I will always maintain that for the fact that I support a candidate in an election does not mean that I won't bare my mind about him whenever such opportunity arise. If as far back as 2012 and 2013 I can protest in Ojota and calling for Oduah's ouster/prosecution despite voting for him in 2011, I tell you I would have done worse if he was re-elected and the Dasuki-gate was brought to light.

Blacks hate Whites, Democrats & Republic don't wish each other well but they'll never pray for America to run down.

2. Did you dictate terms & agreement to Deji Adeyanju when he gave you a job like NNPC union tried to do before the national backlash made them receive sense.

3. Is this your way of warming your way back into the hearts of the Biafran agitators ? smiley

4.Which country in this world do a section of the citizens decide to destroy power infrastructure & also develop amnesia about how it will not only affect their perceived enemies but also their support base & loyalists as well.

I however agree that PMB's silence on the herdsmen menace & destructive conduct is ominous & unbecoming , I also wish he could be more diplomatic as his intentions & delivery do not tally & most often than not come across the wrong way....

Politics is both a profession and a service. Hence, it is called "public service".
Nope, Public service has a different meaning but you being who you really are underneath the "gloss" of patrotism will spin it to suit you... unless the intention is a deviation from your choice of words... cool

Public service[1] is a service which is provided by government to people living within its jurisdiction, either directly (through the public sector) or by financing provision of services. The term is associated with a social consensus (usually expressed through democratic elections) that certain services should be available to all, regardless of income. Even where public services are neither publicly provided nor publicly financed, for social and political reasons they are usually subject to regulation going beyond that applying to most economic sectors. Public policy[2] when made in the public's interest and motivations can provide Public services. Public service is also a course that can be studied at a college and/or university. Examples of public services are the fire brigade, police, Royal Air force , and paramedics.

Just a snippet, & no this is not a negative comment, this is constructive objectivity which you should get used to if indeed you want to earn your daily bread "serving" through your chosen "profession"

My thoughts!

When I saw "sweeps off", I thought they were actually laid off.

How can redeployments to perceived "less juicy" departments be considered punishment? So their new positions would not require any form of integrity and discipline?

angry
If you understand how civil service works, you'd get it.. the redeployment is a fate worse than death for majority of them, imagine someone managing to corner 10-20million a year posted to ministry of women affairs or youth where he wont see a farthing....... moreover they are not going to be in charge of budgeting anymore..

You also need to understand that civil service is not like private organisations, sacking people is not a straightforward exercise , also the padding was done with skill that a lot of innocent will be punished alongside the very guilty, so redeployment will do the needful...

Many of them will voluntarily retire soon, that is a fact..

As for Barcanista, i don't have any issues with him or deliberately set out to antagonize him, that isn't Mo's M.O (literary licence not intended) cheesy

I just call him out when he is trying to his usual narrative twists & cloak & dagger ops, minus that, i don't get in the way of any individual on their grind...
