Celebrities › Man Reportedly Abandons Family After Wife Gives Birth To 3rd Set Of Twins by morereb10(op): 5:14pm On Jul 03, 2015
A 34 year old man named Citizen Emeka Benjamin Uche fled his home & remained incommunicado after his wife, Ruth, informed him that her third pregnancy was a set of twins - the couple's third set. A distraught Uche upon hearing the news left their home in Agege in February this year. He hasn't been heard from since then.

The couple welcomed their first set of twin, both girls – Goodness and Goodnews in 2009 and in 2011 welcomed another twins – a boy and a girl, named John and Joyce.

Ruth, who gave birth to the couple's third set of twins, Daniel and Daniella last month, was at the Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa yesterday July 2nd with her six children, to solicit for government's assistance.

Speaking with newsmen, Ruth said

“I met my husband in 2002 but we got married in 2008. We met in the village at Umuahia. I don’t want to leave the children and run away. This is why I want government to help us. I was using traditional way of family planning where I calculate some days before having intercourse. It was working for me. You can see my first set of twins is four years old. You know as women, we cannot deny our husband that thing whenever they request for it. Whenever I mistakenly take in, he would say that I was pretending.

Sometimes, I would go through long process to abort the pregnancy. After that, another one would happen. I would still have to go through the process again to abort it. When this one happened he still insisted that I was pretending until the pregnancy became obvious. My Church was responsible for the payment of the first delivery. The church paid N120, 000 for the delivery of the first set of twins.

The two deliveries of the twins have been through Caesarean Section for which we paid N120, 000 each. The last twins are through normal delivery. Since I gave birth to the children, I have tried calling my husband but he would not pick once he knows that it is me. I contacted his mother and other relatives to tell them that he has run away. They promised that they will call back. Since then, none of them has called me. It is not easy for me at all. I know only two of his relations. One of them lives in Ikorodu; the other one lives at Ajegunle.

My elder brother, who could have also helped, is very angry with me for giving birth to another set of twins. He warned me before not to have any other child after the two sets of twins, especially with the kind of husband I have. I cannot put my hands in blood shedding by committing abortion.

Celebrities › There Is Nothing Like ‘mr. Right’ To Me – Susan Peters by morereb10(op): 3:53am On Jul 02, 2015
Nollywood actress Susan Peters has stated that she doesn’t believe there is any man worthy enough to bare the title — ‘Mr. Right’.

In an interview with Encomium expressed her thoughts on the issue. “There is nothing like Mr. Right, you will wait forever if you are looking for that. No one is perfect, just deal and learn to adjust to ones flaws.

Human beings just like to deceive themselves. I am waiting for a rich guy or I’m waiting for a born again Christian. There is no such thing, only few people have the true meaning of fear of God. As each day passes, we offend God with our thoughts and words, and God still forgives. Those who claim Mr. Right are the ones who end up betraying” she said.

“For the records, everyone’s father trained them to the level they are, so both parties should be able to train each other if they are willing to learn. I too have my flaws but a man who truly loves me and not my person will be able to deal with it” she further said.

In November 2014, Susan Peters gave an advice to women. “If you misuse your body when you are growing up, it will definitely tell on you when you are ageing” she said. - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/07/there-is-nothing-like-mr-right-to-me.html#sthash.9kyRDDt0.dpuf

Celebrities › Nollywood Lesbians Threatening To Kill Me If I Don’t Join Them - Sochima Ezeoke by morereb10(op): 4:26pm On Jul 01, 2015
Nollywood actress Sochima Ezeoke has exposed some lesbians in the entertainment industry threatening to kill her over an interview she granted to a Kenyan journalist last year.

Hear what Sochima said in a recent chat with NG.

I hear that lesbians hardly take their eyes off pretty girls like you. Have they ever ‘toasted’ you in the industry?
I have experienced it severally both in and outside the industry. It got to a point that they threatened to blackmail me or kill me if I refuse to yield. They would call me and say that if I refuse to succumb to their advances, they would sponsor damaging publications against me. I took it as empty threats until they started sponsoring unspeakable publications against me on the social media. They even turned it to be that I was the one wooing girls to be my lovers.

