seunfunmi33: In 2012, I was transferred to ibadan. I have lots of girlfriends in lagos and don't want to date any new girl in ibadan, so me and my friend that was transferred to ibadan together became regulars at a brothel. Me and my friend had just 2 customers we patronize.
6 months later (early 2013) I was transferred back to Lagos . After I left, I do invite one of the girls to Lagos because she is too good in bed till I lost her contact when my phone got lost (December 2013).
We all travelled home yesterday due to sallah celebration. I was surprised when I saw my younger brother come with the prostitute in ibadan and introduced her to me as his fiancee. I just stood there not knowing what to do because I was expecting the girl to feel somehow and but she didn't even show any fear. Throughout the day She was everywhere cooking and joking with everybody around there.
I thought she was pretending not to know me but I didn't confront her, so I asked for some of her pix from my brother and sent it to that my friend if he knows the girl and he was quick to tell me that's the girl I do bleep in ibadan. But when I told him of the relationship between my brother and the girl, he told me to tell our parents and my brother so they can cancel the relationship that the girl isn't worth it.
Now am confused, I don't know if the girl is pretending or she doesn't recognize me anymore because of her numerous customers. I don't know if I should tell my brother or just keep quiet. Advice me pls wait so you so are worthy of being someone else's husband when you are ashawo yourself? |

lastpage: Women like this should be divorced ASAP.
You are either ready for marriage (and its responsibilities) or you are not. What is the big deal in dishing food in a plate, if you could cook it and place it on the table?
Foolish women whining about nothing!
Lastpage! Wait let me understand so you would think that divorcing a woman because she didn't put food in a plate is a very sound and mature thing to do? |

Joy1706: Please I will want to know the opinion of people. My husband insists I dish his food. For instance, if I set the food on the table with plates and cutlery, he prefers I dish onto his plate, that it shows complete service.i think otherwise because I might be busy attending to other chores. This morning he almost left for work without taking breakfast and when i asked why he was leaving, he said the service was not complete. So I had to leave what I was doing to dish food for him.
What are your views on this? *culled from facebook* You can always put the food directly into your adopted child's plate right after cooking, then place it on the table with another plate covering it or something. It will save you from washing a million dishes after he is done anyway. |

Stillfire: Lol, I laughed out loud when he said just use 'shampoo and coconut oil'. Natural hair is time consuming. let us not deceive ourselves. I know, because I have natural hair since 2008. From time to time I wear a wig, weave, braids because I like them all. I like the fact I can change my looks. Afro, wigs, weaves, braids, bring them on. Whenever I'm on my Afro, know that that week or month I don't have to wake up in the morning and dash out to work. Hair day for naturalistas is more like hair weekend, lol. I try to do a little bit of everything too but when it comes to weaves i normally put on straight hair. i have always wanted to try kinky and wavy curl hair extensions but im so scared they will need more attention. How have you handled that? |

OdenigboAroli: Shampo and coconut oil or some other good products. Please,do your research you are a woman. But stop wearing fake hair, biko. Its degrading and shameful. you failed to answer the question. how long does she take to do that? what does she do to her hair before sleeping? FYI i will not stop putting in hair extensions because it takes me 3mins to straighten the hair before lectures and all i have to do before bed is tie it up in a bun and go to sleep. i have fine hair that breaks like no man's business in winter. i will not move around with hair that i know is hard to maintain because someone somewhere thinks its degrading and shameful to put on extensions. Maybe your wife has the time and energy some of us don't have to spend hours on her hair before going out of the house all in the bid of pleasing her husband. I content with my extensions that take lesser time to maintain. If it gives you sleepless nights oh well thats your problem and i will not lose an eye because of it. While you are still forming undiluted African kindly ask your wife to stop shaving and using tampons on her periods, because this was influenced by white people. Black people never shaved. Thank you |

OdenigboAroli: I don't expect you to run short of good excuses why you keep hiding your real hair and straightening it to look like white women's. There is no good excuse for these acts just stupid old plain insecurity. You are simply insecure and ignorant, simply put. Nothing more....I say it to every black woman that straightens their hair or wear weave ons.....I told my wife to forget about going out with me if she wears that stupid fake white women's hair....I am a proud African and nobody will misrepresent me. if your wife keeps long hair. what does she have to do with her hair before going to bed and how long does she take doing her hair before work? |

i do not think that this whole hair thing really has anything to do with self-hate. how long will it take you to wash, blow dry and style an afro and how long will it take to wash, style and blow dry processed hair ( or hair extensions ) before work or before you go out any where really? |

Squig: Did you have doubts about your spouse before your wedding?
Did you meet someone amazing and you wanted him but decided to go ahead and marry your spouse?
How do you feel about the marriage now? Do you feel you did the right thing?
I'm in my mid 20s and I'm getting married next month, we've been together for almost 5years. He is the love of my life and I've never doubted my love for him or the fact that I wanted a family with him. He's got everything I want in a man.
The problem is we started having issues about 6 months ago, we stopped talking like before and we are completely disconnected now especially on my end but we're still going ahead with the marriage plan and I still want to marry him.
I met another guy I am really attracted to and we've been talking about a lot. He knows I am having issues with my man and I can't tell him we are planning to get married.
I'm having doubts about my man now, I'm confused, I feel I'll be happier with this new guy, I'm thinking it's lust but it's getting more complicated. Should I go on with the wedding?
Feel free to talk sense into my head, I need to hear hard truths. This is the time to be working things with your man. Relationships will not always be rosy, you learn to bring back the happiness you once shared. Do not seek comfort in the arms of another man. |
