Is just 2 years into his administration, he has traveled more than any president Nigeria ever had. Mr Omokri said rather than stay in the country, Mr Buhari has travelled round the world without any addition to Nigeria’s foreign investment.

He recalled that Mr Buhari had in 2003 criticized then President Olusegun Obasanjo of junketing around the globe.

“In Nigeria's history no President has engaged in foreign travels like President Muhammadu Buhari yet never before has foreign investment dried up in Nigeria as it is today,” he wrote on his Facebook.

He added; “The funniest thing is that when President Buhari ran against then President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2003 one of his prominent campaign posters had the promise and I quote "what we will not do-spend 110 days in a year globetrotting".

I keep telling Nigerians to put these religious and church things in perspective and do thing pragmatically because they are not really what they are crooked up to be. Truth is that almost 80% of these so called clergy people are scammers.

Some people may still be asking, is this an example of the false prophets the holy books describe or just a joke? If the former, Archbishop Apostolic Movement Outreach charges more than some salary earners receive in a month for one consultation, then their is problem in the paradise.

Beware, his consultation prices will leave your mouths open. When church business becomes serious business indeed. 2019 aspirants, take note!

It seems the only thing Federal Government does this days is to sit around and watch mayhem been unleashed on its citizens and will only react if it concerns any of their friends or families. This is really in bad faith i must tell you that much. Following a distress call from EBSEMA to NEMA South East over an attack, a joint team of NEMA & EBSEMA visited the affected communities to ascertain the level of damages caused by the group.

Findings revealed that residential homes with household items and food items, farm land & economic trees, were destroyed and the affected people have fled from their homes to neighbouring communities for fears of more attack by the sect. Meanwhile, some of the IDPs are taking shelter in schools which are guided by law enforcement officers.

Below is a detailed report by African Free Press on the gruesome attack:

"On the 13th of January 2017, the people of Azuofia-Edda community of Abakaliki Local Government Area in Ebonyi State while in the comfort of their homes, on a very cold harmattan morning, sleeping, filled with dreams and plans on activities for the day, were attacked by a consortium of villages of Ofomana, Ogwurude (Ekori), Ofonama, Okinbogha, Ogamana, Ovurokponu, Okpechi, Ofenagama, Eja, and Ujitum all in Obubra Local Government Area of Cross River state.

This attack started by 4am with sporadic shootings from warriors said to have numbered over five hundred, without enough time for the villagers of Azuofia-Edda community to save their lives or properties – they were outnumbered.

These aggressors from the aforementioned Obubra villages had travelled over ten kilometres to reach the villages of Azuofia-Edda community. Villagers fleeing their homes reported that amongst the attackers were hired fighters and warriors, native doctors brandishing charms of all kinds and youths of various age groups carrying sophisticated weapons – including machine guns and Kalashnikovs, machetes, axes, motorized saws and petrol etc., with the sole aim of wiping out the villages in Azuofia-Edda community.

Costly mistake bombing on IDP Camp continues to gather momentum causing UN, UNICEF and Red Cross to react negatively regarding the accidental bombing of Rann IDP camp in Nigeria. Unfortunately for Nigeria Air Force who claimed it was a mistake, witness to the bombing says otherwise. One of the witness was quoted saying "they bombed us three times, they should stop telling Nigerians is a mistake, they knew what they are doing.

In light of these accusations and as part of investigations into the accidental bombing of an Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp in Ran Borno State, the Nigerian Air Force on Thursday inaugurated a six-man investigative panel. The panel was mandated to submit its report in two weeks.

Members of the panel are the NAF Chief of Standards and Evaluation, Air Vice-Marshal Salihu Bala-Ribah (head), Air Vice-Marshal Charles Oghomwen, Air Commodore Ayoola Jolasinmi, Group Captain Essien Efanga, Wing Commander Solmon Irmiya and Wing Commander Mohammed Muazu.

According to the Punch newspaper, the panel has summoned the Theatre Commander, Operation Lafiya Dole, Maj. Gen. Lucky Irabor; the pilots who launched the air strike, and some air officers at the Air Component base in Yola, Adamawa State.

A source at the NAF confirmed that they have been summoned.

He said, “The NAF is not treating this incident with kid’ gloves, and it is not going to spare any indicted officer. The Operation Lafiya Dole Theatre commander is top among those to be summoned by the panel. “Nothing yet has happened to the pilots because no report has indicted them. There are several procedures before you go to bomb a location; there are the Surveillance platforms and the Air Interdiction platforms.

