TimT:The reason why when we finally travel to the western world, we drop our certificate is because they don't take our certificate serious, then we become unemployable because of lack of skills, so many resort to do menial jobs while they restart their education again. |
tensazangetsu20:Stop bad mouthing Nigeria Travel or stay in your country where you reside and stop saying negative things about your home country, it make no sense. There are still successful people here in Nigeria traveling abroad and coming back home and most don't of them don't have connections to government. Nigeria is not perfect but abusing her because you are abroad makes no sense. |
spencekat:He didnt but he obviously must have denied the pregnancy and she had to do abortion to protect her self from embarrassment |
OBVIOUSLY THE FATHER RAN AWAY IF HE HAD CLAIM RESPONSIBLITY, IT WONT HAVE HAPPENED |
mechoau:I don't have to show proof to strangers online about my income. only people with inferiority complex do that...Income are private discussion not for public consumption. When you were running your bet naija shop in Nigeria, Why didnt you post your income online, suddenly when you went to the UK and start earning minimum wages, you start to brag thinking you are better than Nigerians in Nigeria when obviously you earn and spend in the UK. i have said this many times, just because Nigeria was not working for you does not mean it is not working for other people, And YES, there are Nigerians living in Nigeria that earn more than you from Nigeria and they also live a low cost life. Your one week salary cant feed me and my family for 1 years. Stop the cap , it might be able to feed me for 3 weeks because of the low cost of things here in Nigeria but your one week salary wont feed you for 3 days that why you have to do over times. ( you just agree with the OP that Nigeria has a lower cost of living than the uk) That is the point i want you to agree and you have done that by yourself. You don't know me, so stop bragging to a stranger over nothing, it makes you sound crazy. |
VeeVeeMyLuv:Having a different opinion is bad belly to you. When he was talking down to other who have a different opinion, i am guessing you didnt see that or are you just an ass kisser who just accept anything told to him or her I am not against anyone going abroad to work but don't create a false reality because you earn in pounds and stop thinking there are no successful people In Nigeria. just because it is not working for you does not mean it is not working for others. my last submission is Tell him to stop changing his money to Naira anytime he is paid, he doesn't spend Naira in the UK and yes the OP who created this thread is right, Nigeria is more cheaper than the UK because it is a low income country |
Saintinoo:A girl you plan to marry didnt call you for 2 months of no silent and you think she loves you if she really care for you, she would have compromised and also call you after 3 days to 1 week |
mechoau:You are just being aggressive over nothing and all these your bragging wont do you good considering that you work minimum wage in the uk. and btw their is nothing bad in doing that... having a Schengen visa is not a flex, maybe to you it is an achievement but to me it is not. having a visa is a flex to poor people in Nigeria. Don't think everybody is a poor in Nigeria, just because you went to the UK, and just because you did not achieve your dream in Nigeria does not mean people are not achieving theirs in Nigeria. i am 100% sure you are the type of person that think he earns more than a branch manager or bank CEO in Nigeria after converting pound to Naira. Haha. The reason you love to change your pounds to Naira after every pay is to intimidate ignorant people here and also to feel like you have achieve something even though you earn low and live in the UK i don't live in Banana island but you cant afford to live in banana island, do not think because you work minimum wage job in the Uk that means you have arrived or that you can suddenly afford to buy a land or rent a house in banana island, no you cant, wake up from your dream. You are still poor in the UK considering standard of living and also considering the fact that your annual salary isn't up to the national average. You don't have to disclose the area you live in Manchester but your rent and slip has already done the talking for you and the OP is right.(you haven't remove rent, feeding, council tax and gas bill). You pay very low rent in Manchester and it says a lot about your situation and here you are talking about class and type.. that is insanely ridiculous. I am not trying to be rude, but stop trying to be rude just because you are in the UK doing care work and over time. |
mechoau:I am not dumb and i just telling you the truth with the info you provided There is nothing bad in working 2 or 3 jobs to meet up with the bills The slip you posted give us a bigger picture of your economic situation, also your rent also give a bigger picture of the area you live, it is obvious that you aren't living in a major city in the UK. |
VeeVeeMyLuv:kissing his ass and going on his dm to beg for money wont make him give you money. |
mechoau:It is not about poor boy mentality, it is just the reality of things. Stop using day offs as excuses. Your salary from your full time job isnt enough. If you have to work 2 jobs or 3 jobs to survive that means you are struggling financially, that is why you are working yourself to death. Because of the high cost of living, you have to work multiple jobs to keep up with the high cost of living. There is a difference between working a single job and doing over time there and working in 2 or 3 different jobs and doing over time in each of them, that is something of concern. |
mechoau:If you have to work 2 jobs, long hours and take extra times that means your salary isn't enough for upkeep and it also means that you are struggling. People who earn well in the uk don't work 2 jobs. |
AsaBlackheart:An hourly based payment does not mean you will be paid per hour, it means that you will be paid for the number of hours you work at the end of the month. that is why in some jobs they clock in and out so that the total number of hours you worked can be calculated and you will be paid according to the total number of hours you worked. work per hours jobs are called time jobs and are mostly for lower paid jobs. Most high paid job all over the world are salaried. |
