To get a coach for SE don take 3 months. Ordinary check person records. Check his philosophy, ask am questions about his formation. Ask am to know how much he knows about Ng SE players strengths and weaknesses. 3 months don pass. Too much interest don enter d selection process. Press & bloggers & some govt money bags dey support Paul. NFf officials dey support Apollos. Sports ministry dey support Onesimus.
They gotta strike their own deal which is not going to be easy now. That actually takes more time than other things.

Pep Guardiola couldn't win the Champions league in 4 attempts with a Bayern Munich super team.

It took Pep Guardiola 7/8 attempts to win the Champions league with Manchester City.

Klopp has only one Champions league trophy in his entire managerial career.

Mourinho was hired by Real Madrid and given unlimited resources to deliver the Champions league and he failed.

It's only Mikel Arteta who's expected to win it with his first attempt.

I know where we were before this man and where we are at the moment. Call it a blind faith or whatever but I'm not giving up on him.

We fall short, rise up and go again until we make it Mikel.

If they were not scared, they would have tried to play. Parked bus is for teams that lack guts and the capacity to face a stronger opponent.
They actually controlled you, you said they were scared. They forced you to play a game you're not prepared for and your team didn't have an answer. That is shameful!!! Very shameful! One would expect your long term strategy to be foolproof

The game entered penalties because Real Madrid were too scared to play and chose to sit back with 10 men in the box.
If they were scared, what stopped you from dealing with them with your long term strategy? Like, did they stopped you from scoring?

That is to you. To me, it is a clear sign of how far we have grown. To the point Real Madrid are scared of us and had to apply Rohr's tactics.
Applying Rohr's tactic doesn't mean they're scared of you. It is your ego talking. If with your long term strategy, you couldn't break them down for a whole 120 minutes, then it is a shame.

Penalties. It can go anyway. I wonder who demands respect for Penalties. Last last, Real Madrid parked bus for Manchester City.

The game shouldn't have entered PK with the way you hyped your long term strategy here. They nullified your long term strategy and sent you parking from UCL. That's what matter most

Real Madrid chose to park bus because they knew the effect of our long term strategy. Remember, Real Madrid parked bus yesterday against. Let it sink in. The kings of Europe parked bus against us. They won by penalties which is a 50/50 chance thing.

Finito.
That they parked the bus against you is not an achievement for you. Your long term strategy couldn't save you when it mattered most.

Declining from last season where we cleared everything including the Champions League and club world cup. Got Real Madrid, Kings of Europe to park bus and outplayed them in every sector of the game.

Your 'we pinned them back for 120 minutes' didn't give you victory yesterday. That is the point. Know when to give credit to the opposition.

We have dominated English football, won the Champions League, and broken most EPL records. Haha. The man has over performaned and is still performing. We got Madrid pinned in their post for most of 120mins. Give respect.
That still doesn't erase the fact that Madrid eliminated you yesterday. We're talking about how your long term couldn't win you the game yesterday and not about what Pep has achieved.

That’s cause you’re one of Arteta biggest supporter on this thread even when some have been calling for his sack, you stood by him

I also hate mediocrity, like you said Saliba injury was the excuse last season but this season was his fault entirely. Bayern loss wasn’t as painful as Villa loss to Me cause the top was offered to him on a platter of gold and he decided to blow it all by himself.

That Arteta sef ehn, that excuse of 30goal striker ought to put him behind bars considering the amount he spent so far with nothing to show for it, when he was buying Harvertz instead of the striker, he could’ve get a decent striker for that fee but baba for his choice and now complaining about not having a 30goal striker.

Moreover, five years is enough to prove yourself given the patience and support given to him by the board and fans.
Yea...I have been his big fan since his Everton days. I supported him then because I felt he needed time. His plans and intentions were valid and there were improvements in the club then.

But I can't take it anymore. I no get energy to trust any process again. grin grin

Why do I find this funny coming from you?
Arteta might not win the league this season bro
funny as how?
I don't support mediocrity. If there is no trophy this season, he should leave.
Last season, Saliba's injury was the excuse. Some even said top 4 was the main aim so we overachieved.
I wonder what we're aiming at this year that made us destroy our own chances of silverware. Man was saying he didn't have a 30-goal striker. Na that excuse vex me pass. When we were hammering teams 5, 6 goals, who was the 30-goal striker playing then?

These ties are interesting and nice but uefa should please stop putting Madrid vs man city together again. This is the 3rd consecutive season we will play together and while Madrid have the better record, I will rather us play another team than have to face man city again. It's starting to become that Argentina Nigeria matchup. It's becoming less interesting as time goes by
It is not their fault na. Let's say fate is what is pulling both teams together.

Arteta has no excuse not winning EPL. If he can't deliver now, he should resign. Maybe his calling is to rebuild teams. The issue is I can't even think of a good replacement right now.

I simply can't stand her attitude, Her on field discipline needs to be addressed. She doesn't know how to respect players at a very young age. This Picture says it all

Tackling hard and fighting for the ball is one thing, and a part of the game. Stamping on players and deliberately going out of your way to hurt or injure them is something else. If you can't see that then you're a part of the problem.

This has nothing to do with ethnicity or the team she plays for, it's about having a moral compass and understanding that a role model shouldn't act like that.
I used to be one of her biggest fans until that world cup incidence. Very dirty player.

It's not about being the most solid LB, Tomiyasu wasn't having a good game and Kiwior would've easily replaced him. For all Kiwior's inadequacy I'm sure as hell he won't allow that Kimmich cross ; rather he will close Kimmich down by narrowing the angle .
We would never know. Kiwior has his own lapses as well.

I suggested that Tomiyasu be subbed off , u were asking me for who. Guess what ?

Tomiyasu was busy holding his arms behind his back and looking away from the ball all in the name of defending allowing Kimmich whip in the initial cross. Then he stayed rooted to the same spot and didn't put in any effort into defending when the return cross came to Kimmich .

As they say, the rest is history .
If Timber was fit, I wouldn't have questioned you. Off all the 3 LBs available, Tomiyasu is the most solid.
