Any ideas anyone? What if I attended a private school of Midwifery that is now comatose, that is students are no longer being admitted, and the school is closed, due to the fact that the founder of the school is now dead, and the children of the founder and the principal are at log a heads, so everything is in a mess, and the principal ransacked the school's records office and took documents home, and now the husband of the principal is also dead, so she is out of the city where the school is situated mourning, if the principal is in possession of some documents including mine, how then will it be possible for the school to send CGFNS the validation it requires of my certificates? Any ideas? Will CGFNS refuse to process my application because of this issue with the school of Midwifery? Will they go ahead with just the information received from the school of nursing which happens to be different? |
I got a question about the below: CGFNS Certification Program This evaluation is the same, but requires you to take the CGFNS Qualifying Exam. Everything in a Credentials Evaluation Service Professional Report CGFNS Qualifying Exam $445 Fee What if I attended a private school of Midwifery that is now comatose, that is students are no longer being admitted, and the school is closed, due to the fact that the founder of the school is now dead, and the children of the founder and the principal are at log a heads, so everything is in a mess, and the principal ransacked the school's records office and took documents home, and now the husband of the principal is also dead, so she is out of the city where the school is situated mourning, if the principal is in possession of some documents including mine, how then will it be possible for the school to send CGFNS the validation it requires of my certificates? The battery used to start the White Venza is an Optima Yellow! https://www.nairaland.com/2731332/wonderful-experience-mr-tadeus |
chelseabmw:That's an Optima Yellow battery. Not a battery to be taken lightly, its super premium! https://www.nairaland.com/2875999/meets-exceeds-o.e-grade-automotive#42937363 |

Keneking:I like the way you think! White-collar jobs that bring cash below a certain threshold may not make sense to a person due to his status (single or married, or married with kids, or with heavy family responsibilities) or tastes (needs to live beyond what salary can take care of) in life. For those sort of people, who prefer to determine their worth not their worth as arbitrarily set by some organization or employer, this is the way to go, entrepreneurship/hustling/business, etc |
I have been in the U.S. for a very short while, although I will be there for a while. When in Rome, do as the Romans? How do i start making payments and receive money via PayPal if I don't yet have a U.S. Bank account which should be sorted out very soon. I am trying to set up a U.S. based PayPal account from within the U.S Is it acceptable to PayPal to link my U.S. PayPal account to my Nigerian Bank card? |

Kaizeshoze12345:contract all staff, even the multinationals and the bank do so! not your fault, its the system's fault for all that they force you to do, comply at the minimum level e.g., for pension payments, the minimum is 5 staff, so don't go any further, you get the brief. Just be compliant and no more! |
tsiriman:e fit be dem no get time for nairaland? even on the mercedes benz thread how many s-class owners de show? |
Got myself a Trane battery with 520CCA at last. I was willing to buy a VARTA (Silver Dynamic or Blue Dynamic only) but even after studying the site and arriving on a fit for my application as well as alternatives that could be used though I didn't list them here, I didn't hear from the seller as to availability, same goes for BAROCLEM (Gold only). I finally got a BOSCH dealer with batteries in stock, but he had an S3 and I wanted an S5. S3 is their lowest grade, I wanted middle grade(S5) or highest grade(S5 High Performance AGM). Here were my acceptable options from BOSCH: 1. S6 High Performance AGM™ Battery Bosch S6 High Performance AGM™ Batteries provide excellent charge acceptance & peak power for vehicles with start/stop systems, regenerative braking & the highest electronic demand. The S6 features AGM™ technology & satisfies the highest starting & power supply standards even in extreme hot & cold climates. Installation Restrictions: Best fit estimate, check polarity and clearance before installing, OE CCA: 360, S6 High Performance AGM Part Number: S6523B 2. S5 Battery The Bosch S5 Car Battery is well suited for premium car segments including upper-class domestic, imported segments & vehicles with a high number of electrical consumers. The S5 Battery delivers dependable power in extreme temperatures & other high demand situations. Installation Restrictions: Optional OE CCA: 490, S5 Premium Part Number: S5508B 3. S5 Battery The Bosch S5 Car Battery is well suited for premium car segments including upper-class domestic, imported segments & vehicles with a high number of electrical consumers. Installation Restrictions: OE CCA: 360, Optional OE CCA: 490, S5 Premium 75 Dual Term Part Number: S5560B I discovered a Duracell auto battery shop that had run out of stock. Next battery am buying? Will be a VARTA or a BAROCLEM, all things being equal! Thanks to all who enriched my options by commenting on this thread... Am out of here |
earthrealm:Thanks so much. Problem is not in Lagos at the moment. Seen Trane on Jumia but they don't have 60Ah in stock although it is on the site. Trane used to be on Konga but is no more on Konga! Very true, many of the good brands don't come here. Bosch is available though, but those I contacted have sold out. |
