Someone here mentioned ekiti and I think proudmom38(not sure sha) also said its free in ekpoma.
I really did lol at fashola falling your hand grin it is well sis.

Please next time you go ask them for it! Its not usually offered cos of its pricey nature you have to indicate interest! First round starts at 6weeks of babies age.
Fashola didn't fall her hand, the Ekpoma hospital is Irua Specialist " A fed govt FMC' wink , as for the Ekiti, it's probably the FMC at Ido Ekiti but i stand corrected if it isn't..

Beremx, They probably didn't indicate it in the form so as to avoid Q&A since federal didn't provide it.... Vaccination is not the responsibility of the state govt... Donor Agencies and Fed govt contribute and sometimes, Donor agencies contribute as much as 90%..

MO called it..... smiley

The only thing that is obvious is that PDP effectively has no leadership and with the amount of bad blood that exists, one can only wonder who will win this tug of war...

I'm 100% certain that some unseen hands manipulated and directed this script and we should expect a launch of a new party out of the ashes of one of the faction in the not so distant future...

The claim will be "PDP isn't serious and we need to provide opposition", make we dey watch.
Mynd44 lalasticlala , we have a new "gathering" ....

probably they see diarrhea as less important abi? Why then is the vaccine costly? modath, i just confuse o! huh

May God protect our children from all these yeye diseases.
Nope, i don't think so,you know the bureaucracy that is involved in government policies..

It's costly because vaccines are generally cost prohibitive but we don't really know it because donor agencies {Bill Gates foundation provides for polio} and federal government provide them otherwise mortality rate for nor be here...

I paid 17.5k for vaccine in one day, i just imagined if na minimum wage earner.....

P.S..... My older kids didn't get PCV and Rota{but paid big money for another one that isn't in the govt programme at Garki hospital around 2011 cos my dearest friend was on my case } cos we didn't know about it back then and i got them for baby K out of paranoia, the CHEW officers were like, 'NA MONEY DEY SCRATCH UNA FOR BODY" grin

The most important vaccines are not available free in government hospitals? Do they think it's not important? I have seen four cases of severe diarrhea kill babies including my cousin's son and former neighbour's son, all less than six months of age.

too bad!
Not to sound crazy but i don't agree with you, diarrhea isn't the most important... Polio, diptheria, Whooping cough, tetatnus, measles, etc are way way way deadlier.

As for the inclusion in the NPI, the ex Minister of health is an orthopaedic surgeon who also had gubernatorial ambition so his head wasn't in the right place i assume.

The present one is a prof of OBGYN and a maternal/child wellness advocate, hopefully the matter go enter hin ears..

Shebi Lassa Fever don go abi? The government did well in fighting the disease.
See dem peeping, dem don run...they thought they will have something to mock this government with!! Ignorant charlatans who politicize evrything...

This same 2016, the same NCDC has been appropriated for under ministry of health and no one is in the Jabi office..... Probably cos it has been the practice since under the IB.

Mynd44 lalasticlala, this can still be exposed to the world since that was the initial plan by the OP.

Most of you ignorant folks don't know there is something called Nigeria centre for Diseases control (been getting donor funds and appropriated for in the budget) because the past PDP governments weren't proactive enough and were too corrupt to allow it see the light of day..

hold on mo, i had to check my son's immunization book to be sure. Which one is PENTAVALENT? Does it consists of Rota too?

"modified"

how much is rota vaccine in Abuja?
Rota & Penta are two separate vaccines.

Penta is a compound of 5 different vaccines, it used to be DPT (then it was 3) while Rota is for diarrhea..

Rota was 7.5k when I got it for baby K late last year. My family friend who is a consultant Paed said they've made submissions through NMA long long time ago for PCV & Rota to be provided by the NPI (National policy on immunisation) but.....

...in private hospitals abi?
This is why i love Fashola's government in Lagos. He made sure there were good and adequate PHC scattered around the state. Where i live in Lagos, there are about 3 Primary Health Centers close to me. The closest is just 5minutes walk.

Why on earth would i spend money to immunize my son in a private hospital? I dey craze? huh
Immunisation is Fed government responsibility (NPI), not state.. confirm if you can get free rota in lag, we pay here in Abuja.

There are worse federal and state roads all over Imo state why not call on Buhari to fix it first before clowning about? Maybe I will start uploading pictures to reset your brain to normal settings!
The article isn't about Imo, it's about Anambra.

Deflecting attention and swinging into attack dog mode is exactly why the past government left so many things hanging for his core loyalists cos it was a given that anything goes....and trying to derail the thread isn't going to fix the road either...

BTW, apart from appointing SE folks into positions, in what way did Hero positively affect the live of the average man/woman/child on the streets of Awka, Aba, Enugu or Nsukka?

Pa Chuks, you don't get how these things work, something akin to APB has been gotten, now interpol will be involved, financial crime networks, will "co-operate" with the authority...

The funds originated from naija, it was established that no contract was executed cos the firm is one of the portfolio companies established mainly to steal from the treasury.

First off, why did you eliminate the fact that oil rose to $147/barrel under UMYA before the downward trend?

Under Jonathan, the highest was about $105 or so...

Can you clarify if the $21.8 b mentioned by NOI include both foreign and domestic debt. I remember when NOI said that the bulk of the debt is due to the salary increase of 2010 which 'APC' strongly supported against NOI advice that the country could not carry it.

Out of the $21.8b, what percentage is external and what is domestic?
Agabs, there was no APC in 2010, even 2011 CPC & ACN presented different candidates so how did they get together to militate against your hero? cheesy

obailala:
I heard several billions were being budgeted by GEJ to fix this runway, but somehow, someway, it's either the money was never released or it grew limbs and crawled away after it was released.

The last time a thread was opened on this NL forum to question what happened to the moneys budgeted for the fixing of this runway, the thread was instantly turned into a tribal battleground; one side suggested that Stella & GEJ had questions to answer, the others side vehemently refused that Stella or GEJ had any questions to answer even as they ascribed the poor state of the runway to 'targeted marginalisation.'
The highlighted always gets me SMH everytime!! What is wrong with asking valid questions without it degenerating into purposeless arguments, namecalling & blame games and shifting..

It is really sad that meaningful discussions can no longer take place anymore because of clannishness.
It's a sad situation for real...
