Former ex Presidential aide Reno Omokri just don't want to stop being GEJ's aide even after office. This time he mocked the Minister of Information and culture, Lai Mohammed and the governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai for allegedly spearheading the circulation of a report which claimed that former President Goodluck Jonathan rejected British government’s offer to help rescue abducted Chibok girls. This comes as the British High Commission in Abuja, while addressing the media, dismissed the reports as ‘false’. Omokri, who took to his Facebook page to comment on the issue of the Chibok girls’ rescue, also chided the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) for devoting time to promote the propaganda. He said both Lai Mohammed and El-rufai had been silent since the rumour against Jonathan were debunked In Omokri's word: “Can Lai Mohammed and Nasir El-Rufai now bury their heads in shame as the British Government has debunked the lie that Goodluck Jonathan rejected their offer to rescue Chibok Girls? “Lai released a lying statement against Jonathan accusing him; while Elrufai, a man who cannot rescue his own citizens of Southern Kaduna and whom Olusegun Obasanjo described as a “pathological” liar with a “penchant” for character assassination in his book "My Watch" was circulating the lie on Social Media. “NTA news at 9 PM on Monday the 6th of March, 2017, was devoted to promoting this lie rather than to inform Nigerians of the good work that Acting President Osinbajo is doing. “But now that the truth is out there is total silence from both guys. I know these people very well. Please do not doubt me when I say lying is their main occupation!” APC, hmmmmmmmmmm, sometimes i still wonder why an incumbent government are still involved in propaganda. http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/03/chibok-girls-rescue-omokri-mocks-lai.html https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10211795313015580&id=1152008079

No mater what you think of him, he will always speak his mind in everything concerning Nigeria especially for the fact that he is not within reach to the DSS. Former Goodluck Jonathan's presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has asserted that Nigerians are against Muhammadu Buhari’s return to his position as President because the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo has “out-shined him.” Buhari is currently on medical vacation in London, United Kingdom, UK which is indefinite for now because no date has been set for his return and following his departure, Nigerians had continued to commend the performance of the acting President for performance. In a tweet on Reno's social media handle@renoomokri, the former Presidential aide wrote: “Osinbajo has so outshined PMB that I honestly dont know if Nigerians will want to go back to PMB’s type of governance when he comes back!” This is coming at the heels of commendation from the All Progressives Congress, APC, attributing Federal Government’s recent achievements in spite of President’s absence, to Osinbajo’s commitment and loyalty. In a statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, he said Osinbajo’s wisdom, vigour and innovativeness had been essential to the numerous achievements recorded by this administration. “At 60, Prof. Osinbajo has recorded several landmark achievements as a man of God and a man of the law,” it said. The ruling party commended Buhari for the vision and wisdom in choosing Osinbajo as his running mate. see tweet and people's reactions below... http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/03/nigerians-dont-want-buhari-again.html https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10211787285054886&id=1152008079

In a bid to stay true to Nigeria, the leading retail store in Africa, Shoprite have flagged off a campaign to promote 'Proudly made in Nigeria products'. The flagship event which took place in the Shoprite store at the Ikeja Mall had in attendance top-flight manufacturers, start-ups and members of the press. The event which is the first of its kind, aimed at strengthening the existing relationships with producers, identifying gaps, harnessing new opportunities in line with improving the Economic stability of the country, alongside creating the chance for local producers to showcase products and goods manufactured in Nigeria for export. The management of Shoprite hopes that this would encourage entrepreneurs who are in the business of production to partner with Shoprite to make Proudly Nigeria products a household name both locally and internationally. Commendable move i must confess. more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/03/great-news-shoprite-now-promote-made-in.html cc lalasticlala mynd44 missyb3 ijeybabe dominique

If you are a Chelsea fan, i can imagine how excited you are at the glance of this headline considering Chelsea match with United which is coming up sooner than later. And this ban means Zlantan will not be featured against Chelsea and another two matches. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has accepted a three-match ban for violent conduct for elbowing Bournemouth's Tyrone Mings during Saturday's 1-1 draw at Old Trafford. The Manchester United striker will miss Monday's FA Cup quarter-final at Chelsea and Premier League games against Middlesbrough and West Brom. Mings was also charged with violent conduct by the Football Association. But Bournemouth have said they will appeal against the defender's charge. Ibrahimovic, who is United's leading scorer this season with 26 goals, is eligible to play in the Europa League tie against Rostov in Russia on Thursday. He is due to return in the Premier League against Everton on 4 April according to BBC. Mings, 23, landed on the United forward's head with his studs before Ibrahimovic, 35, caught his rival in the face with his elbow at a corner. The players were given until 18:00 GMT on Tuesday to respond to the charge. Deliberate elbowing and stamping are both red card offences. However, the FA suggested Mings could face an increased ban for his offence. more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/03/man-utd-striker-zlatan-ibrahimovic.html cc ijeybabe obinoscopy lalasticlala mynd44 missyb3 dominique