Why did they go to the extent of threats and blackmails?
I think it was as a result of an interview that I granted a certain Kenyan journalist in Kenya. After the interview was published, a lot of people who saw it were calling to commend me. But these people were pissed off. They were like, ‘Okay, you think you are the only good girl in Nollywood? There is nothing like good girl in Nollywood. If you don’t join us, we will deal with you’. They were calling me and sending text messages, sometimes anonymous, and my brother kept replying them. In fact, they even threatened to kill me before I celebrated my last birthday in October 2014. And at a time, I had to even dump Facebook. But seeing that all their evil plots failed, they recently started apologising through calls and text messages secretly.

Why didn’t you give in to save your life?
Sochima can’t! I will never do that in my life. I grew up in a Catholic family where we were taught to stay off sin that would prevent us from receiving the Holy Communion every Sunday. I grew up with that consciousness – always working on it and looking forward to receive the Holy Communion on Sunday. Even at the university, I kept on pushing for that. But as a beautiful girl, like you earlier described me, it was not easy. But I kept pushing on.

Did you also withstand the men all through; do you have a boyfriend in line with the saying that body no be wood?
I am still single.

Is marriage in your plan presently, at least to set you free from lesbians and male admirers?
(Laughter) Don’t worry when I’m ready, I’ll invite you.

But is there any man on the waiting list, so I would know how to go about my candidacy, that’s if I’m your kind of man?
(Laughs) You are free to join the queue. But sincerely speaking, there are several available suitors, but I am praying for divine guidance so I don’t make any mistake.

Sochima recently finished shooting a movie titled Amanda my village wife part 2 with Kenneth Okonkwo. - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/07/nollywood-lesbians-threatening-to-kill.html#sthash.aK6Ew8jP.dpuf

She is one woman that has decided to be different. To her, the saying, ‘what a man can do, a woman can do even better’ isn’t just a cliché. She walks and works in a man’s world, and has made a huge success of it. Her name is Sandra Aguebor, and she’s regarded as Nigeria’s first female mechanic.

And through her efforts, very soon, female motor mechanics might dominate the automobile industry in Nigeria, with the recent campaign by Aguebor who is also the founder, Lady Mechanic Initiative (LMI).

Working in collaboration with MacAthur Foundation based in the United States, her group launched a catch-them-young programme tagged, After School Club Project, for public schools in Lagos State to groom young female students for gainful employment.

At the induction ceremony of 30 female students drawn from Government Technical College, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Oregun Junior High School and Agidingbi Junior Grammar School, Aguebor recalled her humble beginning as a motor mechanic. In her words at the event, according priority to technical skills would reduce the high unemployment in the country. The woman informed her audience that she started her apprenticeship in a motor mechanic workshop during her early days in secondary school, a decision she never regretted till date.

The induction ceremony, which was held at the premises of GTC, Agidingbi, had in attendance board members of the Lady Mechanic Initiative, alumni members of the group, other female mechanics, principals of the participating schools and other eminent guests.

Aguebor said her group established a partnership with the Lagos State Technical and Vocational Education Board (LASTVEB) to commence the programme, noting that the project was introduced to the benefiting students at no cost. She said the students would rather become members of the parent body, the Lady Mechanic Initiative and have access to its numerous empowerment programme for women.

“The inducted students are now pioneer members of the Lady Mechanic After School Club. The club is all about imparting technical skills to the young students at the early stage of their education in secondary schools. From JS 2 to JS3, they will be able to know how automobile works, how vehicles move, what makes the tyres roll and so on,” she said. -

Celebrities › Nollywood Actress Disgraceful For Stealing Again by morereb10(op): 7:45am On Jun 29, 2015
The Nollywood actress Yetunde Akilapa has reportedly been disgraced as she was caught stealing once again.

Recently she was almost beaten to death by a mob in Magodo for breaking into a man’s flat with the help of a master key. The young actress, who has already been branded the name-thief, stole from her boss, where she is currently undergoing training in cosmetic makeup.

It was reported that the boss had just brought into the country iphones, laptops and other gadgets. Later at night after everybody had gone home, Yetunde went back with a master key.

