Herbs for IVF preparation? Very risky. Any way I did not use any herbs and I also waited for 7years and 10month before my good news came.........

Not the kind of herbs you are thinking of, these are herbs recognised globally, you can google dandelion,dong quai,goldenseal
They help for uterine cleaning but you need to know when to use them

Hi sis. You can follow fdnaturals on IG. You need to prepare your body before undergoing another IVF cycle. She's into eating healthy and she might suggest some things for uterine cleanse. You will testify in Jesus name.

I use some herbs from at fdnaturals and I can say they really work as I took in two months after taking them while getting ready for ivf after 8 plus years.

Nice thread and long over due, am a first time mom to be and the moment I took in, made up my mind I was going to opt for cs, my dh even supported that.
Alot of stigma going around about cs, people need to be enlightened.
I weep anytime I hear they lost a mother or baby because they refuse cs
please everyone should come share their experience, let us know what to expect and how to prepare for it.

Hello all. I have been trying to read from 2012, but got tired of reading!! Phew.

A big hello to all mums and GTC (Going to conceive mothers in the house) . We will all have our testimonies soon in Jesus name.

Its nice to know one is not alone in this journey.

So, my brief hystory ... I have endometriosis, and i had a big chocolate cyst removed in 2016, after which i was placed on a drug to stop me menstruating for 9 months. (That was supposed to allow the endo in my left ovary dry off) which apparently worked, cos i haven't had any cysts since then .
I got pregnant in oct 2017 .. Yay right?!. i however had a missed abortion at 9weeks (no heartbeat). Found out the baby had stopeed growing at week 12.
Another pregnancy showed up in october 2018 and same thing happened at 9 weeks again.
I have since not been able to pregnant, or i think so.

It so happens that i also have about 4 fibriods in my uterus and all the gyneas i have used (i have used 3 different gyneas in the last 4years) all said, i should ignore the fibriods. But they have grown over the past 4 years and i'm worried. Its like they grow bigger with each pregnancy.

So, after i did the evac of the missed abortion in Jan this year, my gynea put me on pronatal, and after 3months with no pregnancy, he did a scan again and said there are more fibroids growth and are too close to my endometrium and i might require surgery. But he said they shouldn't prevent me from taking in, just that i wont have a natural delivery.

He told me to stop taking the prenatals cos of the folic acid (said it fuels fibroids growth) (and to think i've been taking that folic acid for like 2 years o!! No one said anything!!!.)

Since i didnt get pregnant, he put me on clomid 50mg 2months ago, and still i didn't get pregnant. I was to continue the clomid on the next cycle but i lost my dad same day my peroid started and didnt even remember anything about the clomid.
So i started clomid again this cyle. Its day CD 6 and i took my last pill yesterday.
I noticed my CM wasnt egg white for the last 2cycles and it worries me.

What can i take, besides using preseed lub, that can help me get a fertile CM like immediately.

And anyone having similar or had similar issues, i would welcome advices and suggestions. Also natural herbs to help shrink these fibriods. Thank you.

Am not sure staying off folic acid totally why TTC is a good idea because folic acid prevent chil defect like spina bifida which is not a good sickness as I know someone firsthand who has it.
Also, in my opionio, clomid even feed fibroid much more
Please seek 2nd opinion and if possible take out the fibroid, God will see u through, he is never late

I think you should stop after ovulation, I used it before and I usually stop after or during ovulation, it works for me

English lemon is the imported type of lemon. We don't grow them in Nigerian. I said English because I have had one mama one time said she bought lemon for N50/100. Those are the Nigeria/our local 'lemon' which I very doubt they are lemons. Do not use those. Those might just be lime or even worse. Not good for ttc mamas. The one I know is the English lemons. They sell them in shoprite, spa supermarket, everyday supermarket etc.

I beg to disagree with this, the lemons grown and sold in Nigeria are completely safe compare to the foreign ones as the foreign ones might have a lot of preservatives in them.
Lime and lemons do not resemble as the back of the lemon is usually rough and that is what differentiate it from other citrus, lime on the other hand is very small and smooth and not good for TTC.
Most foreign fruits are packed with preservatives which worsen things for us sometimes, is better to to always source for locally grown that are in season, just my take.

I am about to surprise my Elder sister who has PCOS that has resulted in 9years of subfertility and 2 ivf failures with 1million naira to restart her ivf trials again. She's in Taraba with the Husband, thus the closest place for her is abuja.
As much I as know the fluidity of outcomes of this procedure, I also recognize that informed decisions do alter the prognosis abit. In this regard, I would like to know the following.

1. Which ivf center is the most cost-effective in abuja( she and and husband are having financial setbacks so I shall be paying most of the way?)

2. Which one is most flexible in terms of appointments and followup considering their location which makes travelling for Cycle correction and ovarian hyperstimulation inevitable.?

3. I know your chances increase with more cycles.. Which ivf center is the cheapest ast for multiple back to back cycles if néed.

My questions are not exhaustive, this couple have done in Nisa premier and India without success before stumbling upon hard times which is making feeding difficult how much more ivf.. My prayer is that this gesture kickstarts some progress in their lives.

I live in Abuja and having used both Grabbo and fertilaid, I will say both of them are ok but I will rate fertilaid higher anyday though they are way more expensive.
so since you are looking at multiple trial, I will advice you use grabbo as they are quite affordable.
Also, grabbo just moved to a new facility and have lodging within the premises

Your doctor should be able to prescribe for you
Drugs commonly used are parlodel,carbergoline, note that different people react differently to drugs so I think is best you check with your doctor.
Ewedu therapy has also been proven to help with high prolactin, cook ewedu without potash and oil, you can add crayfish or fish to spice it up

Good morning fruitful mamas, please I have an aunt who is 55 years, her husband is already thinking of divorcing her,she is interested in Ivf, please can anyone recommend Ivf centres at Ilesha or Oshogbo with high success rates, please its urgent as she is already contemplating suicide

I have heard of alot of people that age and older that have had successful ivfs and carried to term. I personally do not know any hospital around Ilesha/ Oshogbo but if money is not an issue, I think she can travel to Lagos as they are many good ivf centres in Lagos,Bridge hospital, Georges etc. I'm sure other sisters will mention more when they come.
Also, you can talk to her about other options like surrogacy, adoption
I pray God will come through for her soon and her marriage will resin intact in Jesus name

@Mommdav-- pls, can you enlighten me- have done HSG twice which says right tube parent but couldn't see left tube due to spasm. Dr. suggested laparoscopy which I did last week, they said dye wet the tube but didn't pass tru. i don't understand them because they said they can unblock tube if blocked. they will remove cyst and adhesion IF SEEING but I don't understand the essence of the laparoscopy they did. am going crazy, pls. Dr. suggested inducing ovulation with drugs/injections (gonadotrophin & hcg) but we don't have money to do that. pls, can I take clomid & some fertility drugs + injection((gonadotrophin) then hcg on Day 12/13 to release the mature egg while we BBD on 36hrs-40hrs. pls help, dear sister

Is well wit you sis and God will come through at the right time but please I'm not sure is safe for you to induce ovulation and injectable on your own without close monitoring, please don't risk it. You need close monitoring through scan so you obviously need to work with your doctor