This is something we don't see most of the time in Nigeria and am happy Christ National Model College have taken it upon themselves to at least re-write the face of history. Normally, when WAEC seizes results of students, they will just give one reason or the other which is usually not genuine enough for their acts and the general public will take it like that. However, a high school in Nigeria have chosen to sue WAEC on this act. Justice Nathaniel Ayo-Emmanuel of the Federal High Court, Ibadan, on Tuesday adjourned till April 6 further hearing in the case of seizure of the May/June 2015 SSCE results of Christ National Model College, Ido, Ibadan. The judge adjourned the case in order to allow the West African Examination Council (WAEC) to appear in court. Mrs Elizabeth Shittu, counsel to the plaintiff , had approached the court to order the examination body to release the 2015 May/June SSCE results of 100 of its students. According to Shittu, one of the allegations levelled against the secondary school by WAEC was that the 100 students who sat for the examination cheated. She said WAEC also alleged that the school carried out substitution of some examination papers like Animal Husbandry and English Language while the school failed to explain how the substitution was done. But the plaintiff’s counsel argued that such substitution should not have led to the cancellation of all the papers of the entire students of the school. WAEC , however, had yet to appear in court to respond to the plaintiff’s submission. I think this is a good move. What do you think? more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/03/cnm-sec-school-sues-waec-over-seizure.html cc mynd44 missyb3 dominique lalasticlala ijeybabe

Apparently recession is not only biting down in Nigerians alone. But no matter what the economy is saying, is it bad enough to make one take the life of her daughter? Zimbabwe News Paper, Zimnews reports that, a woman has reportedly killed her daughter because she cooked eggs for breakfast. They further reported that, Mercy Marigo from Gokwe, hit her daughter with a burning log of wood who then lost consciousness. Neighbours who witnessed the incident said Marigo got angry at her daughter because she cooked two eggs for breakfast without her consent and hit her head with a burning wood after which she slumped. Realizing the gravity of the action, she rushed her to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead. However, Marigo has been arrested by the police and now awaits trial at the magistrate court. more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/03/lady-kills-her-daughter-for-cooking-2.html?m=1 cc dominique ijeybabe missyb3 mynd44 lalasticlala

As President Muhammadu Buhari continues his medical vacation in the United Kingdom, there has been several reactions to how Acting President Osinbajo is handling the economy and if the Acting President might be able to get the country out of recession. The Economist, an English-language weekly magazine-format newspaper owned by the Economist Group and edited in London, thinks President Buhari is better off on medical vacation as the country economy has seen positive changes since Osinbajo took over power. Jonathan Rosenthal, the Africa editor of The Economist said: "Two years ago, Nigeria's economy was revalued and it was found to be the biggest economy on the continent.2016 became Nigeria's first year of economic recession in 25 years. "Buhari previously ruled the country in the 80's, he was a military leader, and at that time, he also faced a falling oil price and the economic shock. Unfortunately, he is making the same mistakes today as he did then. "Mr Buhari's main economic policies is to try to peg Nigeria's currency to the US dollar, trying to do this means Naira's export is too expensive and so it can't compete in the global market. "What's more interesting is that President Buhari is not even in the country during this economic crisis and in the mean time, his vice president, Yemi osinbajo is acting as the Nigeria's president. "The vice president, Osinbajo has a much more progressive stance in the economy and has made it easier to do business in the country. "As long as Buhari is till getting medical business and as long as his vice is doing competently running the country, everyone seems to be happy. Perhaps the best thing for the country right now, is for Mr Buhari to take a long convalescing before return. The Economist also said Buhari who got inaugurated soon after the collapse in global oil prices. But instead of accepting reality (exports and government revenues are dominated by the black stuff), he reverted to policies he implemented when last in power in the 1980s, namely propping up the currency. This has led to shortages of foreign exchange, squeezing imports. The central bank released the Naira from its peg of 197-199 to the dollar in June 2016, but panicked when it collapsed, pinning it again at around 305. Meanwhile, Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday, March 2, in Abuja canvassed robust international collaboration for the return of Nigeria’s stolen assets abroad. Osinbajo made the plea while opening a two-day National Dialogue on Corruption, organised by the Office of the Vice President and the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC). more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/03/is-better-for-nigeria-if-buhari-remains.html?m=1 cc lalasticlala dominique

A Brazilian court has ruled that Brazilian football legend, Pele‘s son who was convicted of money laundering and drug trafficking, must begin serving nearly 13 years in prison. Edson Cholbi do Nascimento was originally sentenced to 33 years in 2014. But due to a lengthy appeals process, the 46-year-old did not serve the sentence until the new court ruling was handed down on Friday, February 24, 2017. The judge who presided over the case reduced the sentence to 12 years and 10 months. Edinho who was a goalkeeper for several clubs in Brazil in the 1990's, including Pele's home club FC Santos maintained his innocence and vowed to continue fighting the charges. His father Pele is yet to comment on the sentencing. 'I am very frustrated because I am being accused of money laundering and I never did that, there is no evidence of that,' he told reporters. more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/02/brazilian-peles-son-convicted-for-drug.html cc dominique lalasticlala issyb3 ijeybab mynd44

A little tour about Nigeria in Google and most of the foreign media, one will get discouraged and curse this great country. But is Nigeria what Google says it is? Or is Nigeria what foreign media says it is? You as a person have the choice to choose what to believe.