wrongnumber:your hourly rate will be your accumulated salary at the end of the month People who earn more than 1600 in the UK and people who earn more than 30k in Nigeria, will live according to their pay and standard of living in their respective countries someone earning 5k pounds in the UK and someone earning 600k per month in Nigeria will have more disposable income and will live well compared to someone who earns 1600 pounds and 30k in their respective countries.. it is just common sense, that is why it makes no sense to compare different salaries in 2 different countries. The more the higher standard of living, the more employers will pay to meet up with the high standard of living if city A is more expensive than city B, employers will pay more salaries to employees working in city A than in city B Even if both employees in city A and B earn the same salary, the employee in City B will live a more better life than an employee in city A because city B is cheap The same happens if you compare Uk and US salaries in the US are more higher than salaries in the UK for the same role. so because of living cost, employers in the US pay more than employers in the UK. |
wrongnumber:what is the logic in what you wrote down Minimum wages is the least amount of payment an employer is required to pay to his/her employee for the hours of work time. This is what the maths says Someone earning 1600 pounds in the Uk is also struggling financially as someone earning 30k per month in Nigeria. |
Kachidubem:I personally dont know anyone who earn 30k per month. earning 10 pounds per hour in the Uk means you are in the bottom of the food chain and these type of jobs are for very young people or people without the necessary qualification to get an annual salary. also anyone earning 30k per month is also in the botton of the food chain in Nigeria |
LikeAking:so you want homelessness to increase in Nigeria |
AsaBlackheart:this does not make sense they are earning in pounds and it makes no sense to convert to Naira because they are not spending in Naira in the uk The person receiving 10 pounds per hour in the UK is also struggling like the person receiving 30k per month in nigeria. |
Fa44me:Employers here in Nigeria do not pay per hour, also in the UK they do not give you cash per hours, per hour is just a rate for your time work so as to calculate your monthly income. Most of the time, in these type of jobs, the average hourly pay has to be at least the National Minimum Wage. just because an employer is willing to pay you 10 pounds per hour does not mean when you are given your monthly paycheck, it will be enough to cover your living cost that is because 10 pounds is the minimum wage for time work. the same person earning 10 pounds per hours which is minimum wage in the UK his counterpart in Nigeria which is 30k per month cant enjoy the good things of life. both of these individuals are struggling in the different countries they live in. |
Deogratiasfx:another ignorant comment Many people earn small in the UK, few people earn well, it is the same in Nigeria 80/20 pareto principles just because a person earn in pounds does not mean his/her salary is enough for their well keep salaries are paid according to standard of living, the higher the standard of living the more things get expensive. so employer will pay to meet up with the standard of living. someone earning $5k a month in San Francisco might be struggling to put food on his table because of how expensive the city is, but to you when you hear that amount from Nigeria, you will think he is balling when in reality he cant put food on his table. if you bring it back home, someone earning that same $5k in Nigeria will live a wonderful life in Nigeria because of how cheap the country is. someone earning 1m naira per month in Nigeria will live a good life while someone earning the equivalent of 1m ($1226) in the uk or us will be literally poor. That same person earning $1226 per month in the US or UK, if he / she moves to Nigeria, they will live a good life in Nigeria. |
StainlessCup:your analysis does not make sense why are you converting to naira? is the person spending naira in the UK the same person complaining of 30k minimum wage in Nigeria, their counterpart in the UK, those earning 1200 pounds per month are also complaining in the UK just because you here pounds does not mean the person is enjoying life in the uk |
LikeAking:you are actually ignorant so because it is abroad that means everything there is quality There are many houses in the UK where you can here you neighbour banging and shouting through the walls |
LikeAking:can you afford monthly rent in Nigeria |
LikeAking:Processed food arent healthy at all. They are the cause of many diseases. This is the difference between rich and poor people abroad. The richer you are, the more organic food you eat, if you are poor, you are more likely to eat processed food. Organic foods are very expensive abroad compared to processed food. Here in Nigeria organic foods are cheaper while processed foods are expensive. Reason is because many are imported. |
LikeAking:The quality of food in Nigeria is more better than in the Uk and Us. Food is more cheaper in Nigeria Fruits in Nigeria are more tasty Food in Nigeria are organic Chicken more organic and tasty |
psalmsjob:You are right, Nigeria is cheaper than uk and US Food are cheaper and have more tasty and are very organic in Nigeria than in the Us and Uk |
Lanre1st:the problem with people like you is that you think people are suppose to be stagnant in life. btw, you will still be the one to avoid her with her acne |
Pdp members didn't support dino. They were embarrassed that Dino was given the governorship ticket. So they decided to fight dino and vote for apc |
Most Christians have be brainwashed that isreal of today are isrealites, when in reality they are not. As they say, tell a lie everyday and people will start to believe it. Christians in isreal have no rights but as an Africans i dont support isreal or Palestinian, i only support black people, no one care about us but we have been brainwashed to care about other races when in reality they discriminate against us daily |
4000 flight and 250 passengers since 2021 That means 83k passenger per year 1333 flights per year |
The issue here is when you have journalists not understanding legal matters. If Nigerian journalists are competent, they would have read the whole judgement and publish accurate information but they are just mere copy and paste Journalists, who do not read or do research |
Sorry to say if you are working hard abroad then it must be either factory or service doing some repetitive jobs. If you are working in offices, there are softwares to make your job faster and more efficient. |
