I only recounted a similar story in a government Hospital i worked at last year and how it was handled. It has nothing to do with this case.

BTW that hospital should be close down, a lots of negative reviews here on Nairaland never talk of outsiders..... And that's a big issue you should have focus not coming to take her sides...

Hhhmmm... scan dey fail o, we know. But the part that got me is where she said "she was given a sleeping injection".

I've had 2 vaginal deliveries and I know a few persons who have had CS. YOU SHOULD NEVER PUT A WOMAN ABOUT TO BE DELIVERED OF A CHILD TO SLEEP.

In the case of CS, the injection given is to numb the waist region downwards. In fact through out the procedure the anaesthetist must engage the patient in a conversation, so she doesn't sleep off.

Immediately after delivery (vaginal & CS ) the baby is held up for the mother to see and you'll be asked to say out the sex of the child, after which baby is taken for clean up and all.

I don't know anything about the said hospital, but the issue of "sleeping injection" raises eyebrows.

And seeing a lot of negative feedbacks regarding the same hospital here is worrisome, BTW the 3 scans was done in the same hospital....

Surgery started, we opened her up, brought out the first child, then the conso was now looking for the second child. There was no second child.

That's how we called the husband into the theatre o, let him come and see for himself that there are no extra exit points in the theatre, we didn't steal the baby. We only found one child in the womb, not two.When the husband had confirmed for himself, we continued and closed her up.

My oga was pissed. I was beginning to wonder if it was wrong case note. We asked for all her scans. They all showed twin pregnancy, except the first scan at 8 weeks which showed signs of vanishing twin syndrome.

So it was likely that the other twin did vanish.

Seeing a lot of people giving a negative feedbacks regarding your hospital....
