People say a lot of nasty things especially when they are angry..

Also are there visible signs of knowing who is possessed or into witchcraft? Also the TB Joshua and co' in the Christendom, how true is theirs?

Most of these pastor use powerful jinns on less powerful one. Also there are Christians among the jinns who help some pastors without the latter's knowledge. One Christian jinn during a ruqyah section revealed the effort he makes in converting humans into Christianity. They are the ones who usually bring picture of Christ to people in their dreams.
I also once heard of a pastor who named his jinn Jesus. So whenever he says "in Jesus name" , he his actually referring to his jinn.

Just yesterday, a lady came to my office to ask I didn't include her name in a list I was authorized to work on and released. This is someone I know and I see the efforts she makes to excel. We later got talking and I asked her about how often she has headache. She responded that it is frequent. One of the diagnostic sign of jinn possession is frequent headache.
I asked her about pain in any part of the body, her response was also positive. She said she also sometimes hear sounds in the hear. She said she couldn't remember her dreams. I probed further and asked about sex in dreams. Response was also positive.
Other signs I found out from her include being afraid of the dark ( she can't sleep with light off), always scared of every little things and feeling something moving in her body.

She thought everything was normal, there is no big deal experiencing all those.
I knew I was dealing with a case of jinn possession. I was in my office and couldn't do ruqyah, so I told her to close her eyes and talk to her mind, to talk as if she is talking to someone ( of course, the jinn). She should ask the following questions, who are you? Why are you troubling my life? What did I do to you? Etc. After some minutes, I told her to open her eyes and asked her to tell me what happened. She told me" I feel empty as if something left my body" She meant she feel light, I knew the jinn left because I also felt a mild electric sock on my body. She also she saw a dark male shape but didn't see the face..
I know the jinn left and may come back to her later because a jinn lover don't leave easily. She would need ruqyah.

Those things I asked her a signs of jinn or human possession but we sometimes take no heed.

Like I said before, I am an accidental raqi with a regular office job. I m not an Alfa as some would have thought.

Thanks once again. I never knew Ruqyah could be employed to remove afflictions done by the jinn. I thoughts its only for possession. This is eye-opening and everything is clear to me now. I'd like to ask a question, why are there very few people who know and apply Ruqyah as a form of Cure to afflictions in Islam especially in South West? Most alfas have no idea what it is and how it's done.

I am an accidentally raqi. I once took a friend for ruqyah and I decided to stay around. Few days later, I told the raqis I want to learn and they accepted me. One of my first assignment was to interview and sermonize some possessing spirit. It later became not much of a big deal with the help of Allah.
People are not much into it probably because of fear of reprisal attack especially in cases of witchcraft. Men fear jinns whom they aren't suppose to fear.
With Allah's help, a lot have been revealed through ruqyah. You can only understand by experiencing it.
May Allah continue to be our helper.
Some raqi believe one can't perform ruqyah on a non Muslim but I believe otherwise ( with evidence ). Ruqyah is a powerful tool to affirm our faith in Allah and bring people into the fold of Islam.

Human possession is the most wicked one. if i got it right, human possession is he same way Jinn possess human and speak through thier victim, right?. This was exactly what sheikh Isa Akindele narrated. A woman possessed a lady who insulted her and she spoke from her. Sheikh said that he asked her "are you sure you are not jinn?". She confirmed she is human being and she gave her house address for confirmation. I think i have the video on my profile. It is crazy. Sheikh Isa said that was the first time he experience such thing. I think she agree to leave but she she would still go after her. But she didnt leave the moment the story was narrated.

From my little experience, if the possessing spirit is taking too much time to leave, its probably human. Jinns are not as stubborn as human.
When sorcery, black magic, witchcraft are involved, human possession is most likely the case..
I feel strongly that once a human tried to inflict another human being, during ruqyah the qarin of the former would appear in the later.
In case of witchcraft when a member of the witch group responsible for the afflictions appears we know we have to deal with all, because they ll always come back for a revenge mission ( awo ni ngbe awo ni igbowo........) that's there believe.
By and large, the ruqyah has been a powerful tool to deal with oppressing humans and jinns.

