U did not observe anything good in Igboland to talk about , our hospitality, openmindedness, beautiful ladies all over, etc. Both of u are simply "sense men wey dey shit for foolish woman backyard". Nwanna, I really sympathize with you. It is not all your fault. Your parents, guardian or benefactor must share the blame too. ![]() Unarguably, we are all descendants of one man called Adam but God in His wisdom divided mankind into different languages and tongues. Yet, many still think the world will be a better place if we all speak same language. Broda, please try and learn the language. Thank goodness we are in Infotech age. You can do so no matter wherever, whenever and however. Please do that now! Ndeewwwoooo! |
Wikipedia - the free encyclopedia reveals that "Their ancestors are from Igboland", talking about the Idomas. In my opinion, I do not think the totality of Idomas are Igbos. However, some Igbo communities may have erroneously been carved into Benue State during state creations. I must confess that the Idomas have proven to be good neighbours of Ndigbo overtime. They are perhaps one of few, if not the only Igbo neighbours that identify with us. Unfortunately, many Igbo communities that are in South South and even in South East have consistently denied their Igbo origin. For example, the people of Asaba, Onitsha, Ogbaru, Ukwuani, Ikwere, Etche, Egbema, Uguta, Agbor etc. These only claim to be Igbos when it is convenient. By the way who cares? Igbos are more than enough! Igbo Kwenu! Kwenu!! Kwezuonu!!! |

Why Not? A relation is a relation and an inlaw, an inlaw. Afterall, the Elders do say that when a track (road) is smooth, the traveller will want to go through it again and again. This is why it's important for us to establish and maintain a cordial relationship with our inlaws. Another commandment: Inlaws be nice to your inlaws. ![]() ![]() |
NA WA FOR NAIJA! THIS ONE NA PURE BAD BELLE! You wey dey condemn others, how real are u? |
Tufiakwa!!! (abomination) Whoever did this research must be crazy. Why was Onitsha DIALECT used as case study? (Note: Onitsha dialect connotes the Igbo language as spoken by Onitsha indigenes). Are the people of Onitsha Igbos? Why not Enugu, Nnewi, Umuahia, Orlu, Awka, Owerri, etc. Akwa uwa! |
IMO is fully represented. ![]() |