She gained entrance to the store and took away some iphones, ipads and laptops. On her way out, someone spotted her. She was detained and later arrested but as usual, she blamed it on the devil and the strange voice she claims she usually hears that urges her to go and steal.

The shop owner, who later rushed to the scene, called in the police who took her away. But two days after, Yetunde was released which made the boss upset. She then called in another set of policemen who have now re-arrested her. - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/06/disgraceful-nollywood-actress-caught.html#sthash.hKEd4GQc.dpuf

Maria Nelly Murillo, 18, and her one-year-old son were found by rescuers near to where their small Cessna plane crashed in Choco province. Ms Murillo had some injuries and burns while her baby appeared to be in good health.

The twin-engine plane had been flying from Quibdo, the capital of Choco, to the town of Nuqui on the Pacific coast when it crashed in the Alto Baudo region on Saturday. The cause of the crash is not yet known.
Baby Yudier Moreno was held by a rescuer on the flight back to Quibdo

A 14-person team scoured the jungle for three days before finding them.

"It's a miracle. It is a very wild area and it was a catastrophic accident," Colonel Hector Carrascal of the Colombian Air Force told AFP news agency. Of the baby, he said: "His mother's spirit must have given him strength to survive."

Celebrities › Customers Accuse Banks Of Unlawful Enforcement Of BVN Registration by morereb10(op): 5:49am On Jun 25, 2015
By Emma Okonji: Source: Thisday Live

The manner in which some deposit money banks are implementing the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN’s) directive on Bank Verification Number (BVN), is becoming a source of worry to some concerned bank customers.

CBN had directed all banks to ensure that their customers register for BVN before June 30th, 2015, in order to protect all online financial transactions from fraudulent attacks.

Ahead of the June 30 deadline, some banks were said to have started denying customers who have not registered for BVN, from carrying out certain financial transactions, irrespective of the urgency and importance of such transactions.

Narrating his ordeal to THISDAY on Tuesday, the President of Information Technology System and Security Professionals (ITSSP), Mr. Rogba Adeoye, alleged that other banks’ customers were prevented from carrying out certain financial transactions in UBA, even as the deadline had not elapsed.

Describing the development as “blatant abuse of personal rights, without recourse to the purpose for which the transaction was meant for”, Adeoye said: "If a First Bank customer for instance, wants to transfer money from UBA to a UBA account holder who needs the money as deposit for medical bills before commencement of treatment in a hospital, the person will not be allowed to do so just because he or she is yet to register for BVN, whose registration deadline is June 30, 2015.”

Adeoye who said he witnessed how people were turned back from one of the UBA branches, called on UBA and other banks to allow customers the freedom to carry out financial transactions without intimidation. He said it would be proper for banks to create enough awareness on the need for customers to register for BVN and then wait till after June 30, 2015, before enforcing it.

Looking at it from a social security point of view, Adeoye told THISDAY that enforcing the BVN policy before the expiration of the deadline is not only premature, but also amounts to abuse of fundamental human rights. People on emergency mission will be deprived of their rights and this could be disastrous to an individual, family and nation, he added.

He advised banks to develop software that will address fraud in the financial sector, rather than denying people from carrying out financial transactions, for the mere reason that they were yet to register for BVN.
Adeoye equally called on the apex bank, the CBN, to urgently look into the matter.

Adeoye who frowned on the manner in which different government agencies carry out individual biometric registration, said the multiplicity of registration from different groups like telecoms operators on SIM card registration, National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) on national identity card registration, Federal Road Safety Corps on Driver's Licence registration, coupled with banks's registration on BVN, have defeated the purpose of achieving a single database for Nigeria, through a single registration from an authorised government agency. - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/06/customers-accuse-banks-of-unlawful.html#sthash.Ywrw9bOY.dpuf

Romance › EFCC Arraigns Two Suspected Fraudsters For $2.25m Scam by morereb10(op): 10:27pm On Jun 24, 2015
Find the EFCC Press statement below

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arraigned Alhaji Yerima Suleiman and Mr. Uwem Essien Antia before Justice Lawal Akapo of a Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja on a four-count charge bordering on conspiracy, obtaining money by false pretence and forgery. Yerima and Antia ran into troubles, when they were arrested in March, 2015 by operatives of the EFCC for allegedly stealing the sum of $2,250,000 (Two Million, Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand United States Dollars) from two bankers: Aginwa Gladys and Ale Dennis.