I discovered that a victim could be made to challenge or talk to the possessing spirit. This is done by telling him/ her to talk to his/ her mind without speaking out but with eyes closed for concentration. The jinn sometimes answer all questions the victims ask. This helps both the ruqi and victims to ascertain the victims' problems as spiritual.

Thanks for your Contribution. You are talking about jinn possession but I'm talking about jinn oppression. This is when the jinn is not inside the human but has caused afflictions from outside and has gone. That is, it has come to destroy and has left.

I know who Ben Halima is. I've read and watched a lot of his videos on YouTube. Are you actively involved in Ruqyah Services? Do you mind sharing some of your experiences here so we can learn more about the topic?

I know Some of these stuffs are esoteric knowledge and one can not come across it easily on here. So one has to make personal research, create time and travel to learn.

From my little knowledge, affliction caused by jinn or human possession can be cured by ruqyah. Let me also add that the ruqi can invoke Allah to bring back the jinn causing the affliction. This is done by reciting "aynomo takumu yati bikumullahu jamian, inallah alakulishein qadir and innahu alarajiun laqadir) So with that you can deal with the jinn and make him/ her remove whatever thing placed in the victims body causing the affliction.

I have done this severally with Allah's grace.

I've been making some deep research on some of the topics discussed here recently but I'm particularly interested in about four, of which one would be our main focus now.

#I read movado's posts in the Islam and Spirituality section on the dreams she had probably as a result of the Dua of protection against Shaytan she's been involved in. I noted some of her concerns and points.



The Topic I've been pondering about is on Iwosan: The Cure to the enemy's Spiritual Arrow.

From my research, I discovered that there are more supplications and Dua on protection from Jinns and evil eye than on the duas and Cure from the effects of these ailments when they have already afflicted a person. "Ailments" in this context is restricted to the physical manifestation of spiritual attack through Stroke. I have spoken with people who claimed to have been shot or bitten by snake in the dream before they had paralysis of the hands and legs which has greatly affected their walking. It is not something that can be overlooked. You don't have to wait before it happens to someone close to you.


I'd have loved to read Ikupakuti's view on this subject.
Oga Empiree is right when he said we should seek knowledge on Islamic Spirituality because those shuyuks who have the knowledge are truly dying at a faster pace lately. When you remove Spirituality from Islam, you have certainly reduced it to other dead religions. One Vulture will become king over the dead bodies of a hundred Lions.

I'd like to read mostyg's view on this. I have read your posts on using Ruqyah to treat jinn possession in Islam. Are you aware about any correlation between evil eye, spiritual arrow, jinn possessions and Stroke?

It is not enough to Know the preventive measures of an ailment if the cure to the same ailment after it has afflicted a person is not known. This has led many people to go back to the enemy for assistance. How can a man who was bitten by a snake go to the herbalist, only to be told the only cure is to drink alcohol from a bottle that has a dead snake in it.

You'd be surprised at the number of people In this Islamic section who would cross carpet when the enemy gives them an uppercut. You can make Tahjud when you need financial help from Allah or when you have a case in court. But what do you do when you can't speak nor walk. Your family members have tried everything possible and are now suggesting that you be carried to one baba in Ijebu. You don't have access to Ruhaniyah like our Oga here Lol.



Your research on Islamic Spirituality would have made it easier for you to tell your family on what Surah to recite or which Sheikh in your contact list to call. A sheikh who will treat you by using the Combination of Quran, hadith and teachings of the Prophet (SAW)



I have been planning to embark on knowledge-seeking journey on issues like this just to have a first hand knowledge of how some afflictions are cured with the Power of Allah hidden in the Qur'an. This will take time, money, perseverance and of course, persuasion of these shuyuks. I pray Allah makes it easy Insha Allah.

My friend's Mom rented a shop at **** Lagos Island. She went to the shop to inspect the new tiles and paintings done at the Shop. She slipped, fell flatly on the floor and lost her sight immediately. How did slipping cause blindness?

I listened to a recorded audio of Islamic exorcism posted on this forum months ago. The man was bewitched by a relative years before the the exorcism took place but the jinns sent were waiting for the perfect time to attack. He was a devoted Muslim and couldn't be attacked easily. They followed him around for about 8 years until he backslided and they came in for finishing. He went crazy upstairs and things went downhill from there.
An 80 year old jinn is still a baby because most of them sometimes live for hundreds of years. They know your Great Grandparents. it's very likely you'll die before them and they will still see your Grandchildren. Who's at the receiving end here? Humans or Jinns?