“The panel will unravel whether surveillance was done at the location before the air strike. All these are necessary. “Also, the panel will find out if the Rann location had been an IDPs’ camp known to the military or not.”

NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Group Captain Ayodele Famuyiwa in a statement said the NAF has identified 20 witnesses the panel will invite.

Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose on Thursday emerged Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governor’s Forum. The announcement was released to the press by the governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson on Thursday night.

Dickson while addressing newsmen after the forum’s meeting said Fayose was the most senior governor under the platform of the party. He said the Ekiti State governor was collectively chosen by all other governors in the party.

In his acceptance speech, Fayose promised not to let the party down.

He also vowed to “pull down the wall of Jericho” surrounding the party. He assured that the Party would work very hard to reclaim its lost states and central government in 2019.

Fayose replaced former governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko whose tenure as governor just ended.

The FHC has adjourned the sentencing of Adaoha Ugo-Nnadi and co, who was convicted for fuel subsidy fraud last Friday, to 18th of January 2017 which is in two days time.

Mrs. Ugo-Nnadi, who was convicted alongside Walter Wagbatsoma and their company, Ontario Oil and Gas, fainted on Friday while the judge was about to read her sentence.

She was subsequently rushed to hospital and is recovering well.

No doubt, Tyranny reigns in Zimbabwe like or more than it reigns in Nigeria. The prophet who prophesied the death of their incumbent president has been arrested. Last week, the leader of Kariba Church in Zimbabwe, Prophet Patrick Mugadza was quoted:

'I just want to tell you something concerning the year 2017. It is a very special year because of number seven and at the same time also, 2017 collides with 37 years by which Zanu PF has been ruling this beautiful nation of Zimbabwe, but something is going to be happening also, which is very critical for us to know.

It was on the 26th of December 2016 when I was in prayer and God said to me this coming year 2017 the President is dying and he told me that he is dying on 17th of October.’

According to Zim Eye, a news paper outfit in Zimbabwe, the controversial prophet was arrested this morning outside the Harare Magistrates Court where he had gone for his routine remand hearing.

He’s being accused of undermining the authority of the president.

Turkey is experience a lot of challenges lately. The issue of terrorism is fast raising in the once peaceful country and another breaking news coming in this morning is the crash of a Turkish Cargo Plane. The plane crashed is Kyrgyzstan and the cause of crash is believed to be poor visibility byt they are not ruling out terrorist attack yet. According to a statement from Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Emergency Situations:

'At least 37 people were killed when a Turkish cargo plane crashed into a village in Kyrgyzstan. The number of victims is increasing quickly'.

The plane crashed at 7:18 a.m. local time about two kilometers (1.2 miles) away from the airport, according to Kyrgyzstan's state-run Kabar Agency. Poor visibility was likely a factor, Kubatbek Boronov, the minister of Emergency Situations, told Kabar. The Boeing 747 was headed from Hong Kong to Kyrgyzstan's capital of Bishek, according to data from the tracking website FlightRadar24.

The cargo plane was operated by ACT airlines, an Istanbul-based freight airline, but was flown for Turkish Airlines the country's national carrier under their flight number. ACT Airlines, which according to its website operates a fleet entirely made up of jumbo 747s, also operates as my Cargo Airlines.

At least 15 houses were destroyed as the plane appeared to overshoot its landing and hit the village of Dacha-Suu, an area popular for holiday homes One eyewitness told AFP news agency: "The plane crashed into the houses. It killed entire families. There's nothing left of the houses. Many people were sleeping"

The plane that crashed was manufactured in 2003 and it first flew for Singapore Airlines Cargo, according to flight tracking from Flightradar24 and a detailed description of the aircraft on the company's website.

It is and will always be very sad event to report someone's demise and reporting the demise of a young and enterprising man or woman is the worst thing to do. He is just 25 for God sake and he is now late. Kene Ambrose Nwokolo, the only son of a widow, Mrs Enu Nwokolo died after he was hit by some men during an 'avoidable' fracas in Anambra State on December 27th.

According to his friend, Tobenna Obiano, he fell on the tarred road by the edge of a water way and bled profusely. He was rushed to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi where he passed away.

Until Mr. Kene's demise, he was working with a new generation bank in Lagos. He will be laid to rest on January 21. Below is a tribute and details surrounding his death posted by Tobenna Obiano:
