He didn't just point to the females and say this is yours but he makes sure that even when his gone that non of his male children will conspire against the females one to manipulate them with one tradition or the other to take away the lands he gave them.... He called the females one behind and collect a little sum of money like 10 Naira .... He told the Male one that he sold the land to their sisters at subsided rate ..... So Automatically the females ones bought the lands so no matter the time flame nobody will come to say she can't come from her husband house and be dragging land in her father's house... At a point my mother's siblings started eyeing her own because she never sell it even 20 yrs after their father died... But they can't succed because my grandfather also collect undisclosed amount from her female children...

He was also to get a plot and half while the other siblings get a plot each but he refused.

The other male siblings are still living in the family house which by inheritance belonged to the first son on the condition that they will move when they’ve built on their lands but first son refused.