GAZZUZZ:I must admit I have fallen in love with Trane, but what nice brands you got there! In effect expanding my choices. Varta is related to Delkor, same parent company!! Baroclem also got reliable pedigree. These are the sort of batteries to buy and go to rest for 5 to 6 years not the junk in our automotive markets Got Baroclem Gold B60J? Got Varta Silver Dynamic 12V 60Ah 680A(CCA) i.e., Silver Dynamic AGM 560 901 068? and/or the ordinary Varta Silver Dynamic 12V 60Ah and/or Varta Blue Dynamic 12V 60Ah 540A(CCA)i.e., Blue Dynamic 560 410 054? |
Trane Optima Red Top/Yellow Top Delkor battery Varta Baroclem Bosch Duracell Who sells it here in Nigeria? Any ideas will be extremely appreciated. Would love to import but it is needed right away, not some econo batteries with poor quality control that can barely last 2 years |
kaeforum:Please can someone knowledgeable in cars explain the bolded to me? As for the bolded and italicized, my experience has been great so far so i would say it all depends. I guess it needed a new transmission not just an oil change. And the former seller decided to run for cover, while hoodwinking you into a bad deal. |
2special:The so-called buyer also runs the domain verification/appraisal He wants to get money out of you via reverse psychology, proceed at your own risk My candid advice? Forget it, if he needs it so seriously, let me pay you $19,500.00 instead and you give him the 170 and the difference to 500 for his trouble, and I guarantee you, you will hear not one word more from him! |
G3wap:Scam - not you, but the concept of a domain certificate appraisal report, use those terms in quotes and run a google search |
General Rule: Ruth 1:9: May Jehovah grant that each of you finds security in the home of your husband.” Then she kissed them, and they wept loudly. NWT May the LORD grant that each of you will find rest in the home of another husband." Then she kissed them goodbye and they wept aloud. NIV "May the LORD grant that you may find rest, each in the house of her husband." Then she kissed them, and they lifted up their voices and wept. NASB Women are seeking for a "resting-place", a place of rest in the house of their husband or security with a 9to5 provides and not the uncertainty and restlessness of entrepreneurship It was so in the days of Ruth and Naomi and it is still the same today. The vast majority of women need to take it easy - and then man is supposed to take the heat Gen 3:17,18: And to Adam he said: “Because you listened to your wife’s voice and ate from the tree concerning which I gave you this command, ‘You must not eat from it,’ cursed is the ground on your account. In pain you will eat its produce all the days of your life. It will grow thorns and thistles for you, and you must eat the vegetation of the field. NWT To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. NIV Some sort of compensation for the pain of carrying pregnancy for 9 months? To counteract/counterbalance the domination of the man Gen 3: 16: To the woman he said: “I will greatly increase the pain of your pregnancy; in pain you will give birth to children, and your longing will be for your husband, and he will dominate you.” NWT To the woman he said, "I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." NIV To the woman He said, "I will greatly multiply Your pain in childbirth, In pain you will bring forth children; Yet your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you." Exceptions Exist though! |
9icetoo:Those who know cars know that buying the bits and pieces will cost many times the cost of the assembled car So it is no surprise that replacement parts can cost as much as the car if not more Some owners are not ready to spend that much, which means they do not know the true cost of car ownership Makes me feel that used luxury cars are really a good deal after-all, imagine getting a vehicle costing $150,000 for $15,000.00 or less Rarely will you have to spend half of that on parts to bring it back to factory standard, provided it was well taken care of Unlike camry and the like, that you buy used for around $15,000 and might spend another $15,000.00 to bring back to factory standard And then there is the value of not spending all that $150,000 at a go, or the $75,000 at a go but over time. Seems priceless I think the pricing of tokunbo parts/cars causes Nigerians to have a false impression of the true cost of running cars, which may explain why we have stories of people who say they never changed a thing except brake pads and oil, without telling us how much use in terms of miles and kilometers that the car has seen, making others who know no better to come to a false conclusion as to the true cost of car maintenance |
jamex93:You want to know? You didn't ask them? You come ask us? How we go know? |
yinka500:How many miles/km at point of purchase? Things fail, you should expect them to. If you spent more than 600,000.00 I would say you over spent. You didn't. Cars need to taken care of the way, married men take care of their wives, and boyfriends their girlfriends The only thing is this, if you marry high-maintenance babe, get ready for high maintenance expenses, same for high maintenance girlfriend. High maintenance can be in terms of taste or in terms of health. The real question is what was the health status of the Camry when you got it, did the former owner neglect it or pamper it? If he neglected it and you don't want to drive it into the ground, you needed to fix it. 500,000.00 + 150,000.00 = 750,000.00 Might not be so bad after-all depending of course on what the 150,000.00 was spent on ( in terms of the parts and the quality of the parts) My own Nigerian vehicle is pampered with oem replacement parts, so it is an exception to the rule you are making, and in any case, i don't plan to sell. if i ever get tired of the ride, i either keep it in my backyard (sorry that should be read as my museum) or gift it to a starter for a mere token or for free. I don't get this big issue about resale value |
