daveP: We are one of the most structured in Europe. Those two are the only ones that do stuff outside the structure and got a result from it
Take for example, Bellingham's post match interview with dem Rio and Carragher, he explains how Don Carlo allows freedom of play compared to well structured teams like city and arsenal. How it grows confidence as they all know how they needed to do better if an error occured even if fans didn't notice. Plus the stakes are high again. oh... ok |

germaphobe: During Emery's time the transfer market wasn't this high. In all this back and forth argument, what I know is that Arteta is not leaving Arsenal at the end of season, yes he fxcks up but sometimes the players have to share the blame and not the coach. Would we be here with all these write ups if Arsenal made use of the chances vs Villa at first half?, Would we have crashed out if white had scored that 2nd goal instead of blast at Neur?, What if Gabriel, Saliba and Raya maintained composure at the back, would we have conceded those kind of goals. Some days you guys are compliment Teta for his in-game management and how he has improved greatly on that, and other days we slaughter him here for same. Mistakes are part of the game, losses happen from time to time cus you can't always win, but getting pessimistic and emotional after each loss isn't really my thing. Honourable, off mic please.... You have said it all. My issues with Arteta are the rookie mistakes he made in those two matches. He shouldn't be making such mistakes at this stage. Let's see what he has for us tomorrow. We might draw that match and use Chelsea to pick form. I've seen this script before. |

daveP: Do you agree with him? He opines that the fact that Odegaard is the best in all Europe for this is a bad sign for the most creative player in our team. It is not a bad sign. Ode is good at what he does so also are dynamic 10s like KDB. The analysis is even faulty because we don't play with number 10. It is left for the club to sign a no 10 to complement Odegaard. |

TheGoodJoe: Definitely, we should expect more of Taka than Tiki Taka. I think coaching schools should make thesis of prospective coaches public to give us insight into their general ideas of the game.
I am expecting good build up plays but with high tempo. Wing exploits with intensity and ferocity.
Also, compact defense but the defending unit will be fluid. Press high, and if we don't get the ball, fall back with pace. Then press in zonal setups of twos and threes.
Either way, I want to see a quick rise in our possessive play. I want us keeping the ball longer than we used to. That should be paramount.
Either way I love tiki Taka. I've been wanting to ask. What is the difference between tiki and taka? |

In addition to the budget granted by the Kroenke house this summer, Arsenal is expected to collect a decent amount of money from the sale of players:
Thomas Partey – the player who has not been used too much since coming back after injury is still receiving interest from large Saudi clubs.
Aaron Ramsdale is receiving interest from Chelsea and Newcastle, some foreign teams are also following the goalkeeper.
Eddie Nketiah – the striker priced at £30m+ is attracting the attention of Crystal Palace and West Ham.
Emile Smith Rowe is being targeted by a series of clubs in England.
Zinchenko’s future at Arsenal is uncertain because we have no renewal move even though Zinky has only 2 years left.
In addition, Reiss Nelson or Leandro Trossard is likely to leave the Emirates Stadium if Arsenal receive a sufficient weight offer and if we want to change drastically in the wing corridor.
A range of loan players such as Kieran Tierney, Nuno Tavares, Sambi Lokonga or Marquinhos will also be taken to the TTCN this summer.
Arsenal will continue to add strong personnel but we are expected to say goodbye to many players after this season …!
Your thoughts....

TheSuperNerd: Ugbade had Cletus and Olowoporoku in that team. The youngest midfielders but the most talented alongside Linus. But he kept playing this heavy looking #18. Very annoying.
And it was the quarter finals actually vs Burkina Faso. We crashed out and could make the Semis and thus missed the WC. Oh yea... it was the quarter final truly. I hope that olowoporoku and Cletus are still within the age bracket especially the former. If I remember correctly, he was very short but fast.(silva-esque) I enjoyed that team. TheSuperNerd: I still remember that bad ass midfield we paraded at the Wafu B last time out. MRI knocked them all out ahead of the U17 Afcon and we suffered for it. Ugbade struggled to get us going in that midfield dept as only Linus looked like one who could hold his own.
Basil Mbata, Ozor Okeke, Ebube Okere, Raphael Oyebanjo. Damn it man! What a midfield that was. I think the team's problem was the lack of synergy in the midfield and the rigidity of the coach. I don't know why he was scared to make changes. I remember that final, we were struggling to hold the midfield until it was late, and he he brought in Cletus (the guy with Rasta). Watching that guy play, I wondered why he was kept on bench till that moment. Ugbade destroyed that team. |

Currently in the Eagles: - Kelechi Iheanacho - Wilfred Ndidi - Francis Uzoho - Victor Osimhen - Samuel Chukwueze
Others (have played for the Eagles but not recently): - Chidera Ejuke - Kelechi Nwakali - Isaac Success - Kingsley Michael (made his debut under Rohr but has faded from the scene now) Ok. Never knew he worked with some names on this list which led to that question. |

Pep Guardiola couldn't win the Champions league in 4 attempts with a Bayern Munich super team. It took Pep Guardiola 7/8 attempts to win the Champions league with Manchester City. Klopp has only one Champions league trophy in his entire managerial career. Mourinho was hired by Real Madrid and given unlimited resources to deliver the Champions league and he failed. It's only Mikel Arteta who's expected to win it with his first attempt. I know where we were before this man and where we are at the moment. Call it a blind faith or whatever but I'm not giving up on him. We fall short, rise up and go again until we make it Mikel. https://twitter.com/WelBeast/status/1780856181444997197?t=1LnRUIgM_Ho93O5ODVo_hA&s=08 |