In Summary, I want to know if there is anyone that knows anything about the kind of knowledge I seek or anywhere I could get it because some of the things I want to know are things some people served their Sheikh for years before they could get. I don't think that should be the case nowadays. You don't have to live with a sheikh for so many years before he can share knowledge and experience with you. I might be wrong though. What kind of treatment is used to cure paralysis of the limbs that occurred as a result of Evil eye or attacks? I think I read somewhere that A Sahaba read suratul Fathia to cure evil eye? Do we have people like that nowadays?




I once asked Ikupakuti that "which is more powerful and dangerous, The Devil or Ignorance?" He said in quote "Ignorance is the prime adversary of man. The plots of the devil are weak in the face of knowledge."

As regards treatment of ailments associated with sorcery, witchcraft, back magic, jinns, all these could be done through ruqya.
One thing I have noticed is that people actually recite the Qur'anic verses without having intention of what you intend to happen to the jin. You must also tell the jin to get out of the body.

There is human possession and jin possession. Human possession are though more than join possession. If it is human, sorcery, black magic or witchcraft is involved. You may need to destroy all these. You may pray to Allah to destroy wherever those things are kept or ask the possessing spirit once it has surrender to bring it, ( you won't see, some see) and then recite ayatal kurisiyu on it to be destroyed or a suratul furqan vs 22 ( waqodimno.....). By Allah's grace the sorcery/ witchcraft/ black magic would be destroyed.

In the case of evil eye, their is a prophetic recommendation of victim bathing with the water from the evil eyed ( not so sure for now).

When a spirit ( jinn) is living in human, the movement is always felt depending on the part it lives. In some people, its the head.

You can talk to the jinn by engaging them in your mind without speaking out with your mouth. Sometimes you see them while engaging them in the mind.

Another good way of testing for the presence of jinn in ones body is by listening to the call to prayer. Get someone to make the Muslim call to prayer (Adhan) very close into your hear ( right). If unusual vibration is felt any where in the body, a jinn is present.

All what you listed above is effect of the complexity of the brain.

We see so much, we do too much to not expect the brain to malfunction or over function.

What we input is what the brain processes for us, that is why our dreams is usually not far from our experiences or beliefs.

Let me tell you about sleep paralysis or lucid dreams. This is as real as you. You can even at will go into it.

I used to think sleep paralysis(I thought I was possessed at a point) was a definite proof of the existence of the supernatural until I found a post on facebook;

Under the post I read the comments. People of different cultures and beliefs gave their experiences.

Some said, it was spiritual, and that, when they shouted Jesus, Allah, ra, vinshu, basically the different gods from religion or their different prayers in their hearts that it reliefs them.

Some said, they screamed out to their siblings or parents, some said they did nothing at all, few others gave a remedy like moving your toes or fingers.

But in conclusion, it all worked for them.

This is the basis of religion. There are a million religions across the world. It thrives because they have experienced something 'supernatural' and they attributed it to their 'God'.

You cannot tell a Muslim for example, that Allah has not done anything in their lives. They would tell you of experiences they had that points to Allah.

My own is the truth is why there is so much division in this world. They don't want to see the bigger picture that out of the Seven Billion People in this world, only 2 billion are Christians, only 2 billion are Muslims, only 100million are Jews. only close to a billion a Buddhists. Only a couple of hundreds are different religions with different gods.

Some people have never heard the word Jesus, yet they lived a peaceful and joyful life.

I challenge you to a one on one encounter. Come and experience the spiritual world, come and feel and listen to ghosts/spirits talk and on that basis know if they exist or not.

Let's be more practical and leave aside theoretical discussion/ arguments.

I bet you would understand there is a supernatural being, the Almighty, the all knowing under whom lies the dominion of the universe.

MIRACLES, where do I even start? NO human on earth have received healing through miracle, I mean the ones your pastors stage/perform. If miracles happen, we would all see it and it won't be something we would ever question. If I see a miracle today, if everyone sees a miracle today, we would never ever doubt it. But just like ghosts it's a rare occurrence, only happens on church altars.

Show me an amputee that has regrown a limb. Is that too hard for your pastors to perform?