blazeup:If I went for the Audi, I would bask in the comfort of knowing for a certainty that factory approved factory dealerships exist in Abuja and Lagos. But nothing stops me making friends with someone who drives a similar vehicle so I can know his/her mechanic who might be an independent, trustworthy and lower cost than the dealership. Even those with lots of money to throw away don't necessarily go to the dealerships but highly trained independent shops who know exactly what they are doing and specialize in high end vehicles such as this one, that might be a way out of this debacle But if the worst came to the worst, and I still don't want to go to a dealership or to an independent in Abuja or Lagos, I know where to find a mechanic and it seems the cost of doing some of these things are cheaper in Edo than either Abuja or Lagos. I have seen much more A6 and A8 and the A4 in Benin (in use and for sale) than I have seen in any other place in Nigeria I have been to, I know with such a critical mass, they have got to have specialists that one can turn to if the worst comes to the worst and expertise cannot be found elsewhere Hence the suggestion Finally, most certainly, I would not have gone for the Camry but the A6 if I were in the OP's situation |
a good driver is one who can stop... not one who has to be stopped what a monumental waste of life and resources to both himself and those close to him |
ronald4lif:Acts 17:11 as contained in the New International Version reads: "Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true." instead of questioning, they are worshiped God even allowed Abraham to question him on account of his nephew Lot over the destruction of Sodom If God allowed himself to be question what of mere man? Just because he carries the tag Man of God, he can no longer be questioned? All he said should be swallowed without scrutiny. Errant nonsense! So sad, God never intended it that way! But you need to see how these MoGs behave if you attempt to ask questions, that is even a sign that there not in fact MoGs! |
boliano:Which year's model? |
lukman22:Reason #1: Siena has roots in Edo State, the Nigerian Audi/Volkswagen capital. Reason #2: All Aluminum body Reason #3: All Wheel Drive Reason #4: Bose Surround System But do take a look at the caranddriver and cargurus reviews for this vehicle. It is an all round nice vehicle |
sultaan:LOL...words of consolation...but you re stating a fact come to think of it... |
blazeup:Edo State is Nigeria's capital of Audi. Am sure you can find or import Audi specialists from there if they aren't close to you. But as good as Toyota products are, if you aren't in such funds as to replace them if stolen, I wouldn't recommend them |
oxygen sensors? leaking exhausts? pipe in place of catalytic converter? have you run a scan? |
Radiator fins corroded and falling off A radiator problem peculiar to Northern regions is external corrosion of the fins. This is caused by winter and road salt, and reduces the fins to a white powder. The fins then crumble and fall off, and once they do, that section of the radiator cannot exchange heat with the outside air. Run your hand gently over the fins at the middle of the rad's core, at the very bottom, under the bumper. If they're crumbly, you'll know. Warmer areas may suffer from sand, pine needles and other debris embedded in the lower half of the rad, which prevent air movement through the rad and thus impair heat exchanging. Water pump impeller corroded The only time you'll ever see this is if you're using a low-quality aftermarket water pump, or you've mixed incompatible coolants, or the coolant has never, ever been changed. If the impeller is gone or much reduced in size, coolant can't be pumped into and out of the rad, so it will boil and overheat Lower radiator hose collapsed If you're using genuine Honda hoses, you'll never see this problem unless your rad cap has gone bad and won't allow coolant back into the engine. When the water pump is turning, it's sucking water through the thermostat and the lower rad hose. That suction can cause the same sort of hose collapse as you get in a drinking straw when you try to suck a thick milkshake through it. If the hose is insufficiently reinforced on the inside, it can get sucked flat and coolant flow will stop. When you let off the pedal or shut the car off, the hose pops back to normal. If you use aftermarket hoses, not all of them will be of high quality, and may be prone to this phenomenon. To check for this, rev the car hard with your hand on the throttle in the engine compartment, and watch the lower hose. If it doesn't collapse, it's probably fine. This can also happen as the car cools off, if the rad cap return seal has gone bad. All the credit goes to: 'Honda overheating Symptoms and most likely causes' by www.tegger.com |

rewires) plus our maintenance culture can turn this technological masterpiece to a moving Nightmare in less than 5 years. I currently own a camry 2007 which is a superb powerful salon car that can give any germany car a real showdown when well maintained and the fact that it would never give up makes it ideal for me for now... you see it depends on your plans.. If you are willing to spend on original car parts regardless the cost any car would be ideal....
