Simply reply:"babe, I fully understand you but I am comfortable the way I look NOW. Yes, I could change and look just the way you would want me to but I wouldnt FEEL/BE myself any longer and that could have consequences on our r/ship. Pls accept me the way I am and don't try to change/improve my looks." |
^^As I said:"some are ready for it, others aint" but assuming that nobody in their young age can is a wrong assumption. |
^^I think you meant Tokyo!! |
@s.ohiemi The man don kolo!!! He left nice sweet Omolola to go and seek for greener pastures. Now he is here opening threads about Jamaicans who don't want to cook african dishes. @190 Who told you that Jamaican were famous for African cooking? They are the world champion in Igbo smoking!!! |
@SA lady Not everyone is meant to grow "that way", some grow while married. Its a different growth but it doesn't automatically doom this union. Many out there have been taking care of their siblings ALONE Day in and day out since a very young age (while parents are at work), thats family value for you right there. Wouldn't such person make a great family orientated wife? Do you believe that she HAS to grow as an individual and know herself to make this marriage work? It is not for everybody but some CAN be great wives/mothers at a young age. They can't miss what they never had! A well respected NLer, Jennykadry, was married well before she was 23 and is blissfully/happily married 10 yrs down the line. |
@OP If these desperate women wouldn't settle for less than average men, to begin with, then they wouldn't have to worry about "good " men being after them because they would already be with one. So these women should look within themselves and ask the very important question:"why do y'all settle for average fella rather than wait for the good one?!" |
^^No matter how MANY |
^^ have we?! Oh well, I guess I believe in my theory. . . . . No matter how desperate hungry, broke asss we would encounter out there. |
See how husband fled leaving his wife taking the fall bwaaaaaah!! At least, he surely built a mansion back home where he can rest with his feet up while his "compadres and wifey" languish in jail! |
@Ceeplus A friendship that needs "capital" to thrive is not a TRUE friendship. @kenistry Without money, LIFE itself is not possible, let alone relationship. don't get it all twisted. We all understand what the saying" no romance without finance" means . . . . . Go ask all them golddiggers if they will accept sharing Tesco dinner with you, lol! Use your brain for a minute, the money you will use to buy YOURSELF dinner is what you will use and share that dinner with your damsel(unless you never eat!?!?!?!) Now, if you happen to want a fancy damsel that has high exclusive tastes then that's all on you. Thou shall not try to fart higher than your own asss(French saying) I would understand a woman who is accustomed to a certain lifestyle (that she can provides for herself) and who wants to continue living on that same level BUT i definitely don't understand the poor hungry broke asss ones that don't know the difference between a Chardonnay and a Sauvignon blanc wanting to be treated to fine dining. . . . . Ultimately, the guy paying for it all is the mugu in the picture! @all How do you feel if you know that your gal could be gone, simply if someone threw more money at her than you?! What kind of sad, sorry but also stressful life is that? |
See "body clock" having desperate women lose their damn minds over men!!!!! Genie (or whatever they call you), you have clearly shown that you have absolutely no respect or care for either of these guys. First you left #1 for his friend and then while with #2 you tried to get back with #1. Believe me, when THE ONE comes along, you definitely won't leave him for some flimsy excuse like that. Sista, although you are not a spring chicken, I suggest you take your time rather than trying to rush into a pointless relationship that will surely end up in heartache. |
You?
ouch! that was uncalled for!
Most of the time it is not what YOU RESPONDED TO but the contents of your response. I know it sucks though.
my reply was: "g.oogle: free f l v c o n v e r t e r" wtf!!!!
Abortion is illegal in Nigeria. No?
is it?! my bad, i thought it was perfectly legal. well,i guess she will have to go to Benin or Cameroon then. Sadly, I actually agree with her, not your rebuttal to her comment.thats isnt surprizing at all! lol. Mba! If it were up to me, I'd make sure every girl that has ever undergone abortion has her kitty stitched afterwards.again saying such harsh words shows that you have a problem with the gals promiscuity/ignorance, out for revenge rather than the well being of the child. |
there is no cheap shot in my reply, you are the one who came here talking about "life" partner, as if there was any relevance with this thread. my only "reservations" with what you wrote was that you said "GUYS" while you should have written "SOME GUYS". i do not doubt for one minute that you may be a pleasant individual but, again, this is irrelevant with the subject at hand. as you can see, many ladies posted on this thread that they didnt believe or view this act as "right" to them. you should therefore address this issue with your fellow women rather than me, i just stated a fact that THEY corroborated. ABEG, dont shoot the messenger! |
That is dumb, whey have CHILDREN IF YOU DO NOT WANT THEM? A lot of these children that are in ORPHANAGE are byproduct of PARENTS who are HIV/AIDS positive and/or died of some illnesses. So the LACK OF bleeping ALL NILLY WILLY will surely reduce the amount of HIV/AIDS running amok! duh! It is okay for YOU TO TELL WOMEN they shouldn't wear PANTYLINERS to bed/while bleeping BUT IT NOT OKAY TO TELL people NOT TO HAVE AN ABORTION? Seriously.
