Please let us all be patient..I know the whole wait is very frustrating, but the truth is that: graduate recruitment like this takes lots of time. Look at KPMG, people take up to One year or more to finalize the graduate recruitment process.
I also called a friend that is already back from India and he told me that the recruitment looked fairly transparent.

If you weren't called. It's because you were selected for refinery. Truth is that everybody applied for refinery but since its a norm to them to select people for fertilizer plant they had to call them to ask if they would accept the offer because fertilizer was not what they applied for.

Actually I have never done this recruitment before.. I am just following hear say..by the way we were told that the recruitment is not predictable

Nigeria may face another $2.3bn fine in arbitration in France over an alleged breach of contract on Mambilla Hydroelectric project.

This is coming after a British commercial court awarded $9.6bn against the country in favour of Process and Industrial Development (P&ID) Company in a botched gas processing deal.

The Mambilla project is currently a subject of litigation instituted by Messrs Sunrise Power and Transmission Company Limited.


The issue in dispute, according to an online medium, is a claim by the plaintiffs that a $5.8bn contract for the construction of the Mambilla Hydroelectric Power Project on the basis of Build, Operate and Transfer exists in their favour.

They claimed that after they were duly awarded the contract in 2003, some ‘vested interests’ in government in 2017 signed another contract with three Chinese companies, Sinohhydro Corporation of China, China Ghezouba Group Corporation of China and China Geo-Engineering Group Corporation, to form a joint venture for the execution of the same project.
It further accused the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, of taking the unilateral decision to remove the company from the contract and accused the then Minister of Power, Mr Babatunde Fashola, of reneging on his promise to support the project.

As a result, the SPTCL dragged the government and its Chinese partners before the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, France, over an alleged breach of contract.

The chief executive officer of SPTCL, Leno Adesanya, claimed that the company had spent millions of dollars on financial and legal consultants to raise about $6bn for the execution of the project.

Why should we pay a $850 million to a very dubious company that never invested a kobo in Nigeria? How come some of you are so unreasonable because you hate the president? What is the justification for paying the dubious sum of $850 million to the company?

Jonathan was Vice President when the deal was signed. He became president some few months later and refused to fulfill the terms of the contract. Some few weeks to handover, he signed an out of court settlement with the company in a very dubious manner but didn’t have the balls to pay. So, you expected the new government to just hand over $850 million of Nigeria’s money to the company based on a last minute dubious negotiation? Is that how you will run Nigeria if you ever become president? Sigh!

I noticed you and some others tried sending me PM but for personal reasons my email address is not linked to my account.

Chemical and mechanical had their interview today. The refinery and petrochemical project is a mega project so more hands will be needed and much more towards startup.


For Concerns
Those called for medicals were a few from this recent batch(speaking of Refinery, i can't say for fertilizer)that had interview/ psyc just recently, and surely much more will be called as needed. Patience and faith is the key.

A lot of people don't like commenting here, and worse is if you are already a staff and it involves divulging sensitive info(in a bid not to violate any of the company's policy by chance).some of us still do because we know how it is like to wait with limited info, we all went through same and it is normal.

I hardly visit this section of NL, so may not be able to reply comments outside my mentions
