On my sheet, FCMB is the cheapest bank now, based on this result.

You should use PE ratio to compare 2 stocks. FCMB PE = 2.30, FIDELITY PE = 3.03

You can use EPS to compare 2 stocks if only they both have the same share price, or if you're comparing the relative performance of a stock.
currentprice:
^
^^
forward PE at today close price

fcmb 3

fidelity 4

so how fidelity take cheap base on the EPS u post

grin grin grin
U are correct. Maths no easy o. My classmate don change seat, who I for copy from.
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m): 4:47pm On Nov 29, 2018
But CP, on strength of this result alone, fidelity is still cheaper than fcmb. Eps for fidelity is .62 fcmb. 57. They are both cheaper than any other bank on NSE.
Congrats FCMB, nice result.

That fear is for investors, not for a trader like me. In this kind of arrangement, UBCap will be more on the receiving end that UBA.

BTW, why will he be buying oil assets from shell when Transcorp is yet to do anything with the blocks they already have?
Transcorp says 2nd quarter 2019 they will start exploiting theirs.

UBA will.have to come down to say hello to Access. They are 5 & 6 and very royal to each other. Otherwise, Access will run go level up with UBA.
I fear UBA these days. Elumelu wants to buy some oil assets from shell, he says transcorp will manage it. He also says money will come from banks. UBA is my first suspect. Oil related loans with Trump in power remains huge risk.

It's actually almost 4%. I was not sad because I used the money to test the waters, I was even surprised I didn't use more than that.

Warren Buffet has said it, that fees can be a gain killer. That's why since then, if I buy a stock, I buy it with no intention to sell, I always buy companies I would be happy to buy more if they drop in price. This is key, I have always been preaching about good companies and buying in small amounts instead of large buying due to emotions.
Like Fidelity. #runsaway

Coming to the NSE I played around for a while and I budgeted 10K that I will lose, just to see how efficient the market is and test some other things. By the time I was done, I lost a total of 5.7K in small dips and commission fees. I am glad about that small school fees though, it made me test the waters well, though I made tiny gains, commission fees canceled it out.
Pple that go in and out at every shake will always lose to commissions. The worse part is that they don't realise it on time. 3% every now and then no be joke.

There seems to be smart money hovering above the market, but refusing to settle.
This may be a good time to observe from BBM'S workshop, but not to meddle with his tools.... grin
I have been trying very hard each day to restrain myself from using the molten wax and wicks lying on the floor to try forming some candlesticks to continue the present pattern.

You avoid much trouble when your prediction about the market is wrong and you apologise to the market on time before the market sends you a query.
This guy. U no want pay school fees yet u want learn. Ok na, make we see wetin u go learn while sitting on the fence.
