We have so many fake drinks in circulation that's why? I know alot of foreign guys in Togo, Gambia and Congo. These guys drink and party like mad but they have never had any health challenges like here in Nigeria.
So in Ghana and Togo no fake drink

Fake or not drinking too much alcohol will ruin you if not now but in the future

There is nothing bad if you drink it twice in a month but drinking it every day or involving in binge drinking will eventually ruin you

You were making sense until the last part where you said "GET A GOOD PENSION" grin
EVEN AS A CBN TOP MANAGEMENT STAFF, YOU WILL NEVER RETIRE AND GET A GOOD PENSION WITH ANY FEDERAL JOB IN THIS COUNTRY.
FEDERAL JOB IS A COMPLETE SLAVERY WITH ONLY THE ADVANTAGE OF LOOTING SOMETIMES AND THE OPPORTUNITY FREEDOM.

IN MOST CASES, YOUR SALARY AFTER RETIREMENT IS USUALLY DIVIDE BY 10-100 OF YOUR LAST SALARY IN ACTIVE SERVICE. DON'T LET ANYONE DECEIVE YOU.
That is a very big lie. You obviously don't know what you are typing

Pension is a contribution you make from your salary.

What you contribute is what you will get at the end of your service.

Also position are not stagnant, with promotion comes increase in salaries and more allowance and benefit.

You are also entitled to a mortgage and car loan

So, staying with 200k salary job in Nigeria in this current economy is what?

What you will achieve in 30 years of service in federal jobs could be achieved within your 5years in UK.

Op, please if you have the funds, kindly leave for your studies here in the UK. Build your home here and grow your career.
You are obviously a short term thinker

Do you think people earn 200k for ever in a government job.

Get your facts right before typing

why are you running?

You are in a federal government job, why arent you patient to climb the leader and reach the top, everything takes times

Why run to the uk and be stagnant

Building your career in your government job is better than moving to the uk. in the UK, you will be stagnant and wont get social network and career progression like you do in Nigeria

Eveeything takes time but i will rather be in Nigeria with my federal job, move up the ladder, improve on myself, build my social network, retire and get a good pension

why waste your time in the Uk living an average life

Ola of lagos or the white man who sells and lease private jets?

This should give ola of lagos an opportunity to improve on his craft, improve on his english and learn more about promotion and review, infact go for a course in sales or promotion, read books on how to sell and before you know it he will become an expert

Even with established physical altercation? What about the popular ones that we have witnessed?

This one too is also not strange. In fact, if it is only one house you both owned, it is going to her. So, what do you think would happen in both cases?
It is a temporary removal and she needs permission from court to enforce it and it usually last from 1 to 3 months.

In the case of house ownership, the woman does not automatically get the house,it also depends on the law of that state, in most cases the equity in the house is split 50/50

On the throwing out part, I think you are wrong (for USA). Men are generally stronger physically. So if you get into argument with your wife and she decides to kick you out of the house, she will call the Police and claim that you were beating her. When Police arrives, they will try to confirm her allegations. If they believe her, the Police will arrest you and take you to jail. You will appear before a Judge, given bail and ordered not to get back to the house until the case is settled. You have to make alternative arrangement or move in with a friend or relative.
It is a temporary removal and the police can not stop the nan from returning to his house.

If a woman wants to remove a man because of domestic violence she has to request an emergency protective order from the police or a Magistrate’s Order and it usually last between 30 to 90 days

Fake story.

One of the lies they always tell Nigerian men abroad is that your wife can just throw you out of the house.

Your wife can't throw you out of the house no unless she obtained an occupation order from the court

Another lie is that, if you are caught cheating, your wife can take half of your property.

Most of these lies is to make Nigerian men loyal abroad.

If this is true then explain why the workers are still quiting their jobs and leaving the country for better life, - "Government workers and many workers in private organizations all have pension schemes, mortgage and car loans and health insurance with an approved Nhs service providers". I have seen several managers of banks quit their jobs to Japa. I have seen oil company staff quit their jobs and japa.

Car loan is still payable from your salary, in Nigeria and abroad. Health Insurance is standard practice in many countries, especially in the advanced countries (where your fellow Nigerians dey japa to reside and work) provided you have work permit in that country.

Pension Schemes in Nigeria is a topic for another day. I strongly feel it is skewed in favor of government, pension fund administrators, owners of the PFAs and banks. How do you explain someone having a lot of money in pension account that he can't access in his youthful days to do business or investment considering the time value of money but can only access it after 55 years of age upon retirement. Even if the person is out of job for long(minimum of 6 months), he or she can only collect 25% of his accumulated savings once in the period before he or she becomes 55 years. Leaving government and PFA owners a pool of funds to touch anytime they wish with some justification that they are paying a cheap and ridiculous interest to the employee on the fund. Come-on.

Do you wanna compare health insurance in Nigeria with health insurance in USA, Europe and Canada, for instance, don't just go there.

About the earnings of Nigerians in brown collar jobs in Europe, you can't compare it with earnings in Nigeria. You should check the hour rate for employment in European countries to understand the potentials in working in the Europe, USA, Canada, Australia etc.

I don't care what you think about those working and hoping to Japa. They have so many reasons to Japa; those reasons are results of the Nigerian government poor policies, management, selfishness, carelessness and failure.

Guess what? The Nigerian government is perpetually in the business of failing, frustrating, punishing, eroding the value of life of the masses.

