1. the term 'IT guy' is too broad.
2. You havent specified what the goal and scope of the competition is.
3. What are the other 5 people going to be doing?
Walking around the stage?
4. $25 000 divided by the 10 of you, assuming you are going to share it equally and that you are going to win, is too small.
5. However, wish you goodluck.

first class?
Only one student graduated with it in my school.
Yoruba schools tend to be freer with marks
than frustrated igbo bribe devils calling them selves lecturers.
A friend of mine, a room mate who was supposed to get a 4.0 on a scale of 4.0 was purposefully given an AB be cause no one in the school ever got it!
Mean while our semesters last about 3 months some times students do 13 courses if you divide it proberly you get about one week plus to study each course.
Tell me, what can you learn in java for example, in 1 week plus.
You see why our CS students are empty heads?
Nice school GP but empty head.
As in stack computer illiterates.

in my final year i got a C in Cplus plus!
I was stunned at that!
My c plus plus lecturer cannot on a computer!
So probably copied the answer
and marked my code according to his own copy!

'no body has ever got an A in my course since 1992, A is for me, AB is for my wife'
my english lecturer once said in my yr one.

'i dont give people A ' - one of my course lecturers.
I got a D in that course.
(Engineering Safety)
if i give u d course content, you'll get an A the following day!

Another way to get an A is to pay the lecture N3000 after the exams!

School was war.
Business / Re: Where Can You Invest 1million Naira In 9ja With Good Returns In A Month by moderattor: 10:17pm On Mar 02, 2012
the answer is NO.
There's no such business.
Except its already existing and flourishing b4 u can put in N1m and get above N1m in return.
Otherwise spend 30 percent educating ur self.
40 percent geting ur assets
then 30 percent investment.
That way u are sure not to loose ur N1m.

Sugardiva:

The judiciary is not synonymous with the Legal profession. The judiciary makes up less than a third of what is the Nigerian legal profession. so u cant judge the profession by d conduct of d judiciary.

In my opinion the legal profession  stands out if not on their effectiveness and trustworthiness but in their proper understanding of what it is to be a 'professional'.

you are just playing with words.
You lawyers so far have failed us.

Two years into school, i discovered am a computer genius.
After all efforts to switch to computer science failed
i decided to quit reading my books during the semester in exchange for improving my coding skills.
I read only during exams and had my CGPA drop to 2:1 fro dinstinction.
In final year i quit attending lectures completely as it was really telling on my studying time.
I did all the assignments and practicals , wrote all the quizes and exams.
And graduated a programmer!
One of the things that amazed me was that i got a C in c plus plus (the only computer course in my discipline) instead of an A! Crazy lecturers@
teaching a programming language they cant use!
Islam for Muslims / Re: 10 Years After Burial, Imam Sheez Adeyemi's Body Remains Fresh by moderattor: 10:55am On Feb 26, 2012
tbaba12345:

In the 1930's (1932) in Iraq, The corpse of two shahaba HUDHAIFA AL YAMANI and JABIR IBNE ABDULLAH-E-ANSARI were exhumed and relocated.

For 1400 years, their bodies had not decayed a bit,

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Opening_of_grave_of_two_sahaba_in_Iraq_in_1932

In 1932, the then ruling King of Iraq, Shah Faisal dreamt that he was being addressed by Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman, who said "O King! Remove Jabir ibn Abdullah Ansari and me from the bank of river Tigris and bury us at some safe place because my grave is already filled with water while Jabir's grave is collecting water slowly." That year, a large number of Muslims and non-Muslims, along with the King, Grand Mufti, Prime Minister, and Prince Farooq of Egypt were there for the opening of graves of both trusted companions of Muhammad. Both of the bodies were said to be fresh and intact while their open eyes were said to issue forth such divine light that the spectators' eyes were dazzled.[citation needed] Furthermore, their coffins, clothes, and kaffan were also intact and at first glance, it appeared as if they were alive. The two bodies were then taken away and buried afresh near the grave of Salman al-Farsi, in Salman Park, which is 30 miles from Baghdad.
He narrated about 1,500 Hadiths. After the death of Muhammad he used to deliver lectures in Masjid Nawabi, Medina, Egypt, and Damascus. Such leading Tabi'en scholars as Amr ibn Dinar, Mujahid, and Ata' ibn Abi Rabah attended his lectures. People gathered around him in Damascus and Egypt to learn about Muhammad and his Hadiths.
On February 26, 2006, the Shrine of Salman the Persian was attacked by insurgents and damaged in the violence following the bomb explosion at Al-Askari Mosque.