ok fair enough but what has THAT got to do with people adopting these children?! parents died of AIDS but many kids are not infected and, YET, get to stay at the orphanage till they are old enough to be thrown in the street to fend for themselves. guess what most will turn into?! Ujujoan:hey sunshine, as usual. . . . . . . . . . . . . for replying to a thread about video converter!!!!!!!!! |
I can see Mrbrownjay point in the matter. However, sir ABORTION isn't the way to solve the issue. If these people would exercise some natural birth control then the SUFFERING OF ORPHANED children will decrease. We have to take responsibility to what we CONTRIBUTE TO THE WORLD. If we do not want children or can't afford children then we need to PRACTICE BIRTH CONTROL.
yes you are right and thus having an abortion will surely CONTROL what we WOULD contribute to this world. if anyone wants to adopt, let them go adopt the zillion of kids waiting for a guardian in orphanages. people who dont want children have the rights to have as much sex as they please and as much abortions as they please. who are we to dictate what one should or shouldnt do?! as long as they aint doing anything criminal then let them decide what is good for them.
I'm afraid, the topic isn't about what to do with pregnancy but, the existence of justifiable reason as to why killing the child/abortion should be encouraged; which requires that, one who is for abortion states these reasons and, one who is against it [ like me] rebuts the points given and, give other options that seem better, ruling out abortion. That's exactly what I did, Mrbrownjay. I also understand that in practical, only an individual can decide what she does with her body and the issue of abortion being right or wrong is almost not considered but, I'm only addressing the topic and my point is, under these seeming good circumstances where abortion is supposed to be justified, if there are other options, even though less convenient but if there are at all, they should be considered . . .Abortion is not the only soln.
point taken. Your comment was ''just because some women cant bare children , shouldn't be a reason for women to have unwanted children'' and I gave the hungry man instance to illustrate that no matter how useless a thing is to you, discarding it improperly when there's someone close to you in dire need of it is never applausable. Put aside, how necessary both are.my comment about women who cant bare children was a direct response to Think_sh who wrote: "Plenty of people around the world would do anything to have a child but cant, so that child would bless their lives endlessly and in return the child's life would be blessed." using desperate women as a reference was her idea, not mine. i suggest you direct your query towards her. Need I remind you again that I'm against abortion and would therefore, in this argument, not consider the woman's selfish reason for choosing abortion over other options, where available. Following your logic . . . It's my responsibility to fend for myself as an adult. Since I have no money and I urgently need money, I rob a bank even though I could do 'demeaning' jobs to get money. Acording to you, if the court finds me guilty, it's immature because I solved my problem the way I deemed it fit? Hello Mbj?let me therefore say that i am pro abortion,i would not consider any person selfish reason for trying to pressure anyone to bring some unwanted children into this world. if as an adult you see robbing a bank as the only way to fend for yourself (when there is clearly other options available) then fair enough BUT you should accept the consequences of your actions. who made you judge and jury?! arm robbery is a crime by law, abortion isnt, wake up!!!! maturity will have you evaluate your emotional/physical/financial situation before thinking of bringing a child into this world. only an immature being would think that they MUST have this kid regardless of how you can cater for this person's life. I haven't said force them to birth the baby but I must say it wouldn't be a bad idea if that were possible. People must learn to take responsibility for their actions.so if i understand you correctly you dont want to solve the problem, you just want to PUNISH the gals for opening their legs. oh lawd! LET HE WHO HAS NO SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE!!!!! (i can picture you coming forward with your heart full of hate for pregnant mothers, lol) Why should we curse and point fingers at the armed robber who kills while 'operating' when we're doing just the same thing albeit in a 'mild form'? Did I hear someone say it's just a fetus?hhhmmmm "maybe" because arm robbery/murder is a crime by LAW, abortion isnt, duh! |
livedit:have to use my alter ego, (Nairaland just banned me. . . . . . . .again for no reason!) you are not my type is too broad and not really the truth. that person has to know the EXACT reason in order to "maybe" work on what is driving some men away (especially if they are the one she is searching for) . . . . . . so, as much as we are saying the same thing, if i am not attracted to big/dark or whatever women, i will let that girl know exactly that so there is no misunderstanding WHY i didnt want to be with her. i would say:"babe i am sorry, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you as a person but i am not comfortable dating a big/dark or whatever girl". if that girl turns around and is shocked by my comment then thats on her, i doubt she just realized that she was "big/dark or whatever" or that being that way is a big deal (other than each and everyone's preferences, of course). as for people who have problem such as smelly features, i wouldnt even wait for them to ask me out as i would be direct in telling them that they have a strange smell oozing from whatever part of their body and then continue by offering some solution. how can we even help them solve their "problem" if most people are too scared to even talk about it?! |
^^^bro, if what i wrote above offended you then accept my apologies, as it was not my intention. as for my comment, saying that people act in foolish ways should not be viewed as an insult, but i could have used NOT WISE/SENSELESS or DEFICIENT IN JUDGMENT and it would mean exactly the same thing. |
- just got banned for "supposedly" sending spam, created this new id but cant post on the heated debate going on in the sexuality thread, LOL. . . . . . . . . NL you suck! - i have been in bed all day, its about time i got up. - chicken or beef?! |