The suspects allegedly approached Aginwa and Dennis in February, 2015, offering to sell foreign exchange to the tune of $10,000,000 USD to them. After agreeing on the exchange rate, a sum of N672, 750, 000 (Six Hundred and Seventy Two Million, Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira only) was transferred from BlueBeam Capital Investment Limited and Capital Field Investment and Trust Limited into the account of one of the bankers: Smiles and Light Limited.

It was from the banker's account that the entire sum was moved into Antia’s account: Kafisto Oil and Gas Limited. Findings showed that the entire sum of N672, 750,000 actually hit Antia's account. A Bureau de Change operator who changed the money into its dollar equivalent, told EFCC's investigators that he went with Antia to his bank, along Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, where the transaction was confirmed. The Bureau de Change operator further revealed that, Antia subsequently transferred the sum of N666, 250,000(Six Hundred and Sixty- Six Million, Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira only) into his own account.

He said he worked out the dollar equivalent of the money, which was $3,127,000 (Three Million, One Hundred and Twenty- Seven Thousand United States Dollar). He said he could only give $3,124,000(Three Million, One Hundred and Twenty-Four Thousand Dollar) to Antia, leaving a balance of $3,000(Three Thousand Dollar), which he promised to give him the next day. Immediately Antia collected the foreign exchange, he reportedly headed for Number 17A, Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, where the two bankers and his accomplice, Suleiman were waiting for him. However, rather than handing over the entire foreign exchange to the bankers, he only gave them $1,000,000(One Million Dollars), claiming that he could not source the entire amount. He allegedly promised to give them a balance of $2,250,000 (Two Million, Two Hundred and Twenty- Five Thousand Dollar) the next day. - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/06/efcc-arraigns-two-suspected-fraudsters.html#sthash.OzrxXVFJ.dpuf

Celebrities › Shocking Confessions From An Internet Fraudstar by morereb10(op): 10:44pm On Jun 22, 2015
Report sent in by freelance Nigerian journalist, Ihechukwu Njoku about a fraudster who made some shocking confessions at the Synagogue church recently. Read below...

A Nigerian internet fraudster known as the ‘king of dating’ for his sophisticated tactics of online manipulation has given an eye-opening confession at a Lagos-based church. Samuel Johnson, an Edo State indigene, explained that his journey into advanced internet scamming began in The University of Port Harcourt after he joined the ‘’ cult.

“I followed them into a very thick forest during the night of initiation,” the young man narrated. He was just 19 years old at the time. “We reached a place where there was a candle and a coffin encircled by 50 young men. They tortured us with canes until we started bleeding. They then cut my tongue on a razor blade and gave me something to drink.”

The quiet, intelligent student changed drastically from that day onward. “It was like I had two people living inside me,” he recalled. “I became very aggressive. I had this strength to want to steal and started stealing from people. I also started smoking and drinking excessively. Anytime I drank, it’s like I became stronger.”

A cult friend into online fraud, popularly known as 419, soon egged him into joining. However, for Samuel, there was a strange, spiritual element to his deceptive tricks. “There was a spirit inside me that kept teaching me. I was not just any fraudster; I learned it from meditating on it. It was inbuilt. Even if I walked into a room and money was kept there, I would know where to find it.”

Starting by procuring foreign sim-cards from UK and USA so as to deceive potential victims, Samuel specifically targeted wealthy foreign ladies in North America. “I had pictures and pre-recorded videos of a white man. There is software which will replay these videos on Skype. So, if I am Skyping with you, you will not see my present self – you would see this video on a webcam. I had about 20 different videos with the same white man and I had created stories behind each clip. When I showed my victims, they all believed it was real.”

Johnson explained Facebook was the easiest way to attract prospective ‘customers’ and he had fixed a fake profile using the same pictures in the doctored videos he owned. “I would tell them I was an engineer who worked and lived in London, that I am rich and wealthy. I wouldn’t tell them I’m not rich; it was the money I used to drag them towards me.”

