jihad.

Usman Dan Fodio's Jihad remains a source of inspiration to the Muslims. Link the aforementioned to the activities of terrorists posing a threat to global peace today and you will understand what role Islam plays.

Religion of peace it is described as by those who based on their own perqsonal moral grounds have refused to follow the path of Jihad firmly established in Islam.