I will no longer respond to you because you have a choice to stay back in Nigeria and live that life you so desire to live. Just don't discourage people that really want to Japa with your deceptive concept designed to keep them impoverished and unwealthy. They also have a choice to improve the standard of their lives and be equal or better than you and lots keeping this Nigeria down.
I am not against anyone going abroad.

I am actually replying you to counter your lies.

Nigeria is not a perfect place but people are also having a better life here.

Some workers are traveling abroad because they are misinformed, a bank manager leaves his job for abroad, only to come abroad and stay at the bottom of the food chain, he starts regretting and then wishes to come back to Nigeria but it is too late because he has resign from his or her job and have to start all over again.

With regards to pension schemes in Nigeria, you obviously don't know anything about it, how is it skewed in favour of the government, how?

The laws says, all employers must deduct some percentage from their employee salaries and remit to the employee PFA of their choice, then how is it in favour of the government, PFA are private firms not government entities.

Your pension isn't meant for business in your youthful days, it is meant for your retirement and you can actually withdraw some percentage of it if you lose your job.

In Nigeria, the law says a worker can access 25 per cent of the savings in his RSA, if he loses his job and does not get another after four months.

Health insurance are cheap in Nigeria, in the US, medical care is expensive, in Europe it is free but the waiting period is hell, in Nigeria, accessing healthcare is cheap and fast. During covid, lot of Nigerians abroad came back home for treatment, not only covid, many Nigerian living abroad do come back home to receive medical care, ivf is booming in Nigeria because it is expensive abroad.

On the issue of menial workers, the work rate are low and many menial workers can't afford a better life like their counterpart in Nigeria. Many menial workers living abroad have to work over time to make something tangible, also their salaries can't subtain them if they have a partner that is why they need their spouse to work and share the bills which most times bring conflict.

In the western world, if a man salary is enough to take care of the family, in many cases you don't see the wife working, she becomes a full time house wife, many Nigerians living abroad don't fall under that category, only a few do, infact for menial job workers abroad, it is hard. That is why they need a 2 income home.

In Nigeria, it is possible, a man can take care of his family with his income and the wife don't need to work.

And once again, I am not discouraging anyone from going abroad.

How many Nigerians have that opportunity that you described in bold alphabets?

Which ones are the good places; give examples?

Abroad, you don't have to work in good places, you only need to work diligently and you are good for life when you return to Nigeria several years later with a reasonable savings.

Stop trying to fool us.
You are the one trying to fool everyone.

Government workers and many workers in private organizations all have pension schemes, mortgage and car loans and health insurance with an approved Nhs service providers.

Infact some organizations and government institutions still provide nhs services to their retirees.

You just wrote that abroad, you dont need to work in good places and you are made for life, that is not true. You have to work in a good private firm in the western world to get a good pension.

State pension in the uk is 134 pounds per week, so how is this person going to have a better life in nigeria after retirement.

Retirees in the white collar jobs in the US, when they return to Nigeria can have a better life in Nigeria, those from europe are worst off in Nigeria, that is fact. Most blacks in Europe are working menial jobs and earnig maybe 800 euros per month. I know someone who sent 50 euros as contribution for his mother burial and you are here painting europe as heaven on earth.

Economic power is the ability of countries, businesses, or individuals to improve their standard of living - simply putting it.

It doesn't necessarily mean I have to improve my standard of living in my country.

Maybe you should have some Nigerians in the advanced countries doing brown collar jobs honestly do the maths for you. They can tell you that it is not easy over there however, life is easier, valuable and improving at faster rate than in Nigeria.

There is nothing greater about remuneration than to see the money you work hard to get translate to improved living standards for anyone.

In Nigeria, you can work so hard for 35yrs in reputable job and end up with little or nothing significant in asset and or properties.
It seems you don't understand what you wrote down.

The discussion was about the individual.

The individual can have economic power if he or she improves on himself.

When you improve on yourself, you get promotion and salaries to have a better life, that is how it works all over the world

Your last statement is a big lie. Most Nigerians that work in a good place all retired well. There are pension schemes for them.

Also when they were working, they had access to mortgages and car loans which made them live the type of lifestyle they want, many are also covered by health insurance for themselves and their family.. so stop writing about something you don't know of, Nigeria is not a perfect place but it works

They invest in a masters, invest in going to courses and also take the risk of changing jobs roles

Work permit is not the reason, the reason is lack of skills and certificate and academic excellences to work in white collar jobs

there are many Nigerians abroad with work permit but they still do menial jobs because they dont have the certificate and skills.

They only get them when they start going back to school but sometimes, it becomes late for them because employers need young people for some certain roles.

There is no dignity in labour in Nigeria, and the purchasing power for your menial job in Nigeria is the worst.

If you can't even wrap your head around way people are more comfortable keeping their certificate aside to do menial job in other countries than in Nigeria then you are either not honest in your reasoning or you not capable of critical reasoning.
There is no dignity in menial jobs everywhere in the world

Nobody will respect a door man or a garbage man, uber driver, window cleaner or security man anywhere in the world, most menial jobs are for people with no certificate and it is not a job of pride

There is a reason why jobs like pilot, engineer, lawyers and many other white collar jobs are respected and paid well abroad because you need your certificate, skills and experience to be in those profession.

The reason why majority of immigrants do menial jobs abroad is because they have no skills, experience or don't have the right certificate which makes them unemployable for white collar jobs