Johnson explained how he used his boast of huge wealth to lull victims into a false sense of security. “Sometimes I would ask them to help me look for a property agent to buy a house. I would tell them I am ready to pay for the house as soon as I come. I would send them a fake e-ticket and tell them I would be arriving in two weeks. I even had a pre-recorded video of a 12 year old girl who I pretended was my daughter. I had this assistant who would help me in speaking like a small girl. There is no way you would see that video on Skype and not believe it is real. They buy into it immediately. That was how I was able to draw them to get money from them.”

To gain added confidence, Samuel would ensure an emotional attachment was fostered. “You make it look real. I would send them gifts – rings, champagne, credit cards to shop. We would have ‘phone intimacy’ to draw their attention even more – that is how they believed. Sometimes, I could be talking to 10 different women simultaneously and I never forgot their names.”

Once such naïve trust was established, extorting money was relatively easy, the former fraudster explained. “I would tell them to contact my bank. Once they give me their details, I would make a fake wire transfer. They would see the money moving into their account. When it stops, I would tell them that they have to contact the bank and pay the ‘cost of transfer’.”

The expert duper would even go to the extent of getting personal bank details of his foreign victims, and then call their bank pretending to be an owner of the account, change information and request for a huge loan.

Money flowed freely. “I could make $30,000, $80,000 - even $250,000 on a single victim. I was living in very luxurious and expensive hotels. I moved to Omole Phase One, Ikeja and lived in an apartment for which I paid N1.5m every year. I bought all my properties in one day. I was lavishing it. I would buy Hennessy every day. I had to drink. The thing is – I needed to alcohol in order for me to perform,” he recounted.

Johnson explained that his preferred victims were those who were high-ranking, intelligent professionals. “We preferred people who were educated – people that would say, ‘It is not possible for me to be scammed’. I attacked lawyers through Yellow Pages in USA. I would tell the lawyer that someone owes me money from Michigan and the person is living in Alaska. The person the lawyer would contact in Alaska would be me also. Once he talked to this ‘person’, I would say, ‘I really owe him money and I want to pay back $300,000’. I would send the lawyer a cheque and once I sent it, they would not find out from the bank if the cheque was real; they would just deposit it.”

Johnson gained such a reputation for his scamming tricks that he began teaching others, even foreigners. “I had many boys that I was training. They called me the ‘king of dating’ because I always got what I wanted. Sometimes I would be invited to Benin or Lagos to teach fraud. I even trained grown men who were 40 to 45 years old. Some were not even black or Nigerian; some where white. They called themselves diplomats but carried fake money.”

With the words, ‘Money; power; respect’ tattooed on Samuels’ arm, it served as a constant reminder of his mission. “That was the law I lived under,” he explained. “Sometimes, if I had emotions towards the people I was defrauding, this tattoo would remind me of why I entered this business in the first place. I would say there was no mercy.”

Samuel said he had lost count of the people he had deceptively stolen money from online. “I derived pleasure in doing it. It made me feel strong – that I could make people do what I wanted them to do. I did not do this alone. I had bankers as friends who helped me out. In fact, the money I tipped them with would be more than their salary for the whole year.”

However, despite the flamboyance and lavish lifestyle, Samuel said his life was bereft of joy and the money was merely fleeting. “Whenever I got this money, it was like chaff before the wind – it would blow away. I never enjoyed it for one day. I would always fight and beat any girl I was dating. There was such anger, like there was someone living inside me. My life was upside down. I would always fear that I would be involved in an accident. If I was crossing the road, even if there was no car coming, I would run. I was living in isolation. I never came out during the day. Everything was troubling me. I never had peace. My heart was beating fast. I behaved like someone was chasing me whereas no one was chasing me.”

When a close friend and fellow fraudster was shot dead point-blank at the tender age of 23, Samuel was rudely jolted back to reality. His life was a mess. His dreams were dominated by violent attacks and sexual encounters. He needed help. When an evangelist came knocking at his door, Samuel knew it was the voice of God speaking – he needed Divine intervention to start afresh.

