a good part of Brazilians practice a religion called CANDOMBLE, which is very much related to yoruba and their deities. so Brazilians pray to a god named olodumare, and its orishas...the most famous one being YEMANJA, the goddess of the sea.

Candomble (brought from Slavery) is so much embedded into Brazilian culture that even non practicioners believe in Yemanja....to give you an idea, every year at new year celebration, millions go to Coppacabana beach wearing white and at 12 o clock jump in the water and bring flowers to thank YEMANJA (mother of all mothers, queen of the sea).

as much as this person did a great gesture, we have to stop making it seem that this is not what ANYONE should do. i wouldnt expect any less from my family, friends, acquaintances etc. them refusing would be whats considered strange!

as much as you can try to make things different, what is happening here is exactly the result of when you enter a LDR.... what else can you do but say "hi how are you today?", "how was your day?" bla bla bla. LDR are boring and unless you meet the person physically, you aint going anywhere.

Any sane parents can fall into this divine trap because most can't stand their children dying before their very eyes except if there is absolutely nothing they can do about it.

Besides, even if they are truly guilty as charged, they weren't planning to commit murder at least. It was just a case of understanding between them and the young lad. Though I ain't supporting such extremity, it's just a classical case of how parents can go crazy because of their children.

what they did is a CRIME in the UK... there are many ways for parents to cater for their children (aka you can legally give your parents/child/siblings an organ), but what they did is CRIMINAL and the minute you cross the line, thats when you need to accept the consequences of your actions.

polygamous men do NOT get respect/pride from being into polygamy (men with just one wife also get pride/respect), they get respect because they are wealthy enough to cater for large family with multiple offsprings from multiple women. a woman could never achieve the same. simply because:

- a Polyandrous woman can only have ONE child every 9 months, even if she has 100 husbands while a polygamous men can father 100 children with his 100 wives in that same time period.
- having more sex will make a man's Instruments stronger, while a woman's Instruments will get loose and widen (aka lack of pleasure from men).
- men can have families til they are on their deathbed, while women's bodyclock limits them at around 50...

Actually I wish Nigeria women have a way of doing this same thing to Nigeria men so that their pride and arrogance towards women can be diminished, in that way they would worth nothing in the eyes of women and they would learn to respect we Nigeria women.
