of course the US president brings the secret service with him for DIRECT SECURITY, but it is the duty of the visiting country to provide all extra security on ground.... unless you wrongly believe that its the secret service (and not local security services) that line ALL THE STREETS, and/or cover 100% of security details in the visiting country, lol!

of course not...what happens is that the visiting country provides security on the ground that will ASSIST the secret service, and they (the secret service) will make sure that everyone local parttaking in the security of the president on ground has been screened and vetted.