That night, Samuel had an unusual dream. A pastor he had only seen on a few occasions on television came with a message. “I saw TB Joshua in my dream. He told me to fast for three days,” he stated. Complying with the instruction in the Heavenly visitation, Samuel began nursing the desire to visit Joshua’s church in Lagos, The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN).

It was on the ‘prayer line’ at The SCOAN that Samuel experienced what he termed ‘deliverance’. “When the man of God touched me, I immediately saw myself facing a judge. I felt something in between my chest starting to pop out. I then felt like something left me and before I knew it, I saw myself on the floor.”

After the prayer, Samuel testified that he has stopped smoking, drinking and has comipletely stopped his fraudulent activities. His advice is short but concise. “The only way you can achieve greatness is when you have Christ in your heart. Always watch and pray. Don’t just click on any link. Don’t just share your information with anyone. If they send you an email, saying they need your information to change something – don’t listen to them. Depend only on God.”

Two suicide bombers that snuck their way into crowded Maiduguri fish market and waited upon innocent traders to converge for prayers before detonating themselves had caused the death of at least 30 persons, according to witnesses account.

Hospital sources confirmed that about 30 persons had died and many others injured.

The two suicide bombers were identified as teenage females who concealed lethal explosives in their hijabs.

A witness told PREMIUM TIMES that while the girl that caused the first blast was able to kill many traders and injured several others, the second one who appeared to have developed cold feet after the first attack, blew herself up as she was fleeing away from the crowded market.

Idrissa Idi, who retails smoked fish in the market told journalists in an interview he granted in Hausa said, “the two young girls that caused the explosions were in their teenage ages”.

“The first girl waited for the traders to commence prayers before she crept upon them and detonated the bomb, killing a large number of persons and injuring many. Some of our fellow traders said they saw the young girl wandering about shortly before the prayers,” he said.

“We all heard the second explosion coming not less than five minutes after the first blast. Those that were close to the scene said they spotted the female teenager running before she blew herself up, near BEWAC complex along Baga road,” Idi said.

Other witnesses said the girl may have suddenly become scared following the way people reacted to the first blast.
She did not go very far from the market when she exploded also, and she was the only one that died, the witnesses said. - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/06/update-30-killed-in-maiduguri-fish.html#sthash.kLs3z6j7.dpuf

Celebrities › Imported Frozen Chicken & Turkey Could Contain Toxins Dangerous To Health' Read! by morereb10(op): 3:06pm On Jun 22, 2015
A recent study has confirmed that meat, especially red meat is not the healthiest thing for the body.

In the study, it was found that imported processed chicken and turkey were preserved with a high level of formalin, a chemical that can be injurious to health when consumed in high quantities.

According to nutritional enzymologist, Dr. Okhiomah Abu, who was also one of the researchers, poultry products imported into the country contain toxic and heavy metals that could worsen the occurrence of food-borne diseases.

“Most of the feeds given to these poultry animals are usually contaminated and they contain metals. The heavy metals are concentrated in the kidneys and livers of the chicken. They also find them difficult to excrete, so they are passed along to humans who eat these imported meats." he said.

Prof. C.I. Alarima, another researcher said the study also shows that processed poultry products, especially chicken and turkey, were loaded with harmful microbes such as Salmonella, which have been linked with life-threatening food-borne diseases.

He added that Salmonella infection is the leading cause of food-related deaths among those who eat processed meats, furthermore "bacteria can provoke a number of symptoms of the disease within 72 hours of exposure and could last for four to seven days.”

Professor of Radiology at the University Teaching Hospital, Enugu, Ifeoma Okoye, also blamed increasing intake of processed foods, which are loaded with toxins, for the increasing incidence of cancer.

She further noted that many processed foods, such as instant noodles or spaghetti made with refined white flour chips and candies contain carcinogenic compounds, which are usually the root cause of cancer.

Okoye also pointed out that adults are not the only ones at the risk of the dangers of processed meals as parents now load their childrens' meals with processed foods such as biscuits and snacks made from processed flour.

She linked this to the increasing incidence of childhood and teenage cancers - See more at: http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/06/imported-frozen-chicken-turkey-could.html#sthash.4uuBq7Vl.dpuf
