thank u so much for patiently answering my questions and so sorry for my constant questions, however there was no link to click on all I saw was a table, also I need to ask again as it wasn't previously answered, must I do my English test e. G IELTS in academic module, I did one last year for another process but did it in general module, can I still use it and get a positive assessment? Thanks quote author=Alphadoor post=52989956]@moniyet Thank you so much for your advice but is it true that those that chose accounting and ICT occupation need at least 70 to be invited as the influx is high? Am afraid that is TRUE as at DECEMBER 2016 but this things are not set in stones, its a trend that is not stable Following this link for more info and see attached. [/quote] 1 Like |

Thank you so much for your advice but is it true that those that chose accounting and ICT occupation need at least 70 to be invited as the influx is high? quote author=Alphadoor post=52975682] AGE 32: 30 IELTS: 10 Work Experience: 10 or 5 or 0 subject to review by CPA/ICAA/IPA Partner: 5 Degree: 15 . Worst case scenario is that you will have 60 based on the above criteria, but you are good for 65, You can increase your Points by applying for your assessment soonest (before you turn 33) and also getting superior English score. the assessment body will advise you if " banking operations can be regarded as closely related to accounting occupation", so the earlier you start the better.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good day everyone, Thanks to everyone providing guidance to us all here. May God bless u and the work of your hands, started reading this thread a few days ago but it will take weeks for me to complete so please forgive me if some of my questions have been answered. I am 32 years old, to be 33 in August. I am married with 2kids and I am the principal applicant in our quest to apply for oz PR class 189 I have B. sC in accounting MBA Over 7 years experience in banking operations although I haven't been working for over a year I wrote IELTS last year with overall score 7.5 although in general module. My questions are, can I use ielts general module for accounting occupation? Could banking operations be regarded as closely related to accounting occupation? fellow bankers Pls assist With these statistics, do I have any hope of getting at least 65? When I calculated I had 70 with spouse skill assessment, but even that we ain't too sure of because of discrepancy between course read and current occupation. Kindly advise please. |

@apextitan, there really isnt any need to be sarcastic. r u married? if yes, i suppose u shld understand that while virtually no man can do everything on this list, if you can do even 15 out of the 40 things listed here very well, ur wife wld automatically turn to an angel. women are actually simpler than men give them credit for, i''m sure even the poster doesnt expect a man to do all 40 things, men will always be men, however there are some men that still give their wives' happiness top priority and this list is just to guide those who are interested in that. |

MamaTobenna: I was surprised too cos I hrd great things, d hostesses were pleasant tho, and d food was flowing if u sabi to eat and enjoy the oyinbo food, maybe it was my imagination sha bt the first leg frm lag to dubai had more space, don't let my experience spoil urs, I was uncomfortable and my feet were swollen even with all the 2 hrs walking maybe cos I wasn't able to wiggle and stretch so much, I hope it's more comfortable for u tho, as per the wheel chair don't really know ow it works, wat I hrd was when u arrive, u wld see them and just confirm ur name, I didn't see anybody with wheel chairs and no emirates staff to confirm from, although the lady here in lag asked if I wanted from dubai or lag and I said from dubai, don't understand wat happened sha, bt u can reconfirm ow it works b4 flying. |

1sttimemom:The lagos dubai journey was a lot more comfortable for me than the dubai Dallas leg, emirates economy no get leg room at all and I was unlucky enough not to have any free space beside me, it wasn't funny, coupled with the fact that I requested for wheelchair services bt never got it, the walking at the dubai airport wasn't easy on my back at all, then when we got to Dallas after 15 hours of discomfort, I had to be on my feet for 2 hrs as there were many flights arriving at the same time, the officers no just look my side at all, dem no send me and my big belle, i tried severally to get them to help as i had to catch the flight to elpaso bt they kept insisting i had time, bt God in his infinite mercies compensated with a wonderful CBP officer. The interview was very brief, less than 5mims We said hello and he asked me where I was going, told him elpaso and he went say what? I'm from elpaso (I was so happy I knew baba GOD had taken control) and from there it was all smile, he asked if I was in the army I just laughed and said no, then he asked what I was going to do I told him vacation and to have my baby, then he said oh guess U ' ll be using --- (he was trying to remember the name of the health centre) , I reminded him and he said oh ok, bt isn't it expensive I told him yes bt it's discounted for self - pay patients, he said ok, all the time he didn't ask for any docs just told me to finger print, scanned my passport, took my pic and stamped me in for 6 months, I doubt if he even checked my visa interview transcript, na that one bin dey fear me after that I picked my bags and went to check in for the local flight (let me mention that I had to pay 60 usd for my bags on the flight to elpaso) All in all I give glory to God it was a stressful journey but the Poe experience was sweet. Checked into intown suites, I have even had my first appointment and paid the bill, na to dey wait for baby remain. Abeg I don't know ow to send pms, elpaso mums staying at intown suites, ow do we meet, this place is really quiet o 5 Likes |

I flew emirates and the journey was a journey of life, abeg preggy mama's av to be really fit as that journey no b small waka |

tanx kizluv and bloggerina (meanwhile u fit teleport the groundnut, add guguru and drink biko ), @uchetobi and anonymousmum, we had not made up our minds at the time we got the visa, and my hubby actually planned on going this year, just wanted to get feelers on our chances sha, but we r seriously avoiding problematic POEs and hoping for the best. tanx for the responses though For those that have travelled or about to travel to el-paso from Lagos, how did you buy your tickets as i am aware there are no direct flights to el-paso from Lagos, please note that we are trying to avoid Houston POE. Can any elpaso mum or dad please answer above question about purchase of tickets? tanku |

good day all, kudos to u all for the work done here for people like us to enjoy, God bless and reward u all. i have read all the pages from page 1 to 222 (not an easy task, bin on it for weeks now), just got to the end now and would like to ask some questions/seek advice, sorry if it has been mentioned, i must have missed it. 1) my husband, son and i got our b1/b2 visas september this year, the purpose when asked was for vacation, although i was 4months preg but not showing, now that we have decided to have our baby in the US, and amidst all these POS horror stories, can someone comment on our chances, we have taken preventive measures like sending a mail to the US consulate and gotten a response, we have also decided to route the journey to el-paso through new york and avoid Houston and Atlanta POEs, dont think i read anyone with a situation like ours that scaled through POE easily. 2) For those that have travelled or about to travel to el-paso from Lagos, how did you buy your tickets as i am aware there are no direct flights to el-paso from Lagos, please note that we are trying to avoid Houston POE. tanx in anticipation, abeg no take my post chop groundnut o 2 Likes |
