I wish you well girl. Take care of yourself very well so that what you left ( if actually you have) won't resurrect in you and destroy this beautiful beginning. Old habit dies hard they say. But I trust if you take yourself serious, you will be fine. I could remember the day your mum and dad got wedded at a Baptist Church in Ilorin. I was not there physically but your both parents being NTA staff at the time were accorded Newsline coverage anchored by Frank Oliseh. Rev Dr J.K Ojemola's admonition to your Dad was, " Smart, don't be smart to cheat on your wife Smart, don't be smart to batter your wife..." Congratulations to you! |
Very humble professor when we met. He made my town-and-gown meet pleasant. |
It was my final year in the Uni in 1999. I was traveling to Lagos from Ado Ekiti to see my girlfriend ( now wife) in a 14 passenger bus. Between Ife and Ibadan I was already madly pressed. Thankfully I was seated in the front close to the driver. I just told the driver that he would likely pack shi.t if he would not stop immediately. The guy understood and just swerved and packed for me. Passengers were asking what happened. He told them he wanted to check something on the vehicle. I ran to the bush to do the business. I was relieved and had to get flagyl and tetra at Ibadan when he was refuelling. |
I was in a church last Sunday and I heard the guy leading prayers praying in 'tongues' saying, " omah lay, omah lay". That sounds like a new music act and I just walked out of that church. |
Yenefer:You are right! |
Northern Nigeria is their estate where they still earn royalty in many forms. Ask why Dasuki was deposed by Abacha...you will understand. |
